The changing room floor doesn't get…
The changing room floor doesn't get washed, very dirty all the time. Gym gets very crowded between 5 and 7 in the evening.

Rude and arrogant
I enjoyed going to this gym. That's where the good part ends.
When COVID hit last year & the gym was forced to close I decided to continue paying my monthly DD to support the business. When the gyms opened up again, I decided not to return and chose the "freeze my membership" option on the Energie Fitness website in/around October 2020. Then earlier this year I decided to cancel my membership - which again I used the "cancel my membership" option on the Energie Fitness website.
Imagine my horror when I realised in May 2021 that DD's had continued to be taken by Energie Fitness since November 2020. I again went into the website & "cancelled my membership" & contacted the gym - but got no reply.
I eventually received correspondence with them, telling me to "PFO" basically - I'm not getting my money back. I appreciate small businesses have had a hard time for the last 18 months, but if they're going to offer a Freeze or Cancel option on their website it should be effective.

bad customer service when you leave
Gym has friendly but very unprepared staff. Wrong information given caused me unexpected charge. No efforts towards the customer to make them feel helped.

Horrendous
If I could give less than one star I would.
I had an horrendous experience when trying to cancel my membership. I was told that I would be charged for the following months fee. The staff member on the phone could not give a legitimate reason as to why, but said initially I had to give “8 or 9 days notice, by then end of the call it was 30 days notice.
I went on to say how disgusted I was to hear of this practice because 1) I have been a member in multiple gyms in the last 10 years and never came across this practice 2) since the lockdown of gyms in December I continued to pay my membership as a sign of support and loyalty to the gym, and because we were asked to do so in a generic email sent to all members. More fool me!!!!
So on top of paying 7 months membership for which I received no service, Energie Fitness now seem it fit to charge me for leaving. This is a disgusting practice, and I can only imagine the amount of helpless people that have fallen for this scam.
I write a public review as a I was told on saturday that I would hear from a manager first thing Monday morning. Still waiting. Maybe public shaming will do the trick.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM.

Surely there is something that needs to be reviewed.
It's dirty, especially in the male changing room.
There is no water point in any of the areas - so you must bring your own water.
There are no hairdryers or even sockets in the changing room, forcing me to have a shower at home eveyday.
Missing attachment accessories and bars for training.

My husband and I recently joined the club and we’re both happy with the facility and the friendliness of the staff. I particularly enjoy spin sessions while my husband works with one of the PTs. We’re both satisfied so far and will continue to refer Energie to our friends.

I just love the structure of the gym
I just love the structure of the gym and how it’s not jam packed, I love being able to breathe in the gym, so the structure is better than every other gym I’ve been too, other gyms are just too linear or narrow I hate that.
