My experience has been somewhat disappointing, from the start, considering the cost of approx 11k for the slim line sliding door
1. I had been informed
of date and time for the initial survey so had my builder on site,only to find out having chased the company that he hadn’t even left the Leeds site when i chased them up and therefore he was late by approx 4 hours my builder wasn’t happy,

2. The Day of installation i was informed there was a problem with the profile, but they could install, but would not be completed on the day, installation guys were very good and organised and clean
Having chased the company several times for a date that they would return i was told it would not be within the next 4-6 weeks, consequently i had a rear door that i felt was unsafe for a number of weeks until they returned to complete the job
Finally today the work is completed, but once agin poor communication, fitters turned up late,I had to chase them up. (we all have mobile phones to keep in touch)
All in all not a great experience 😩

Start to finish great communication, service was exceptional .Unbelievable price for the quality of the work, every one I spoke too at Express were very helpful.

BUYERS BEWARE !
Our bi-fold window smashed on the inside, in a locked room while we were away. There was no external factor involved.
Express Bi-fold have vigorously defended that is has nothing to do with them, and their only involvement has been to try and sell another bi-fold at full market value to further profit from the smash.

Terrible customer service. They even lied saying they had reviewed our video of the damage, when they hadn't even bothered to review it.

We certainly didn't expect this shocking service.

From visiting the showroom to the installation of both sets of sliding doors and beyond, our experience has been first class. The process from visiting the showroom in Leeds and placing the order with Dominic was extremely enjoyable. Thereafter, the technical support provided to us to during the survey visit and to understand the 'builders work' pre-install was great. When the install date came along, the installation team were very experienced and their attention to detail during the install and handover was superb. Andy who manages the install guys was extremely accessible and helpful in planning and installing both sets of doors. The quality of our aluminium sliding doors is simply class. We are delighted with the whole experience and the people we've met throughout the process and can highly recommend Express Bi Folding Doors.

My experience has been brilliant from the start, when visiting the Leeds Showroom until the finished product. EBF gave excellent support from the beginning of project until the doors and roof lantern were fitted.
The surveyor who came out for the pre installation house visit was able to assist our builder to ensure our requirements were met. The installation guys were brilliant. The customer service team have been excellent and helpful.
The doors are top quality with a modern sleek look.

We have been a customer of Express Bi-Folding Doors since 2019. We recently had a problem with one of the switch contacts for one of the sets of blinds.
I spoke with Danny Pickering in the Leeds office. After a quick diagnosis and a few photographs to confirm the part needed, Danny sent out the replacement switch contacts the next day.

We had our doors fitted about 5 years ago, they have been perfect but one of the rubber seals has split and come off.
I phoned and spoke to Ciaran after a brief conversation, I sent an email with photos and within 2 days the new seal was with me.
Brilliant service

We had sliding doors fitted and are happy with them. When one of the panels came off from mishandling (by ourselves), Daniel Pickering was very helpful and arranged for an urgent repair, at no cost (warranty for 10 years and call out charges after 5 years).

We have had a good result from using Express Bifolds to supply our new sliding doors and rooflight window. The result looks very smart and the company delivered how they said they would.

I would partcicularly like to thank the aftersales team. I had an issue with the doors not locking properly when they got hot in the sun - the company sent someone to help me. When my builders had trouble removing a protective film from the rooflight window, the aftersales team also helped me out with removing it. Thanks everyone!

i have ordered bio folding doors , declan was very helpful in providing me details of the product xp10, and then i had a lovely agent called Mark who came to do my survey and was very helpful giving me all the details of sizes, in that time i was speaking another person in accounts called beverly was very helpful, also i got my doors installed today and the fitters were so good and did a brilliant job , with my final payment i spoke to another lovely chap called ciaran he was also very helpful, i would definitely recommend express bio fold doors my experience has been very good from start to finish no messing about.

A big thank you to Scott for coming over on the day we reported a problem with the lock. He was very friendly, helpful, tidy and got it sorted straight away.

We just had replacement Bi-fold Blind units fitted on our Express Bi Folding doors and they look fabulous. Curtis did a fantastic job , also he cleaned the windows which are gleaming. Fantastic job and great Service thank you so much well pleased. 😊. Ref : 30055 - Curtis

Waited 6 weeks for the fitting of the large bi fold doors when they came the doors were the wrong size and had to be taken back . The fitters left the house exposed to the elements of the winter months which went on for a further 4 weeks . There was issues with a broken a glass in another part of the order a French Door which took several visits to fix. The whole experience was not what it should have been. They offered no compensation for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this company .

very helpful company and easy to deal with

We have been long time customers of BiFold and they have been great pre and post sales. The windows and doors have stood the test of time. We've had a few engineers out for various maintenance issues and Scott has been fantastic, always looking for a satisfactory resolution. Donna Briggs also deserves a mention for always delivering top quality customer service. A solid firm, team and we would highly recommend!

I can unreservedly recommend this company. We purchased bifold doors, windows and a front door a few years ago. When we needed a replacement part last week, within hours of contacting the company, Donna in after sales got in touch to say that the part was in the post and would arrive the following day.

I have purchased quite a few units from this company in the past and have been pleased with them in most respects. Recently I have had some glazing that has failed however it’s no fault of anyone’s and unfortunately it has fallen out of the warranty period. Donna Briggs a senior team member has done her utmost to help and offer me solutions to get it remedied at minimum costs including thinking “outside the box” Which has given me many more options to consider. Thank you for not trying the “sell” and looking out for the best interests of your clients. Undoubtedly it will lead to further business….

Great customer service from the time we placed the order, delivery and after sales.

Spoke to Danny Pickering who sent out our replacement part and was very helpful a credit to this company. Much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Since I wrote the below review, I was contacted by the manager Dan Legg, and my experience of the service supplied has change significantly for the better. I have not purchased yet, but the customer service is now excellent.

What’s the point of an appointment
Can’t pass a comment on the quality of the product but I had booked an appointment for yesterday at the Weybridge site. When I arrive, there were two employees dealing with other people, no-one to say hello, please wait etc (although they did have a coffee machine I used). I waited 30 mins, had a look around and not one single contact from a rep.
If this is the honeymoon phase of the relationship, I was super unimpressed.
I did try to call them on the day to confirm, but no answer on the phone and no answer phone available.
Last comment… honest… I work in the service industry and it’s not difficult to manage expectations, even when things do immediately go to plan.

From visiting the showroom, speaking to professionals, the surveyor’s home visit and installation guys… all did a fab job. Thank you.
