Very friendly and efficient staff at Shrewsbury Office.
Notified me straight away when car was ready.
Was able to book car straight in for an exhaust replacement after being let down by Halfords.
Will use again.

Been twice recently, once for a loose under tray and the second time was after hitting a pothole and knocking out the alignment. I dropped in both times without a booking and they sorted the issues straight away. They didn’t even charge me to reattach the under tray. Will definitely be going back.

Arrived in real emergency on christmas eve was greeted by Lee, who was friendly, helpful and he and his team had us back on road in 15 minutes!

I had a slow puncture and called in to Formula One Shrewsbury. ( after having tried two other tyre shops who couldn’t have cared less or even bothered to look at my tyre.)Formula One looked at my car straight away and managed to order me a replacement tyre the same day. They couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. I am very grateful and would highly recommend them- Thank you

Well what can I say, from the moment I telephoned for a quote for the repair, to the quick timeframe of the work being carried out, just amazing. Such a refreshing change to have the team at Formula One Autocentre in Shrewsbury, deal with you in a friendly, caring, courteous way. I will not hesitate to use their services again for my car repairs, tyres or MOT. Not forgetting they are reasonable with their charges. Thank you again.

F1 Autocentres Shrewsbury. Manager friendly and professional. However, and this has happened twice now and a few friends report the same. Wheels totally out of balance after fitting new tyres despite paying more for their “premium balancing” which kinda set alarm bells ringing. What on earth would standard balancing be like?

Went to a more professional garage who told me they hadn’t even balanced the wheels. I didn’t even bother going back to them.

So to conclude the manager is good. But they need to improve the calibre of their tyre fitters as they’re obviously employing jokers.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from Formula One Auto Centre. We had booked a service and MOT for our car well in advance, only to be called at the last minute and told that our appointment was cancelled because the MOT staff member had gone off sick long-term. With just a few days left on our MOT, we were left completely stranded, with no offer to rebook or transfer us to another location. When we asked if there was anywhere else available, the response was to "try ringing them."

As NHS frontline community service worker, i rely heavily on having a roadworthy car, and this last-minute cancellation has caused a huge inconvenience. Now, we are scrambling to find a new garage to complete the service and MOT last minute, which will likely increase the overall cost. Formula One Auto Centre really left us out to dry and showed no willingness to help resolve the situation. Terrible customer service and a huge letdown.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone going forward absolutely not a care in the world.

DO NO USE THIS GARAGE This company told me my tracking was out when I had two new tyres fitted to the rear of my BMW 420d costing approx. £200 per tyre 14months ago and 7,000 miles travelled since the fitting. They said it would cost another £85 as the tracking was way out! So I paid for my two new tyres and had the tracking done as suggested. At the time whilst watching the tracking been done the guy said he was going to take the tracking to the limit and it probably need more really, which I found quiet extraordinary! When I took my BMW to have a service 14months and 7,000 miles after my purchase at F1 Tyres, I was told all 4 tyres were bald! The front tyres had only been on 19 months. I was shocked that that all four tyres had worn out so quickly ...The car is nearly seven years old and has completed 39,000 these were the first tyres purchased since new! I contacted F1 autocentre and had a reply four days later with a lot of waffle it was not there fault and would not be paying any compensation. £1000 later and my car drives like new completed by a good garage .STAY CLEAR do not go to this garage.

Excellent service, booked my car in online for an MOT, appointment was confirmed via email. Car failed the MOT, but they were able to get the work done on the same day and get me back on the road!.

I bought a new tyre. The guy who put the tyre on told me that the wheel was cracked which was the likely cause of a slow puncture. He said he had put extra sealant to hold the crack but that it would need welding.
I was not warned that driving on this tyre was dangerous and would also cause damage to the new tyre. The wheel with new tyre was put on my car. This subsequently lost air and had to be replaced with the spare. When i returned to get the tyre removed so i could have the wheel welded elsewhere, i was informed i had to buy another new tyre as the first one was ruined. The manager openly reprimanded the guy who did the job in the first place. He then went on to charge me again, despite my protestations.
A written complaint did not result in any concern for any danger, nor an apology or redress.
The company is not a part of an ombudsman scheme to address inadequate response to complaints.
I have used them before & they are a friendly team, but obviously when things go wrong their customer service rates zero.

Took my car for its MOT but it failed because of a wiper blade, was charged £42 for this. I feel this was very expensive when the actual cost was £15.50. I know they have to make money but that’s ridiculous

Good price on tyres. They arrived early and were fitted swiftly. Very helpful team. Will definitely use Shrewsbury branch again.

Hilo checked the price and found ats was over £10 cheaper as f1 don't show the brand. But the service was quick and good

OUTSTANDING customer service from both Adam and Kirby. Adam is a friendly approachable manager who knows how to treat his customers well. Kirby is a first rate mechanic who takes the time to explain the work that is being done. To be honest we cannot rate them highly enough
So glad we found them!

Booked online for air con re-gas. Arrived at the garage and they only supply the old gas, hence the cheaper price. Very helpful at the garage to advise on where I could go for the correct gas (Sadly the new gas was twice as expensive!) Garage weren’t able to process refund as had been done online via PayPal so tried to call but after 5mins of waiting there was no answer so I sent an email instead where the ever so helpful Julie Lahiffe answered within minutes to say I would get my refund back in my PayPal account within a few hours. She was so prompt I honestly didn’t think it would be that easy!

Took this branch (Shrewsbury) to court for surgically cutting the steering rubber gaiter and subsequently failing the MOT. We won because we presented the court with written evidence from another technician. The judge found in our favour and we were awarded the relevant compensation and costs. I have heard that the technician and manager involved were duly sacked and that the branch will soon be closed. Please take note that head office denied everything all the while!

Had an issue with oil sump plug and Adam and the team sorted it out with in minutes. They also helped with my exhaust. Such a great place to get stuff done and good prices.
