We have seen Express Bi-folding doors working in Edinburgh many times over the years, usually when a high end property developer is building something new or renovating apartments. They also advertise on the local buses.

Planning our own major renovation soon, we decided to make the trip from Edinburgh to the showroom in Glasgow and we were not disappointed.

The showroom has more than bi folding doors, they have windows, front doors, sky lights and cool tech to accompany these products (lighting and blinds etc) we had a good look around, it is really impressive.

They have built / staged how the products will looks in your new kitchen / dining room, play room, home office and extension, it is very clever.

Attention to detail and quality products all over, we spend around and hour looking around.

One of their team called Jack helped explain what our options were, demonstrated how the products worked and offered a free quote.

After visiting this place and speaking to Jack we can’t wait to ask them to help with a quote, to survey, installation, full confidence in their products, service and after sales support if we need it.

They also install their products making it easier for us and probably most builders.

Worth making the trip to go and see them, to see how they can help if you need one set of doors or many.

We are so happy with our doors and the service we received from Express. The doors are of excellent quality and the pre and after service has been exceptional. We would like to thank Donna in the after sales team, for her fantastic service and also Callum for his patience and support. I would highly recommend this company.

Have been waiting since end of June to have glass panel replaced in my door.
Have had several instillation dates but they keep cancelling.
Have tried to cancel and get a refund but was told by them under T&Cs they will not do this!
I find this strange as if they cancel the order they can 🤨
Would advise anyone looking at instillation to go with another company

Visited showroom. 33% deposit for bi fold doors. Paid. Home visit followed with a basic tick box and written statement “survey”. At this point I wanted sliding doors and they quoted additional £650 plus VAT essentially for a cheaper door. So then you’re bought in, blocked either way into paying or large cancellation fee of £275 plus vat for a very basic “survey” that 99% of other companies do free. Over inflated survey and tactical overcharging. That’s my experience. Would not recommend.

To reply to your response, it’s not £210 either it’s actually £250 plus vat as per my correspondences from yourselves if you’d like to revisit your emails. The survey is poor and not worth the cost and as I said, you’re bought in to any subsequent over inflation 🤨

Our integrated blinds in 3 x bifold doors were installed 8 years ago by express bi-folding doors. We’ve been so, so pleased with them and regularly open the doors fully in the summer to get that inside out feel! We had a tiny problem recently with the remote for the blinds stopping working but the after sales team have been beyond superb in helping rectify the situation. Amazing - can’t be faulted. A highly recommended company and we would definitely use them again. Don’t think about it - just book it!

Contacted them after the lock gearbox broke on doors supplied Dec 2022. Up until that point I had been satisfied with the doors. The doors were jammed shut and could not be opened, a professional locksmith was needed. In summary, Express agreed to pay for local locksmith to provide replacement lock as that would be cheaper than sending their crew from Leeds and there was no problem mentioned regarding guarantee/ warranty if it was a fault with the lock. They also said their own people were unavailable within a reasonable timeframe. (Anyway it is a Consumer Rights issue as the lock failure is a breach of contract as the goods have prematurely failed, failed to be durable, and free from minor defects - ie. a perfectly valid claim). New lock fitted by local locksmith a couple of weeks ago. Cost after ordering lock - so he had to come twice - is a very reasonable total of £156.00. Express have since deployed a variety of changing excuses and avoidance tactics on grounds not mentioned earlier and are refusing to pay. Locksmith confirms the lock was defective and had broken internally. The company have failed to stand by their commitment / undertaking to reimburse me, and their Managing Director Mr Bromberg states he is 'confused' by my very clear cogent emails and is apparently willing to sidestep and ignore the commitment made by his own staff. It seems everything is fine until there is a problem and then they are not interested. Their August 2024 published accounts show a turnover exceeding £31million.

I had sliding doors fitted around 7 years ago and they are still like new. Good experience with the sales team.

Delighted with Express Bi-fold, especially Donna B in the After Sales team! She was brilliant at understanding the issues we had with our glass roof units, took the stress away from me and organised the entire replacement, from arranging for a scaffold tower, the installation team and new units. We had replacement units made in the timescales she had set and the installation team, Steve and Roman were exceptional on the day, installing swiftly and neatly. No clean up required after they'd finished! We then had a subsequent issue with one of our bi-fold doors sticking just a tiny bit (first time in 10 years!) Again, Donna arranged for an engineer, Jonathan to attend within two weeks of me contacting her and he was brilliant. It is so wonderful to deal with friendly people who have experience and knowledge, it just fills you with confidence. All of this after 10 years since our extension was installed. Cannot thank them enough. Thanks to Donna, Gillian, Roman, Steve and Jonathan. Total stars and a real credit to Express!

We had doors fitted over ten years ago by express bi-folding doors. They've been maintenance free apart from a small clip that needed replacing recently. The aftersales team have been really helpful. We couldn't be happier with the product and service.

We had Bi Folds fitted 14 years ago, and cannot fault them at all, they haven't missed a beat.
I contacted Express after the plastic retaining clip to hold the single opening door snapped (after 14 years!).
Next day a free of charge replacement arrived, really cannot fault that at all - Thanks!

Excellent service from Express bifold. Donna on the phone helped so much by arranging a maintenance appointment that worked around our schedule, and the maintenence engineer was excellent. Thanks so much for grest customer service and for our beautiful bifold, we love it. I can highly recommend this company to you.

After about 8 years of use, a spring broke in one of the handles on our doors (probably our rough handling). However Lawrence in After Sales immediately sent 2 replacements ( in case the other handle went as well), without charge.
