Explorer Travel Insurance Reviews 

I purchased a policy from Explorer as the price was competitive in regard to the cover I got with the policy. I will renew with them providing the price remains competitive. If it doesn’t then I will go elsewhere. I’m hoping I can stay with them but time will tell when my renewal comes up. Haven’t had to make a claim on the policy so how that’s handled is not something I can comment on at this time.

I didn't have to make a claim or anything but I can't fault my experience. Price and schedule was very reasonable, the process was intuitive and online, and I was kept up to date via email.

The person to whom I spoke to renew my policy led me through a process of reviewing my requirements which led to the offer and acceptance of a lower price than I had previously paid. The process was very clear and the person to whom I spoke was businesslike but friendly.

Spend an hour on the phone, being number one in the queue, supposedly. After one hour phone goes dead.
Cannot afford to waste anymore time on them.

The process is easy to obtain the kind of insurance you need whether short or long trips.
I have been extremely please when I renew mine each year for a long trip and they have always dealt with any insurance claims easily and fuss free. Highly reccomend.

I have been covered by explorer travel insurance for the past year and called them today to renew. I mentioned that my doctor had recently referred me to have an ADHD assessment but it wouldn’t happen for several months. The agent said: We can’t cover this or renew your policy - Goodbye. Unbelievable as I haven’t even had a diagnosis! I ended up taking out a policy with Insure and go who were cheaper anyway and much more professional and understanding.

An annual travel policy at a very good price, particularly as I am in my mid 70's. Delighted to find Ian's company, as quoted prices by other on line companies were very excessive in comparison. Useful travel tips provided on a regular basis are a handy extra. All in all completely satisfied and will continue to renew with Explorer travel for future years.

No fuss straightforward what I needed insurance at a terrifically fair price. Paperwork sent electronically and good communications and useful need to know updates. What more can you ask if your travel insurance provider. So I will be covering my next trip with Ian’s team! 😁

I was online looking for holiday insurance and found Explorer. Only a few clicks and few questions and that was done.

Excellent travel insurance, competitively priced especially if you have health issues and are over 70 .

I have now bought two annual policies from Explorer Travel insurance, I have a few medical issues and Ian has provided a reasonable quote each time. Thankfully I’ve never had to claim, but I’m sure his service would be just as professional as his daily emails are.
