Epson: Takes your money and runs!
Purchased an Epson ET-3850 in July of 23' and within a two year time frame the printer stopped working. Wouldn't turn on at all. Epson suggested I take it to a printer repair ship located on their website....they only offer TWO stores in ALL of FLORIDA!! 150 miles away to get a printer looked at. I found a technology service center locally and the technician could not find anything wrong with it (no blown fuse, plug worked fine, mother board appeared ok). He said he had no idea why it wouldn't turn on. He said he couldn't replace the motherboard if he wanted to because he had no access to purchase the one needed from Epson. Filed a complaint with BBB (they are worthless) and Epson responded by offering a 10% discount from their store online which didn't sell any printers based on the needs I had and used the ink (I had $60 worth) I had already purchased. I just wanted to rebuy the printer I had. They sent me to their refurbished store to buy a fixed up version of the printer I had that stopped working. Why in the heck would I spend $250 for a used fixed up printer when another $100 more you can buy a new one? The point is EPSON DOES NOT stand behind the value of there products. They are a take the money and run company and clearly don't care about the fact hardworking everyday Americans have to put out that kind of money in to ONLY get two years off a printer. I expect that from an $89 printer not a $400 printer. Never again will I recommend or buy an Epson. I'll be sure to let anyone I see at any store looking at an Epson or any printer, NOT to buy an EPSON ever!

Every Epson printer I've ever had the misfortune to use has been terrible. Poorly made and with frequent faults. Never buy one of their products.
The Epson NX430 Ink Cartridges are useless for most people
The Epson NX430 that I bought several years ago never work well for printing. If one didn't use the ink cartridges. The cartridges dried out & always needed replacement. They were exceedingly small and cost a lot of money. So for several years I've only used it to scan not print. Today I find out they reconfigured my printer so that it won't let me scan without buying expensive useless ink cartridges. This was told to me by their Tech Support. Their new system of trying to force users to waste money on the ink or not use the machine for scanning which I've always been able to do in the past. Save your money and buy from a more reputable printer company
Great customer service
Had an internet problem resulting in my wireless printer not connecting even after fixing network and passwords etc. Had Jess from customer service troubleshoot step by step until we worked out the problem. Took about half an hour but very patient, very knowledgeable and more than happy to have my printer up and working again (WF-3825). Thanks Jess
Epson is a scam.
Epson is a scam.
I paid thousands for their S80600L printer and warranty, and when problems came up, Epson never fixed anything. Their Account Manager, Morgan Lynn, promised solutions but delivered nothing. They ignored my BBB complaint and made me lose money and clients.
Don’t trust Epson they don’t honor their own warranty.
I sent my ET-2803 printer to Epson to…
I sent my ET-2803 printer to Epson to have the Ink pad replaced for $58. Once it arrived, Epson called me and refused to replace the ink pad becasue there was dust in the printer. They wanted to dispose of the printer but I refursed. Instead, I had it sent back to me. When it was returned, the power cable was missing and the front cover was missing.
I now understand, I could have fixed it myself and reset the ink waste counter for a total of $20. So I bought a new power cable and did just that. The printer works perfect.
What a scan by Epson!! I am so disappointed!

