Used the app to book a service with collection and delivery, 1st time booked it in on the app, took it to the garage, no record found. 2nd time no one shows to collect so call the garage, they no longer offer that service? So if you don’t offer it update the app to state that. DO NOT USE THE APP TERRIBLE.

I took my car in for a service and MOT March 25 at the York branch. I was told an approximate time for completion and organised a lift to collect it. I then received a phonecall to state it was ready, but could I give it another 45 minutes so they could wash it. I agreed and gave it an extra hour. When I arrived I was told it was still waiting to go in for a valet and could I wait another 45 minutes. As I had other appointments I had to decline, but this is the second time now. I was asked if I could bring it back the following day, but I had work and it was my only free day. After paying nearly £600 I left feeling a little disappointed in the organisation. I will return to my usual dealership in future.

normally in these feedback boxes i just put Great Service, but this one need a bit more. from the first introduction to the showroom and meeting Liam i knew we were off to a good start. he kept me informed during the wait from order to delivery and was so accommodating looking after my every need. a very handsome manager came for a chat after everything was sorted. keep up the good work Liam and stay safe. Lying scum who damaged my car whilst in their possession then bodged the bodywork repair and the vehicle was then taken to another dealership to rectify.
Evans Halshaw are an utter disgrace

Absolutely a horrendous experience. The worst I’ve had in a dealership, and that’s saying something…
I’ll preface this by saying apparently we didn’t fill out a required document for the recall work so that’s our bad. The service after that was not.
We initially booked in our car for recall repair work about 2-3 months ago. When we went the first time we were told there’s no record of the appointment and we would have to wait 2 months till another was available…. Begrudgingly we accepted that and the gentleman booked us in.
So the big day after months of waiting is finally here and we are getting our car fixed. Which is a relief as my wife is pregnant and we are getting close to the due date. Obviously having is a massive stress factor for us.
Walked into the dealership and wandered around for like 5 mins with staff members actively avoiding us. Finally got to see someone and was told ‘oh, I saw this the other day, has the work on your car been completed already?’ , ‘No we are dropping it off. ‘ , ‘it’s been marked as done and therefore we can’t do it’
Multiple problems with statement. If the gentleman had seen it why not call or text and tell us the appointment was no longer valid. They could have easily spared a moment and spared us a 40 mile round trip.
Then as I got a little annoyed they proceed to just blame stellantis. The recaller. They said there was a number we had to call and a document to we needed to fill out. When asked why we hadn’t heard of this before they said ‘oh, we’re just Evans Halshaw not stellantis’. Thing is we had called this number and nothing about any forms were ever mentioned.
At this point my wife left the dealership is in tears. We had no offer of help getting this sorted. The staff were rude and did not even offer a rebooked appointment.
Even another customer in the deal ship was mad for us.
This is by far the worst service I have ever received. And the most judged and belittled I have felt by staff anywhere. My advice, avoid at all cost…

What a delightful experience, Joshua McMurray our sales person was professional, polite, helpful and patient. I have always left dealing with car sales persons to my husband but this young man couldn't have been more obliging and respectful to both of us.
P.S. I love my new car!!!!

One of the worst after sales experiences I've ever had!
My wife wanted an electric Mini and we'd been searching for a few weeks as she wanted a specific spec and color. I managed to find the exact model in Evan Halshaw York so made the enquiry online and received a call within minutes, everything seemed quite quick and I'd agreed a deal within a few hours.
This is where it then started to go down hill! I purchased the car on a Monday and was told I'd soon receive a delivery date, the following day I asked for the delivery date and was told there was an issue with the forms and I had to sign these again. Again I signed the forms and waited for a delivery date. By the Thursday I'd started to become frustrated so contacted Zameer (Salesman) via Whatsapp (this was a contact method he'd previously used) to ask for a delivery date to be told he was still working on it. I then replied 10 minutes later to raise my concerns around how slow everything seemed to go once id agreed to purchase the car and sign the forms. Within 90 seconds of sending the message I received a call with a delivery date.
Leading up to the delivery I asked if I could have an idea of delivery times. Whilst I know it can't be exact, morning or afternoon would have helped. I was told by Zameer whilst he couldn't give me a time I would 100% get one hours notice so I could go about my day and not worry about being home. On the day of delivery I contacted Zameer again around midday to double check if I could 100% go out as I hadn't heard anything. Again I was told not to worry and go about my day. Well needless so say, 20 minutes into a food shop I had to leave the shop leaving behind half a trolley of food because the driver was waiting outside my house without giving any notice.
Whilst the car itself was in great condition, I immediately noticed that the mats weren't in the car. After looking in the boot and back of the car I contacted Zameer again to explain the mats were missing. Only to get a response of "they were in the car as it left". Really not sure what I'm meant to do with this answer? Zameer agreed to look in the workshop the next day.
The next day rolled round and as expected I hadn't received contact from Zameer so after waiting all day I messaged him again at 4:30pm to be told he'd not gone into work that day so couldn't tell me. After waiting another 2 days without a single contact from Zameer or Evan Halshaw I called the branch (8/5/25) and asked to speak to the manager. I explained my frustrations which Samuel (the manager) seemed to take on board and was assured he'd personally see to it that new mats were ordered that day direct with mini. The following day I then receive a text from Zameer without even an apology for leaving me without contact for 3 days, ignoring the fact I had to contact his manager.
Fast forward 2 weeks and after not receiving the mats or a single contact from the branch I reached out to Zameer again to ask where the mats were. I explained that mini are actually advertising the mats as a 3 day delivery time on there website. Zameers response was that I could purchase the mats and Evan Halshaw would reimburse me.
At this point I had zero trust in Evan Halshaw and no intention of buying these myself so I can then be ignored for weeks on end whilst trying to get my money back. I replied to Zameer not only explaining I didn't want to do this, but also listing the events I've explained above and just how unhappy I was. This message was read and ignored!
At this point I'd really had enough and so messaged again to advice of my further frustrations and tell him I'd be contacting head office. The response I received it possibly one of the most unprofessional responses I've ever come across. Just a one word response of "Wow".
I contacted head office in middle of May and still no response. Whilst Zameer has been awful, after contacting the branch manager and head office it's clear the company culture is that it's acceptable to treat customers this way once they've got your money!
EDIT - Really frustrating that I'm yet to receive a response to my complaint or this review! Yet I've been contacted to ask if I'd change the review to take out the managers name who I spoke with! Its like your company has no shame!

