I have been using Famileo for several years now. I sent it to both my parents in their care homes, but now I just send the magazine to my in-laws. It's a fantastic way to keep family up-to-date, different from both a phone call, email or WhatsApp, because the magazine format allows for the reader to go back to look at it again and again. In fact, I send our Famileo gazette by WhatsApp to other family and friends, which keeps us in touch with even more people, but my husband's parents benefit from the hard copy. They have quite an archive, as do we, as I print out each gazette. I enjoy looking at the old ones myself.
Because it is a regular subscription, with timely reminders, you can't forget to stay in touch, and show your loved ones what you've been doing or seeing. It has actually shaped how I behave in a way, because I am always on the lookout for Famileo-worthy items to include, which increases a positive mindset for me as well.
My late parents both had dementia, living in a different city from me, during lock-down. I think Famileo allowed them to feel that their family were thinking of them when we were not able to see them. My in-laws are not in the same position, but still like to see what their son and his family have been doing.
I genuinely enjoy creating the little magazine, and I am quite evangelical about it! My friends all expect me to take pictures of any outings we go on, and to see themselves featured.
I cannot recommend Famileo too highly!

Such a unique service and creates such a lovely thing for my granny to have - she loves receiving them every month. App interface is really good and doesn't crash and such a good price for a simple product

It brings a lot of pleasure to our 98 year old mother. It's easy to complete and good value for money.

This was done as a way to keep my parents in touch with myself, their grandchildren and great grandchildren. We did it as a gift and they loved it so much they asked us to do it again. They love seeing all the family and feeling part of their lives, what they are doing and how fast the little ones are growing.

My sister-in-law found Famileo & suggested it as a gift to my mom. We’ve been using it since Dec 2021 - and it’s simply the best. Mom is in full time care with family spread around the world. We’ve tried digital frames (good - but we often fail to maintain content), regular calls (video tech is too complicated for mom) but the Famileo newsletter always hits right. Bright, clear photos. Easy-to-read text and in a printed format that mom can enjoy & show to friends, visitors and nursing staff. The app interface is easy to use - and keeps us up to date with each other as well. I highly recommend!

This is such a great thing. Mum loves receiving the journal and it is a great keepsake. Capturing the lovely memories. It's like a picture journal of our year for us all to look back on.

Famileo is such an amazing present! My Gran absolutely loves it, she looks forward to receiving the magazine every single month, and it gives all of us a chance to keep up with what everybody is doing. The app is really easy to use, and the quality of the magazines is brilliant, I also like that you can download digital copies so everyone can access them!

Famileo is a joy. Simple to use and a wonderful way of capturing our family news. I think the family as a whole get more out of it than my 89 year old mum but she also loves it.

Famileo has been brilliant for our family. Our grandad really looks forward to the magazine each month and showing us his collection when we go to visit. It has also brought the wider family closer together as we can keep up with each other's news as the magazine is built over the month. Invaluable.

Our family lives across the US and we created a Famileo gazette for our 94 year old parents. They are overjoyed to receive monthly printed gazettes. We have become accustomed to sharing family photos and events online and we neglected to understand how very important printed photos are to the oldest members of the family. Famileo lets the rest of us share the same photos in our typical fashion online. Perfect.

What a wonderful concept. My mom my aunt and uncle wait for their gazette and read it over and over. A fine alternative for printing your pictures yourself and mailing them to your loved one who does not navigate computers. An efficient format and platform. Thank you for putting the internet at the service of the elderly and supporting family dynamics and helping spreading love. Been using for three years, love it.
