Evernote has been useful for me regardless of what email address I had, or where I worked, or what phone I had. I am a long-time fan and I don't even use all the bells and whistles. It's a trusted pla... See more

I really need GPS tagged notes and ability to find/organize my notes by location. I also hate the constant pop-ups for introductory items that i'm forced to click through when opening up the software online.
This app works great
This app works great! I can quickly add info and find it again. It has become my external brain and filing cabinet. I can't do without it!

I like the way the program adapts to my quirky way of writing. Also that is available on all my computers.
My favourite notebook
My favourite and go-to notebook that I've been using for 6 years constantly!
The price increase for the value is…poor
The price increase for the value is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I'm right at the boundary of needing premium so I feel I'm paying a lot for what I get.
The AI is not helping me. In some ways it hurts as the search results become less clear.
I would prefer to see UI improvements - e.g. a scroll bar you can actually see and manipulate. Better handling of tab as a navigation tool.

Mission creep at a steep cost.
What went wrong? It started as a note-taking app that allowed access from multiple platforms and then morphed into a catastrophe of an app that seems to do everything but cook dinner, which they have apparently used as an excuse to increase the rent by five times or so. Now they're extracting hundreds of dollars from my bank account every year. Run far, run fast.
Evernote keeps everything easy to find
Evernote keeps all the papers that used to pile up on and in my desk and makes them all easy to find and share.

This is a great note-taking app that helps me to organise and recall informaion well.
Managing the Knowledge and Information in my life.
I like the smooth ability to manage the Knowledge and Information in my life. From Cooking, to GTD Projects, to Personal Development, to Idea Musing - this is my go-to toll.
Optimize regular searches - machine learning
Evernote sometimes takes to long time to find information. It would be very helpful if the app could remember and prioritize searches that users performs frequently. This could save a lot of time and improve the overall search experience.
Must-have app for me
Been using Evernote for over a decade and it's been instrumental in organizing all my writing and personal notes.
Too expensive compared to competitors
I started using this tool during my university time, as the free plan was pretty good. Now the price for the whole thing is the same as Office 365 for personal usage, which offers the notes app and all the other things. Over the years, new features came to be quite useless, with some AI slop that nobody asked for.

It took me 45min to figure out how to change a template and use headings. It is definetley not user friendly.

Expensive for the simple tasks that I use it for, but I've been using for maybe 5-7 years so it's painful to leave. Desktop app is temperamental and so is the mobile app when there's no internet. I would find another solution if I was startin from scratch.

I'm becoming dissatisfied with the search capabilities, seem to be getting less accurate and less useful. I expect that search will be able to reach into PDF documents and other attachments for keywords.
Also it would be very handy to generate or propose automatic tags applied to notes, esp. scanned items.

I am a solo person who saves files for my own use. Collaboration functions are bloat for me. I also don't like AI and wish I could turn it off. And there are SO many updates. Using this on my 3 computers means I've got multiple updates regularly. I liked it more 5 years ago.
Everyone was my favorite app of 2012
Everyone was my favorite app of 2012. I absolutely loved it. Now, all I think of when Everynote comes to mind is... yet another splash screen about what has changed since I launched it last. No other app changes so much so often (or rather, no other app insists on announcing changes with such annoying frequencecy). I miss the Evernote of 2012 and I dread moving my documents to another platform, but it's inevitable.
13 year user: Everything---but ability to export
I've been using Evernote for at least 13 years now. I put most of my book ideas, comic ideas, video ideas, studies, info from important emails, pictures of important cards, some things I want to transcribe, lists, important dates, checklists, sections for organizing complex subjects, ideas, important numbers to quickly transfer to the Evernote on cell phone, tablet or PC, keep track of health numbers, and other things on Evernote, because I know that they will not disappear, will be eminently findable, and the product is not disappearing anytime soon.
It has continually made itself more useful. I would love if they could make it that I could export easily to Word or a PDF. That would truly help. This program is about the most expensive app I have, but it is also pretty close to indispensable. Please work on making the files exportable and printable. It is the one big drawback that could make me rethink using Evernote. Thank you

i hate the fonts available, and it's unreasonable to limit it SO small. i understand not having 50 fonts, but this is garbage.
the amount of updates, device limitations, etc are contributing to my frustration with Evernote. I've been loyal for 15 years and pay for it, but when i tried to use my other laptop this last week it was the biggest hassle, just to access what's already mine.
