I found explorer travel insurance on the internet, and have nothing but praise for this company, very informative with the emails they send to me, I had to phone them recently and I found the customer service colleague was very helpful and really helpful,
Great Customer Service, Great Company, one of the best

Easy to talk to and supportive. Had to pay an additional fare for my heart condition which was slightly lower as with my previous insurer.
All in all it was an easy experience to get my new travel insurance

Very quick and efficient service with prices far better than other quoted for holidays including a river cruise.

Ian is in regular contact with his customers and provides a far more personal service than the large insurance companies.

I've used Explorer for 5 years now and usually buy annual insurance for myself and my husband for European travel. They are very competetive for cover for pre-existing conditions. I recently contacted them with a query regarding a knee op I'm waiting for and they provided me with clear information about how that affected my insurance. Give them a try.

Always, always take out travel insurance when travelling abroad. I use a reputable company that if needed they can take control of a situation when you are in need and possibly hospitalised. Don’t take chances.

Easy to take out insurance, good price, but best of all they settled a claim in full with no quibbles. My wife hurt her wrist while abroad near the start of a month-long trip to SA. A physio visit and quick x-ray showed a fracture that might set badly if not operated on very soon. Within 4 days we got claim approval and the surgeon was able to fit a volar plate and supportive dressing so we could continue to enjoy our trip without pain or worry. The wrist healed perfectly. On our next trip I booked with Explorer again.

Used this insurance company twice now, both times went for the gold scheme. Because I travel to Australia every 2 years I looking for full cover in every aspect. Very happy with explorer cover and will continue to use them for my next trip.

Thankfully I have not had to make a claim, although I am confident if I had to everything would be sorted.
I get regular correspondence from Ian with useful tips, ideas and news of any potential change to legislation, procedures etc. They are also competitively priced and will discuss any issues you may have in a friendly professional manner.

I have been using Explorer Travel for my insurance for a number of years now, I think I have had the majority of the policies, cruise, European and worldwide, single trip, couples and annual insurance policies. I have medical issues and although I have completed the application on line I have spoken with a member of the team just to ensure I have completed it correctly. The team are always cheerful and helpful. I have never had any issues and the documents ready for download. Would highly recommend for your travel insurance.

I have trawled through umpteen travel insurance companies. I can honestly Explorer offer the SAME cover but at a MUCH BETTER PRICE. As it is a smaller company, you speak to only a handful of people, they get to know you, they are really helpful. I am extremely happy with Explorer.
