I had a Dunlop blu responses tyre fitted .

I had a brand new tyre tyre fitted here just over a year ago . But in just after one year , it has failed the MOT as it had ply or cords exposed and in a really poor condition . This was after under 10,000 miles of use . (My other three tyres were bought and fitted somewhere else and are still in great state) won’t be going again .

Very nice experience, work was very reasonably priced, had a full service done on my Jag along with some other stuff, very happy with work.

The service was most excellent and the working performance of my vehicle now is extremely good. I received a very great reception, their customer service was very satisfactory as I had good mannered gentlemen worked on my vehicle, very polite, etiquette with professionalism. I couldn’t have chosen a better company to work on my vehicle than FORMULA ONE. A great company with reputation and excellence at all time. Service cost is also very affordable. Infact, Formula one is simply the best among most automobile companies in the UK. I’m extremely grateful for a job well done. Many thanks to everyone involved.

False advertising company offering same day service in partnership with Asda Tyres that is not backed by systems to reserve ‘real’ appointments with them. To top it off, had the same issue booking for next day appointment, rejected by them, relying on customers to have all the time in the world to get their tyres changed around the company’s schedule! How convenient! Absolute joke of a service!

Cowboys. DO NOT USE. Cost £600 for MOT and to apply clamp to exhaust as emissions failed. Just over a week exhaust falls off. They take no blame and charge another £360 to fit new exhaust. They say ware and tare. If it was eroded that bad why did they try to fix it in the first place when doing initial repairs. Should have just installed new one, common sense surely. They probably caused the issue by messing about with the exhaust otherwise why would it fall off so soon after. Dodgy company. Would never use again. Beware

Two recent events led me to this positive 5-star review.

The first, a massive screw found its way into one of our tires which we purchased from them. It didn't have a flat but was close to being one. They got us in straight away and removed the screw, made sure it didn't do any damage and sent us on our way safe and sound, without having to pay. Because we purchased our tyres previously from them and the brand Churchill is covered under this.

The second event is similar to the 1st. A massive nail punctured our front tyre. They got us in quickly, removed said nail, and repaired the flat. Check it was all safe and sound and sent us on our way, again, without charging us due to the tyres we purchased from them previously.

For anyone looking to buy tyres, paying that little extra for Churchill from them is definitely worth it.

Excellent care and attention.

Phoned at lunchtime for the next day , said I would pop over late afternoon and leave it for the next day .but they fitted it in there and then saving me time for the next day . Really appreciated it friendly helpful guys

F1 autocentres-Basildon
Using them for the first time. Change both rear tyres.
They have started working in the car 30+ minutes after the original booking but with a clear explanation without me having to ask. They have add some problems to remove one overtight alloy secure locking nut and again they came to me first before applying extra strength that could cause any damage. Very good attention to detail as they have noticed that one brake pad spring was missing in one side and kindly have highlighted to me (brakes were not included in the booking).
All service was completed in about 35 minutes and ended with some advices and an apology for the small waiting at the beginning .
I am very happy with all the service in general and will use them again in the future.
Definitely I can recommend them.

Absolutely amazing service at the Basildon branch. Richard went the extra mile to sort out my car and in record time! The guys are all super helpful and always take the time to explain everything and suggest solutions. Always feel like my care is in safe hands with this lot. won't be going anywhere else!

Best garage I have been to, very comfortable to wait for a mot. Reception guy was super helpful and polite. Will be a long term customer from now on.

Use this company often in Paycocke Road, Basildon. Service is always outstanding, but on this occasion they went ever higher in customer care, I needed a tyre replacement in an emergency and had to be replaced same day, they didn’t have the tyre in stock, so the employee John personally drove to Southend and back to pick up the tyre I needed and it was fitted the same day! Absolutely outstanding service and going above and beyond to help a customer in need. Highly recommend these guys 10/10. Thanks John you’re a life saver

Dropping of was easy and stress free, staff were friendly and helpful
I got a call about a slight mot fail and they went out of their way to get it sorted and it wasn’t out of my budget
I picked up car and it is running so smoothly it feels like brand new

Booked in a mot with this centre, having used Formula 1 before in a different area I thought I would try this one.

Mot carried out on a Saturday, and after testing my Vw Golf they found some defects that needed urgently.

Brake pipe corroded and handbrake needed adjustment. Every year or every other year my car needs at least something done as its 20 years old now.

My car has had loads of work done over the years and I always get the repairs done promptly.

I asked these guys for a quote to fix the faults they found, they didn’t have anyone available to come up with a quote. Bit inconvenient since Im already at your garage and expecting someone to know surely. Ask for me to come back during the week. Which I couldnt do as I would be working.

So had to take my car elsewhere for the repairs, I had the brake pipe replaced and rear brake disks and pads replaced. Also handbrake was adjusted to spec.

Brought back my car to them Tuesday evening, and it only needed a partial retest. 20 mins later they come back and tell me its still failed.

So they say what exactly have I done to carry out the repairs. Everything you noted on the major list was changed and adjusted. Another Mot garage also checked it before I brought it back to you for a retest.

You claim my brake pipe was not allowed to be copper! Its allowed and they sell that for new cars as well, and its approved British Standard. No brake leaks was found. The other garage let me come under the car and inspect myself!

Handbrake now holds the car firmly and brakes stop the car in the recommend time. I really dont know what the problem was with me taking my car elsewhere for the repairs, but you was trying to make up that my car still needed repairs after I had already paid another garage.

It has since been taken to another mot garage and they have passed it no problem.

Please do not use this garage as they clearly don't like you having your car repaired somewhere else and will fail you for the same thing even if you fixed it.

Chris at F1 autocentres in Basildon went out of his way to help me get my tyre sorted today called up and spoke to another guy but didn’t catch his name who ordered it for me at around 10am was in store and being fitted by 4pm much better price than I could find elsewhere aswell. Will 100% recommend to anyone! Could not fault the service I received today.

Great service and more importantly trustworthy

My Mot failed on cracked wheel. Manged to get it fixed just thought I would pop in f1 to book an re mot and they said bring it in and they will do it straight away . It was nearly closing time . Absolute legends nothing was a problem stamped my book for the work done. Fantastic attitude and such nice people to talk too and so helpful. Can't thank them enough for making my mot journey a breeze . Would 💯 recommend basildon Formula 1

I went in for oil and filter change Basildon branch. Had no idea my not too old front tyres were wearing with tracking out. Thanks Brandon for spotting and doing a great job! Totally recommend getting servicing here as the guys are genuine, good technicians and take a pride in their work!

I had an issue with a supplier sending the incorrect tyres to F1 Autocentres and although not something they should have to deal with. F1 couldn't have been more helpful in contacting the suppliers and organising a new fitting date and time.

Been there a few times now and always been helpful, friendly and solved any problems I've had.
