absolute blinding service from Gary and the mechanic, car now goes in a straight line and is so much safer with the new tyres on, very quick and efficient at a great price too.

Gary was very helpful over the phone before I even came in. Explained all the options before starting the job. Tyre repaired and back on the road in less than 30 mins! Great advice given about other tyres aswell, I'll be returning to get them done here too.

I called the guys at around 12 after failing my mot at another garage and they managed to order in the parts and get it sorted and done another MOT on it in just 6 hours and they were very friendly and sorted out my car easily and they’ve got themselves a customer for life

Diagnosed and fixed a faulty exhaust system and brakes. Friendly, reasonable prices (finance available) and good workmanship. Recommended.

My last review was terrible for the Eastbourne branch, and will not use again.
I had work done by Newhaven branch to solve my previous Eastbourne issues (which I didn't review on)

Since then I have been back to Newhaven branch and Garry has been a diamond at sorting my car out, and doing exactly what he said he would.

Sonik is a really great at resolving issues and very polite

Cancelled my MOT 24 hours before with no new dates for two weeks

I was on my way back from dropping the wife off in Brighton just got to Rottingdean when a Ambulance roared up behind me and turned his siren in my hurry to move over i cliped the kerb and burst my nearside front tyre, After shopping around for my tyre size i came accross "Formula one Autocentre Newhaven" Who had my size tyre in stock and could supply and install as soon as i got there,Excellent service.

I usually avoid big chains for work on my car, but I’ve always had good quality workmanship and service with formula one Newhaven.

This time I had an MOT and it was easy, simple and accommodating. Great value for money too.

I’ve taken both of my vehicles to Gary and his crew over the past couple of years and they have treated me with kindness and at times empathy over mechanical issues. This is a rare quality to find in the mechanic and especially MOT based sector. They truly do all they can to make sure you understand why work needs to be carried out and do all they can to pass on any savings.
I know my vehicle is in safe hands and recommend to as many people as I can to swing by if they are having car problems or just need a regular service / MOT

Having driven from Folkestone to East Sussex for business, I was not amused to get a puncture....100 miles from home.

I knew I was in trouble as my tyre is large and unlikely to be a stock item with any tyre centre but I headed for the nearest one just in case.

This was the F1 Autocentre in Newhaven.

The team member that helped me, Hayley, was very courteous, helpful and professional.

My tyre could not be repaired safely - and the team would not bow to mild pressure from me to repair it at my risk.

They did not have my tyre in stock, so Hayley kindly phoned a couple of local competitors to check their stock, just in case.

In the end, she was good enough to replace the wheel with my space saver, and whilst that meant a tortuous working day and a long journey home at no more than 50mph, I was safe and there was to be no damage to my car.

In an age when customer service is often an inconvenient after thought, it is so refreshing when one comes across a business that do actually care.

Hayley and her team represent F1 Autocentres impeccably and in the highly unlikely event I had the chance to employ her in one of my businesses I would do so without any hesitation.
