I had never used this garage before, as I don't live in Cirencester, but I was driving alone nearby and heard a big twang sound. I have no idea about cars and didn't know what to do. I managed to drive myself around the corner and found formula one. When I got there I explained to Steve, who turned out to be the manager, what had happened and asked if he could help in any way. I wasn't sure if I could drive home and I was stuck without my family. Steve was very kind to me. He told me I could go in the customer waiting area where the heating was on and there was a TV with the news on. He put the car up on a ramp and figured out my back suspension spring had snapped. He explained it all to me, did a quote which he printed out so I could contact my husband and explain what we needed doing. Unfortunately I couldn't get hold of my husband and didn't know when we could get the car into the garage. Steve reassured me that I could drive carefully on it and make a decision about what to do next, once I was at home and could speak to my husband. I find it tricky going into car garages (I don't usually have to do it) and talking about something I know nothing about, with strangers. It feels a very vulnerable situation as your car has broken in some way and you are hoping the strangers you are talking to will not take advantage. Well I just wanted to say that I felt so well looked after by Steve. He was kind, knowledgeable and did not put any pressure on me. I'm very grateful for the help he gave me. The other mechanic who was there that day was also a very lovely guy.

Steve went out of his way to help me when my tyre was damaged by a pothole. I needed to get to a very important appointment and he was an absolute godsend. Many thanks to Formula one.

Had a front mount and coil fitted on my Clio. wheel alignment included.

My wife's Fiat 500 was in for an MOT and failed due to a break issue. Steve and the team sorted the sticky drum, and got us back on the road. Great service and a good chat about learning old tech (drum break maintenance)!

All the staff at Formula One were brilliant. I didn’t get all there names but Ashley & Steve were both very friendly and very informative which is reassuring when you don’t fully understand cars! They went out of their way to fix my car as soon as possible after originally getting me in last minute on a Sunday too. They also made sure it was the best price possible as well. Highly recommend these guys!

Your guys got me out of a sticky situation on my holiday just before closing today, I can’t thank these 2 guys enough for helping me out at short notice when other tyre firms in the area couldn’t be bothered to help me. My memory is not the best and I think the guys names are Ryan and Alistair (sorry if I’ve got this wrong). I run a garage in Bristol and I’d love to employ both these guys. Contacted F1 in Cirencester. The lovely Steve could have ripped me off tbh but instead he was extremely helpful and gave me some advice about going back to the other car garage and asking about the warantee on the part fitted to my car. Thank you Steve. Forever grateful

Recently used Formula One Autocentres Cirencester to change my four wheels and have them aligned. They pushed the appointment back three times as they were so poorly organised. When they got round to dealing with my car they lost the wheel nut and couldn't do anything. I checked it was there before I dropped the car off! They denied any responsibility. I had to drive to Cheltenham to buy a replacement wheel nut from the car manufacturer. An absolute shambles of a garage - they do not have a clue it seems. I am having to rebook elsewhere to have my tracking redone as I don't trust they've done a good job and only had it on the machine for 10 minutes. I would urge to avoid this garage at all costs.

I went in to get a rattle sound diagnosed and fixed. I was told I needed a new exhaust from middle box cat to back. I went to pick up the car after it was "fixed" and nothing had changed the car was still rattling the same. I was charged a ridiculous amount.

I went back to be told that it was actually the vacuum pump. And this didn't need to be changed yet it was just rattling not broken.

I questioned why I paid that much for a part that didn't fix what I came in for. They said the bracket was corroding on my exhaust.

I only needed a new bracket not a whole new exhaust.

I was therefore charged a stupid amount for something I didn't need.

No refund offered at all. Complaint being made and trading standards being spoken too.

I recently took my mums car into the Cirencester branch to have a flat tyre changed. The manager, Mike, could not have been more helpful. We were in a bit of bother trying to find somewhere to change it, but Mike was more than happy to help, he got us in as quickly as possible and changed the tyre. He saved our day! He was extremely accommodating to help us! Customer service is always key and as a result of the service we received, we will use Formula One going forward. Thank you Mike!

Unfortunately I'm let down by one member of staff. The general man on the front desk was very nice and helpful. The technician on the other hand had a complete disrespect for peoples property.

I had 2 new tyres fitted to the front of my car and when the chap reversed my car out I can only guess that he turned the traction control off and the he wheel spun it into a parking space. The moron doesn’t deserve a job there and well done for earning your place of work 1 star!

I arrived 8 mins late for my slot to a large almost empty garage apart from one car being worked on, the man behind the counter said he would have to cancel my slot and was abrupt pretty rude about it, I don't like working Saturdays either but it's not my fault that he is, I think his manner was not right for serving behind a counter! I will not be in a rush to go in again.

Avoid avoid avoid!
My wheel nut locking was damaged and they said it was damaged before it got there. They also told the company that booked with (blackcircles also avoid them) that they advised me before that it was broken. That is a lie as it was left in the passenger seat and the keys with the mechanic. After 2.5h I came to collect my car and they said “we try to contact you but we have got the wrong number (blackcircles provided wrong number) we couldn’t do it due to the wheel nut locking been damage. We try but we didn’t want to force it. To my surprise now I have to get a new one that it’s going to cost me £125!!! Please avoid, lack of customer service and also if you use them take photos of everything before giving the car to them!
