Not sure if helpful for most, but in my search for a rental flat that would accept pets (yup, still in 2021) Gail Hines was a pleasure to speak to and whilst I didn't have any viewings or secure a property via Entwistles, Gail was able to advise me on a few things that may help with my search, instead of "No, sorry no pets, good bye" that I received from so many others. Thanks again Gail.

Just awful. This estate agent over charges tenants on rent and then never fixes anything. Months without a working boiler, back door jammed shut and won't open, kitchen ceiling hanging down and flooding the kitchen every time someone has a shower. This has been going on for 5 months. Council now involved. Please avoid, these guys are out right scammers.

Gail in Liverpool Office has been very helpful in suggesting ad showing us possible new home. She has been a great help and willing to understand the minds of new immigrants.

My family and I have been renting from Entwistle Green since September 2020 in Maghull. NEVER AGAIN! Nothing EVER gets fixed or reported to the landlord, even when we get through to the landlord nothing gets done. We were promised a new turf, which we got but was laid by some odd jobs man that obviously didn’t have a clue what he was doing because you can see the joins we’re the turf hasn’t knitted together. We were promised that drawers in the kitchen would be realigned as they weren’t quite right, which were still waiting for except now we have a drawer face HANGING OFF. Entwistle Green don’t seem to think this is much of an issue even though we have a toddler running around. Paying a ridiculous amount of money every month for a house that’s falling to bits. Dont bother with this company. Only care about the landlords and not the tenants.

3 emails and Can’t answer one simple question, regarding the property’s, they literally don’t have a clue.. what there flogging, avoiding in the future..

Steer clear from this company! Most unprofessional company in the world! Especially the Allerton Road Branch in Liverpool

My parents house in Maghull still is advertised as a detached bungalow when we have told them 4 times it's a semi detached bungalow, even when they came to take photos they still get it wrong , had loads of viewers then you see the reaction when it's not a detached , waste of time and money , I want the head office to call me and arrange a compensation deal

Used this letting agency to let my home out, much to my regret.
The tenant had debts going back several years and was being pursued by various debt collecting agencies.
Also a criminal record for fraud and embezzlement.
Incredulously Entwistle Greens "rigorous and thorough' vetting procedures did not find any of this information.
Instead they gave her the keys to my home and she left owing me over £2000 in arrears
Absolutely appalling service!

Me and my brother was trying for weeks trying to get a place for ourselves but the people at entwhistle green in bury helped us so much , they did everything in a professional manner and were very supportive throughout the whole process. I’d just like to say the level of professionalism was through the roof as they just constantly were the best people to do this for us, not only that but some of the most caring and considerate people, not to mention how genuine they are. Thankyou very much to Martin and Leanne at bury entwhistle green.

A big thankyou to the ladies at Entwistle Green Allerton, especially Gail, Bev and Ellie. We have several properties with various agents but these are by far the best agents we have used. We are renting out a flat in Allerton, it needed some work doing, we had problems getting tenants in. Within 3 weeks of contacting Entwistle Green, they have sorted out all the work at the best cost with little involvement from us, advertised it and got a great tenant in who is paying 6 months in advance. They did it with a smile, professionalism, hard work and they really seem to enjoy their job. We are on a full management agreement and don't expect to spend anywhere near the time or stress we previously had with this property, leaving it in their capable hands. I am now giving Entwistle Green Allerton the management contract for my HMO in Manchester. I fully recommend this team, haven't got a bad word to say about them.

This estate agents is a complete waste of time and money.
I offered on a property, offer was accepted, valuation booked and paid for, searches started, ready for completion in 2 weeks.
They have accepted an offer from another buyer.
What a waste of time, I’m an experienced landlord and this has never happened to me with other estate agents.
Usually I have a good relationship with my estate agents and they work well with me as they know I buy a couple of properties every year.
Never using these people again

this might come across a bit harsh

but do not view ,sell , or rent your property through this company

i paid full asking price for a property they marketed on monday i offered them full £425000 tuesday they made me run around asking for silly documents eg driving licence copy but needs to be in colour
i spoke to the seller who accepted my offer and by friday my solicitor had contacted them my mortgage advisor has given them all required.

Why not be honest they kept showing the property to buyers even though the seller had said no he tells me they told him he had signed a contract.

the 2 ladys who work in thjs office julia and steph have no idea and customer service they dont understand.
there words we work for the seller buyers dont mean anything to us

on monday they started playing myself off with others and coming with, would you like to up your offer as we got higher than the asking price.

my point on all this is why not just be honest and say we will keep viewing open and best price gets instead off making you run around for silly documents when theyve no intention of accepting the offer.

Just enquired to the blackpool office about a house a snotty young girl answered and told me more or less not to bother with a viewing as they already had quite a few and to call back in a few days and see if it had gone.She kept talking over me butting in and even laughed at me at one point. She then said if I wanted a viewing she would have to put my details in a computer which I think she wasn't happy about and is why she put me off.
Will never contact these again.

They helped sell 5 houses, very quick and simple no hassle, It was the luckiest phone call I have ever made as the properties were not easy properties to sell, but they did it no fuss no messing straight forward and took all the stress away from me.

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews but the customer service was quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced. If they would allow me to a zero star rating, I most definitely would do. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. The most unprofessional estate agents I’ve ever had the displeasure to deal with. I spoke to one their members of staff last Thursday 11/02/2021 and arranged a property viewing for Wednesday 17/02/2021. I travelled from over an hour away and when I got there the property had a sold sign up. No one bothered to notify me. All it would have taken is a simple phone call to advise me of this and it would have saved me the unnecessary journey. They even had the nerve to say the viewing wasn’t logged on their records but continue to spam my inbox with other properties available in the area. They didn’t have the decency to cancel the appointment or notify me property had been sold on the Friday. Made me drive more than 2 hours (there and back) for no reason. Avoid at all costs! If you do decide to use their services I’d suggest calling them in advance on the day of the viewing because if the property has been sold since you booked your viewing chances are they will NOT notify you at all. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Telephoned yesterday and spoke with Gail at Entwistle Green, Allerton. I feel I need to break a habit of a lifetime to recognise outstanding service. I found her to epitomise everything I believe in when delivering exceptional service. To summarise my thoughts: · Diplomatic · emotionally intelligent · highly knowledgeable – able to explain complicated points in a simplistic way and come up with options.

Gail is clearly someone who enjoys what she does, as it was very clear that customer service is intrinsic as she's a natural. She has certainly set the bar and should be used as a benchmark for others. Gail has the right attitude - (something that cannot be trained)Entwistle – look after her, as I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others, as she will rise through the ranks of any organisation!

In an industry that is constantly bombarded with negativity, it was great to come across a shining example of a true customer champion. Gail is a wonderful ambassador for Entwistle Green and the overall industry. It’s been a pleasure to write an unbiased positive review. Mrs P.
