Great place to workout
I enjoy going to the Thornton Heath fitness gym. Really good atmosphere. Trainers are really helpful and are on hand to advise you on your training and how you can improve.
Equipment are very well built and the facilities are first class. There are also various classes you can book that fits on with your lifestyle.
Highly recommend a visit.

This was my first time back in the gym…
This was my first time back in the gym for over a year. I was impressed with the equipment, layout and staff, but there were some issues which prevented me from giving a five star review. Firstly, no hand gel in any of the dispensers. This is a definite red flag, especially as we’re still in the midst of a pandemic. Marvellous Mike the Manager came to my rescue with some hand gel kept at Reception. He also sorted out the issue with my fob key. Whatever he’s being paid, you need to triple it. Marvellous Mike is an asset to your gym. Secondly, the sensors on the dustbins didn’t work. Another hygiene issue if you have to touch the bin and there’s no hand gel. In fairness, there was lots of antibacterial spray for cleaning down machines after use. Thirdly, the music was way too loud, so it’s difficult to listen to your own music when the sound system volume is at nightclub level. Despite these issues, which are easily rectified, I really enjoyed my workout and will be spreading the good word. This is a great gym with great staff, so please support it. Thank you!

A good start
I'm happy with my first 5 visits to Energies Thornton Heath at the moment the equipment is new and there is a good selection of different exercise machines I will have to see if they keep up the good impression over the next year.

Compensation not fulfilled
During the lockdown, I was charged twice for not using the gym. I complained and I was refunded but £7 short and I was told I would be compensated with a month free gym session because of that which I also reconfirmed during my registration as the gyms were opened and back in operation, but to my surprise, I was still billed and didn’t get the compensation as promised.

My First-Time Experience
Had a positive experience as my first time joining a GYM. The equipment and place is innovative and very good. The staff is really what has me coming back as they give fantasic support to help me start-up with posture, form etc. and they're also available all around the clock. The members in the GYM are also postive and super friendly which makes me feel more welcoming. It's more than an GYM as they provide fitness trainers on the side which unexpectingly amazed me.
