Evernote has been useful for me regardless of what email address I had, or where I worked, or what phone I had. I am a long-time fan and I don't even use all the bells and whistles. It's a trusted pla... See more

Everyone was my favorite app of 2012
Everyone was my favorite app of 2012. I absolutely loved it. Now, all I think of when Everynote comes to mind is... yet another splash screen about what has changed since I launched it last. No other app changes so much so often (or rather, no other app insists on announcing changes with such annoying frequencecy). I miss the Evernote of 2012 and I dread moving my documents to another platform, but it's inevitable.
13 year user: Everything---but ability to export
I've been using Evernote for at least 13 years now. I put most of my book ideas, comic ideas, video ideas, studies, info from important emails, pictures of important cards, some things I want to transcribe, lists, important dates, checklists, sections for organizing complex subjects, ideas, important numbers to quickly transfer to the Evernote on cell phone, tablet or PC, keep track of health numbers, and other things on Evernote, because I know that they will not disappear, will be eminently findable, and the product is not disappearing anytime soon.
It has continually made itself more useful. I would love if they could make it that I could export easily to Word or a PDF. That would truly help. This program is about the most expensive app I have, but it is also pretty close to indispensable. Please work on making the files exportable and printable. It is the one big drawback that could make me rethink using Evernote. Thank you

i hate the fonts available, and it's unreasonable to limit it SO small. i understand not having 50 fonts, but this is garbage.
the amount of updates, device limitations, etc are contributing to my frustration with Evernote. I've been loyal for 15 years and pay for it, but when i tried to use my other laptop this last week it was the biggest hassle, just to access what's already mine.
I use it to manage work notes, store useful information, and manage projects.
It is an app that I have been using for many years. It is simple and effective to use, and I have it on all my interconnected devices. I would like it to integrate with the iOS Calendar.

I have been using Evernote for 16 years, it has been a long companion, storing my manuals, checklist, daily thoughts, random stuff, take pics, forwarding emails (which please dont try as you likely wont read it). There are some bug here and there as all software but it has been good and will continue to use it.
Downgraded to Starter to make it worth staying...
Been using Evernote for at least 10 years and have committed to sticking with it, despite the bloat and constant changes. However, I pared down my usage significantly. The jump to $24.99 and the constant addition of AI features that I don't need or want chased me off.
I took a hard look and decided to spend some time migrating most of my notes to Bear App, which feels like Evernote used to. I was able to eliminate enough tags, notebooks, and stacks to downgrade to the Starter Level and plan to give it a bit longer.
I'm using Evernote for my day-to-day notes and meeting tracking with a process for archiving off-platform to never become so dependent again.
Evernote referral
I work for serveral years with Evernote and it helps me to remember things in a structured way. Moreover Evernote invents new features all the time! I really recommend Evernote to everybody!!

Evernote used to be a wonderful app
Evernote used to be a wonderful app, prior to being bought out by Bending Spoons. Then they began to shove genAI into every facet of the app, and charge 3x the original price of the service for the "privilege". 24.99 a month? For slow loading and widgets that have a hang time in the double digits? Get over yourselves.
As a longtime user (since 2011) who does NOT want any of the AI b.s., I am being charged premium prices for a "service" I do not want. There are also numerous bugs that they are slow to fix, and the mobile app itself will simply freeze and close out if you're in another tab for too long. It is no longer a good avenue for brainstorming, because a typical usecase for me will go like this:
1. Open app,
2. Find note (search is awful, you will have to recalibrate your settings each time lest the ai powered "find by relevance" provides the most useless results you've ever seen)
3. Open desired note
4. Type type typity type
5. Hmm! I'd love to use the thesaurus in my browser!
6. /leaves the app open, switches to browser tab
7. /looks up word, returns to app with a synonym
8. The app has hung up, pretended to buffer, the document I was in previously closes in front of my eyes and punts me back to the main menu
9. Lose whatever train of though I had
10. Repeat the process to get back to the file.
Do not pay for this. The ONLY reason I am still here is because I've yet to convert + move everything over to Obsidian.
Do not use Evernote
I am tired of being Evernote's experiment. Near daily updates makes the program inconsistent and unreliable. Every week something new is broken.
The program was good years ago but now is a regrettable investment.
This review asks for a date. The experience has been continuing for years. I will put today's date.

Evernote Keeps Getting Better
Evernote got bought by a group committed to making this everything I originally thought it would be. And despite many opportunities to switch, I keep coming back, and it keeps getting better.

I really dislike the search function and being able to go back and find things I've saved is what Evernote is all about.

I have been using Evernote for many years now, it works great and I enjoy having it all synced and access to all my documentation on both Window, Mac, iPhone.
Only wish there also was a client for my Linux desktop, but the web interface does a great job also in this case :-)

too slow and expensive but did not find opportunity to switch as i have my life on it (they got me :p). But as soon as i could i will move. never understood why they insist deploying feature that we do not use and do not improve their core functions (at least for me): taking note, searching and retrieving it quick.
