Poor customer service and unresolved duplicate payment issue
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I was charged twice for the same vehicle service because their payment system failed to recognise my first payment, even though the money was taken from my bank account. As the payment appeared to have failed, my friend had to pay the bill instead.
I have tried contacting the company several times to explain the situation and request a refund, but they have ignored my calls and have not made any effort to resolve the issue. This has been very frustrating and shows a lack of customer care.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Customers should be able to trust that their payments are handled properly and that any issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.

My second hand car came without the security key for the locking wheel nuts! Despite asking sales to supply one asap, as I was going touring with the car, they were unable to help, saying I had to book the car in with the service department when they could fit me in? Should I require a wheel removal would they cover the cost of having the security nut cut off? No help offered! Rather than wait the 10 days before it could go in I went onto E - Bay and found a service where you took a photo of your security wheel nut and they would try and match it. Hey presto, they matched it and in 3 days a security wheel nut key for my vehicle arrived. Cost £21.99, no fuss, so very easy. And the moral of this story, love my car, rubbish customer service from this dealer!

Just returned from my first visit to Evans Halshaw Old Trafford, since they have taken over the Renault Manchester franchise. Wasn't massively impressed. Renault Manchester used to offer collection/drop off - EH no longer appear to do this. On arrival, the car park was full/disorganised so it was hard to find somewhere to leave my vehicle. Late on day one I got a call to say my vehicle needed to be kept overnight, and it was hard to get an update on the status of it on day two (I needed a prompt return). Despite booking/paying for a 'B Service' for my Zoe, there was some uncertainty about which service has actually been performed (and this hadn't been recorded in the handbook), including some discussion about whether it needed an oil change (which is concerning as an EV it doesn't have engine oil!) - I wasn't convinced the EH staff were that experienced in servicing Renault EVs. Vehicle health check promised also didn’t materialise - even though I asked for particular areas of concern to be checked. I didn’t get the feeling they valued my custom, so I think I’ll go elsewhere in future…

If i could give a zero i would, im in the procesd of contacting a solucitor, and having to do this for them to return a bond payment i made to jacob, do not deal with him or this branch, nog only the bond payment, but trims that were supposed to be ordered, havent been, then went through paperwork and realised i had been charged more for the warranty than was originally agreed, how many more people have been ripped of by these sharks, check your paperwork thoroughly people or better still dont use these conmen

Recently brought a second hand car, and arranged delivery to our home, it didn't arrive when we agreed, it wasn't cleaned as promised, didn't undergo the multi point check as promised, and arrived with the engine warning light on red and tyre pressure indicator showing as faulty. The sales guy if you can call him that now doesn't really want to know. He advised u not to drive the car. Then then just before writing this to drive it to a garage of our choosing and get it repaired and they will cover the costs subject to a host of caveats.

I have been visiting firstly the Ford, then Evans Halshaw Old Trafford branch for over 20 years. I've always found it to be a very welcoming place with very friendly and efficient staff who always make you feel welcome and valued as a customer...The reception area is clean and tidy as are the toilets, plus there is plenty of tea, coffee or water available....regarding the vehicle servicing side, I'm pleased to say that I've always felt confident that my vehicle is being well maintained and look after.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received at Evans Halshaw in Manchester.
As a long-standing customer of Renault and Dacia, I have previously used their dedicated service centre in Swansea, where the experience was significantly better. This recent experience felt more like dealing with a third-party garage rather than an authorised service provider.
I had a full service and MOT booked for 8:00 AM on 16th April 2026. However, I was kept waiting at the centre until approximately 4:30 PM due to unavailable brake pads and discs. Throughout this time, there was a lack of clear communication regarding delays or expected completion time. Spending an entire day waiting without proper updates is unacceptable.
After finally receiving the vehicle, I discovered that the service/maintenance warning was still active, and the Dacia app continued to show the vehicle as overdue for service. This raises concerns about whether the service was properly completed.
I contacted the service department and was asked to return at 8:30 AM on 18th April. Upon arrival, I was informed that the issue could not be resolved because no Renault/Dacia technician was available. This is particularly frustrating, as I was specifically asked to come in. This issue should have been resolved on the original service day.
I have now been asked to return again on Monday, which means additional fuel costs and further loss of my time, despite having already paid for the service and holding a service plan with you.
Overall, this experience has been highly inconvenient and disappointing. I strongly urge Renault/Dacia to consider establishing a dedicated service and MOT facility in Manchester, similar to the one in Swansea, to ensure customers receive the standard of service expected from the brand.
At present, I regret purchasing a service plan due to this experience, and I am not satisfied with the level of customer service provided.

Went in for a warranty repair (check airbag light amber), 3 months later it's still not fixed, they ran out my warranty and tried to charge me, 6th time in for same issue.
