Bought mini with Justin happy with the service and deal given

My car was recalled for work to be done. Evans Halshaw had me booked in really quickly. They kept me up to date with progress and even spotted an unrepairable puncture in my tyre which I had missed. The staff are so friendly it’s always a pleasure to visit

After the last 28 years with evans and reg vardy before have left business and bought elsewhere.
Cus service leave a lot to be desired and I personally working it
No advory on mot end march brake pads,however service july told need redoing and advised £350. Had another garage look and told had another 16,000 miles on them. Day after service air con not working. Got it regassed by another garage and still going to charge £156 to investigate fault and add to fix. Despite being booked in for that no body available dinostic test so how they were going to check it mystery to me.
Asked about resettlement figure as wasn't happy. Directed to sales who said "go on internet" and walked off

Booked in for an MOT 9-1pm but at drop off was told it would be done any time before 5pm. The car failed its MOT so that it would be repaired the next day. Not ideal, but fair enough. Was also told it needed a new timing belt and was quoted over £800 - double the typical price so I declined. Called the next day for an ETA and was told it would be ready the following day - so 3 days without a car.
Finally picked up the car on the Friday and it started making noises the next day. Called first thing on Monday and was told it couldn’t be looked at until the Wednesday. Turned out they’d not screwed the bolt in properly.
They also overcharged me for the MOT which they said would be refunded, but still no sign of that after over a week.
Just really poor all around in terms of expectations, service and quality.

Had my car in for a service and MOT – everything was done quickly and efficiently while I waited. The new coffee machine was a nice touch and made the wait even more comfortable! The staff were super helpful, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. Everything was clearly explained from start to finish, and booking through the website was super easy. Great experience all around – highly recommended!

My car was picked up from my home for its annual M.O.T. and service. When completed the car was brought back to me. This just makes my life so much easier. Brilliant service from helpful and friendly staff.

Efficient, friendly, helpful staff. Recall arranged easily n with speed. Although received a different courtesy car as previously been informed, car replacement easy to drive n a new experience for me. Informed quickly when car was ready for collection. Courtesy health check good idea,plus detailed checks very useful n easy to understand.

I have bought many cars from this dealer and always have a positive experience. I have a service plan and my last visit went smoothly from ringing to make the appointment to collecting my car. More than helpful during my visit for work on my car

My vehicle was booked in for a service and MOT at a time suitable for me. I had also requested a courtesy car for the day. I was greeted in a friendly manner when I dropped my car off, courtesy car was arranged for me, action required was discussed and I was advised that I would be contacted if there were any issues or when my car was ready for collection. I was informed of progress during the day and again when I could collect my car. The overall process was great from start to finish thanks to friendly, professional, helpful staff.

Fast friendly

I took my car to have a new time belt fitted and brake fluid changed. The staff were very helpful and very knowledgeable nothing was a problem.The experience was very pleasant

Would give a minus 5 if I could. Bought a car from Evan’s Halshaw which needed an MOT took car to MOT station parked outside very rude man told me to move the car into the car park, looked around car park no spaces at all as they had a delivery of new cars. I tried to explain to him there was no spaces he said not my problem you can’t park there and walked away, his manner was very aggressive. I walked over to him and said I will have to leave the car there and said you will have the keys so will be able to move it if necessary, his reply was “not my problem”.
My biggest regret is that we took out a service plan when we bought the car, but thankfully I believe I can take the car to a different service centre. Would most definitely not recommend Evan’s Halshaw.

No customer care nowadays. I worked for Vauxhall in the early 90s and the customer was king. Nowadays the staff look as if they want to be somewhere else and the customers an inconvenience. Sadly this is normal now.

Buying a car can be quite stressful but our experience with Stephen made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. Excellent customer service and nothing too much trouble, Would definitely come back in the future. Thank you.

I've been a customer for many many years but so disappointed this time. My car was driven 22 miles, however as it's under 7 miles from my home to the garage, no more than 14 miles should have been done. Where has my car been I ask??