Awful Aftercare!
Do not buy from this company, I purchased a car and th3 sales process was fine, very helpful. 7 weeks in my 21 car development a fault and my car went into lino mode. Naturally I was concerned but one of the managers I spoke to explained what it could be which parts would be covered by the additional 1k warranty and purchased and if it something else he suggested he put my mind at ease and said it wouldn't cost a lot if not covered on the insurance. In thr meantime the car alerted me to needing Ad Blue and a service, I did both and fault went.. or so I thought. I had cancelled the car inspection as the problem seemed to be resolved. Fast forward 3 months later and my car is telling me it needs another service, to add Ad Blue and went limp again. I spoke with my trusted mechanic who said it wasn't due for a service for another service for 3 months. He checked it over and ran a diagnostics which indicated 35 faults! I sent this across to the dealer and asked 1 very simple question.. If these faults showed up on your diagnostics would thr 1k additional warranty you sold me cover it. Given that one of the sales Managers was able to give me this advice to offer me some reassurance previously I assumed this was a perfectly acceptable question to ask. Apparently not. They have refused to answer only saying that they need to run their own which if whatever faults they find aren't covered by the warranty I will be charged £156 for thr privilege. As the car has clearly had these faults from the start I wasn't willing to spend more money with them without having some idea as to whether what has been identified would hypothetically speaking be covered on the warranty I paid extra for. I asked for a call back and was told the service manager would call me back in 48 hours. 10 days later no call back. When emailing again, I was told he wouldn't be calling me as I've already been told they won't be telling me what my warranty covers. The warranty was sold to me as additional manufacturers warranty but from the last email I received which said I couldn't take the car to a Pegeot garage it would need to be an Evans Halshaw it seems this isn't what I thought I purchased. I asked to make a complaint and speak to the manager above, asking for their details. I was told no, it's against GDPR to give out a managers work number or email but that they would pass my email on. On looking into thr history of the car the previous owner only had it 8 weeks before getting rid which again would suggest this problem was already present when I bought the car. I fail to understand if a full 360 check was complete how these 35 faults weren't identified especially the one which send my car into limp mode which leaves it unsafe for me to drive but as a single parent I have no choice. The aftercare/service department are rude and are of no help at all. I am a senior manager and if one of my colleagues received a complaint and refused to give my details this would be addressed with them directly. I can't get my head around why there is such a reluctance to say without looking at it further it's hard to say however.. and give some guidance and reassurance on whether I am going to waste £156 for them to say no none of it is covered or yes these parts would be covered. The refusal of the service manager to speak with me after being told I was getting a call back is incredibly unprofessional and it seems to me that there is no customer care it's all about how much more money they can get from you. I am now very reluctant to even send my car here for a diagnostics as I don't trust thr service manager to give an honest review of the issues car is having and has always had from the off which if the warranty isn't an extention of Pegeots which I was told it was then i am left needing to take it to a Evans Halshaw when ideally I want nothing more to do with them. I will be advising everyone I know ow not to buy a car from here. Ypu don't expect to walk away 18k lighter with a faulty car and no customer service whatsoever. The worst customer service experience I have ever had quite frankly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