100% garbage, dont buy. If I could put stars in the negative I would. 1 star is too high. I called customer service 4 times, listened to the shit music while I waited and was hung up in less time than I waited. No reason at all. I'm not a Karen, I didn't even raise my voice.
Bought new ink for just under $200, ran the cleaning 7 times and still my paper was coming out blank yet the ink cartridges read less than half upon completion. I'll never buy the
product again. I'm all about reusing and recycling and I won't even drop this off at ValuVillage for someone else. Its going directly into the dump...
Epson sells premium printers but abandons customers on ink supply
I purchased an Epson L18050 six-colour photo printer for a substantial sum, specifically to produce fine artwork. This is a professional-grade machine, and Epson markets it as such.
Yet Epson has completely failed to ensure that the correct consumables are available in Egypt. The L18050 requires the 108 series inks (or 057 in some regions). In practice, these are simply not stocked in Egypt. Local retailers and Amazon are flooded instead with the wrong inks (the 103 series, suitable only for budget models) and even counterfeit bottles.
I want to be clear: I absolutely love this printer. But without the correct inks it is nothing more than scrap sitting on my desk.
This is not a minor inconvenience — it renders the printer useless unless I resort to non-Epson compatible inks. Epson itself warns that using such inks risks damaging the printer and voiding protection. In other words, Epson has placed me in a trap: either my expensive printer sits idle, or I take a risk with my investment and my artwork.
Epson: take this as formal notice. If I am obliged to use non-brand compatibles because of your failure to supply genuine 108 inks, and if my printer suffers damage as a result, I shall expect:
A replacement printer free of charge
Compensation for wasted time, materials, and reputational damage to my business
Epson’s treatment of “secondary markets” is a scandal. It is unacceptable to sell high-end equipment without making the correct consumables consistently available.
Until Epson addresses this failure, I will advise other professionals to avoid investing in Epson printers unless they live in markets where ink supply is guaranteed.
This review is not just a complaint — it is a record. Epson has been put on notice.
Horrible
Horrible, misleading customer support, and not to be trusted when sending in a printer for repair. They will just take your money in the end without fixing the problem. The printer itself is too much a hassle to use, with chronic ink and printer head cleaning issues. Never going with Epson again.
I bought a printer for over 2000 EUR
I bought an Epson CW C4000e printer for over 2000 EUR, and it came with almost empty ink cartridges. Right after installation, the printer started warning about low ink and that I needed to buy new cartridges. This is absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive printer – selling a premium product with nearly empty consumables feels like a scam.
My next printer will definitely not be an Epson, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.
An awful company with bad products
An awful company with bad products. Making users need their awful app so they control everything. Printers used to be easy to install, but these lot make installation only possible with their awful application. Epsom exemplifies everything that is wrong with the tech sector. A printer sitting at home that I am unable to install due to a technical error that only exists due to their unnecessary overreaching technology.

Last year when I called for support they were so helpful and the last two or three people that I have spoke to were rude and impatient with me and I don't appreciate it
This is not user frindly like HP
This is not user frindly like HP. Very Complecated! Does not work properly. I will never buy Epson product. I lost my $800. Please don't buy Epson product if you care for your money.
From great to horrible in minutes!
I initially thought that their customer support was exceptional, offering to replace my printer because of a hardware failure. But I was going to have to send in my printer, then once they received it, they were going to ship out the replacement. But I don't know how they expect me to run a business when I don't have a printer for over a week! So I contacted customer service to find out which printers used the same ink, since I had just spent a fortune in new Epson ink cartridges. I could make an appointment to talk to someone NEXT WEEK! That's just ridiculous.
Epson commits fraud on inkjet printers
Epson sets a timer on printers so that after some period of time it tells you a non-consumer serviceable ink sponge is full and the printer will no longer function. I replaced the sponge and asked them for help to reset the timer. Spent an hour on the phone with them, they refuse to help in anyway except to to pay a $75 ransom for them to reset the timer or 15% off a new printer. This company has committed mass fraud on American consumers. If there is a lawyer out there seeking a class action, I'd be happy to lead the class.
Poorly put together program and…
Poorly put together program and websites. They are on pacific time so you have to wait for customer service to open. No one reads or responds to emails on the weekends. Emailing support does nothing to help. They send a generated emal that says call customer service when they open. Managing account doesn't show crap. Epson doesn't have a paper add on service.
3 months, no functionality
Well, came here to leave my disappointment, but looks like that is taken care of...had printer through Epson ready print, arrived quickly, but haven't been able to print ANYTHING for 3 plus months now. They claim billing issues, so I call their customer service, and they don't take payments online or over the phone...so you have to update your card info and wait...and wait...then, weeks later the bill you...and then don't activate the printer..
