They Ruined My Anniversary and Blamed Me for It
I ordered flowers from Farmgirl a full week in advance for our anniversary. They were scheduled to arrive Friday. It’s now Sunday—no flowers, no apology, no solution.
Their response? “You didn’t purchase Route insurance, so we’re not responsible.”
So let me get this straight: I paid them to deliver flowers. They didn’t deliver. And it’s my fault for not paying extra just in case they dropped the ball? That’s absurd.
No refund. Just a halfhearted offer for store credit—which, frankly, is useless. Why would I ever trust them again after they completely ruined a special occasion and took zero responsibility?
Their customer service showed no urgency, no empathy, and no accountability. This is not a premium brand. It’s a gamble with your time, money, and emotions.
Farmgirl Flowers had one job. They failed. Don't risk your special moment on a company that hides behind fine print and insurance add-ons. You deserve better.

Always been a go-to place for my flowers. The service has been good and amazing
Scam, horrible, dead flowers
My brother passed away last week and I received flowers last from my company and from many others. These flowers from Farmgirl flowers were the worst I have ever seen or received in my life. Half of them were already dead and after 24 hours all were dead. The other arrangements that I have on my table that I received the same day or even before are all still alive and absolutely beautiful and from different companies. Do not waste your money. The flowers are horrible quality and this company is scamming you and should be out of business.

The flowers look nothing like the photos. I understand that there will be differences, but goodness it's night and day. It was so bad I ended up buying new flowers in a different shop so I had something presentable to give to my mother.
Inconsistent and unreliable
I ordered flowers for Mothers Day. I requested they be delivered a day early just because I am aware of Farmgirl Flowers inability to deliver flowers on time. They have a nice product, however they have consistently shown their inablility to delivery in a timely manner. To my surprise, a day early simply wasn't enough. After checking the tracking on UPS, I can now see that they will be delivered 2 days late. This is no longer a decent company to use. Their lack of caring for their customers has been overtaken by their greed. Use a company thay cares.
Awesome Job Ladies!
Susan and staff created a unique creation to send to our out-of-state family in our honor. A pleasure to deal with , and a picture was sent to me for approval before we were charged. A wonderful florist to do business with!
If I could give this a zero I would
If I could give this a zero I would. I bought peonies for delivery for a 20th birthday. They are so under-ready that no amount of soaking is going to save these. The vase I bought to go along with the gift did not arrive. It is embarrassing to be associated with such a crappy gift -- I can't actually give it to my daughter. Thank goodness I opened it first. What an awful experience.

The company I work for just sent me a bouquet of peonies from you.
The directions were clear, but within hours the blooms began to open and the petals started falling off.
I grow peonies myself, so I know how to care for them in a vase.
Today is day two and the peonies are beyond sad. I have pictures. But I don’t see a way to attach a photo.
Do I tell my company that the delivery from you guys was a waste of their money? Or, what do you suggest?
Flowers wilted miserably within 4 days of receipt
I have both ordered and received flowers from Farmgirl for several years. ALWAYS, I have received confirmation that the recipient loved the arrangements, the colors, and the "longevity" of the flowers. My daughter and family ordered a bouquet to be delivered on April 11th. I followed all the directions to preserve the bouquet, but within 4 days, the bouquet was a sad sight of drooping flowers, most of which had to be composted. Very sorry to report this. The order number was 4604089. I'd like to think that this poor order was an anomaly.
I hate to write negative things but…
I hate to write negative things but this company went from the best to the worst! My friends and family all used them when we discovered them the first few years they started. Since then I would say I had 2-3 perfect deliveries and 13 problematic onead. You can no longer rely on them to be consistent with what’s pictured and what you get which is a problem. MORE problematic is the delivery system- you can not rely on them to get your flowers on time which is a very big issue for a florist! It also embarrasses me ( the customer) every time because it looks like I ordered late or last minute - not ever been the case! I also ordered this week after stopping ordering with them for a couple of years! I had the exact same problems this week I did during COVID amd after and the same excuses they gave for why my deliveries were late they gave years ago! It’s so crazy. I want to love this company so much and have given endless chances to them but- I am definately done. As pretty as things look- you might get them or might not. And it may or may not be what you ordered. It’s so sad because they were gorgeous when she first opened the business!
Stay away!
I ordered flowers for my wedding through Farmgirl Flowers. They sent colors vastly different than the ones I chose. When I let them know I'd like a refund because I cannot use these flowers, they refused. I have a bunch of flowers that grossly clash with the other ones I ordered, that are of no use to me and are quite frankly small, wilted, and ugly. I have 3 days to get this straightened out, and I work full-time. Complete waste of money; stress added on to what should be the happiest day of my life, and a complete waste of time.
Not Good Service
My order was erroneous from the beginning. I called 5 minutes after the order was placed to make a small correction and was told it wasn't possible. Then the flowers were 2 days late being delivered. Then...I had paid for a vase and they came just wrapped. I have used 1-800-Flowers for years and will continue to.
2nd time flowers delivered late
I’ve bought from Farmgirl Flowers ~20 times over the past couple of years. In the beginning they had great products that were delivered on time. However, the last two orders were delivered late and I’m done.
In this instance I placed an order 2.5 weeks in advance and paid $25 deliver fee to have flowers delivered to my wife ON Valentine’s Day. Yesterday they sent a notice saying that the flowers shipped…no mention of them being late. I got home today thinking my wife received the flowers, but no. I checked the tracking number and it says they’ll be delivered on Monday. What’s the point of selecting a date for delivery if you can’t hold to your commitment especially for flowers!?!
Waste of Money - don't order when its cold!
Waste of Money! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN THE WINTER. I sent flowers to thank a friend for their recent hospitality. I paid $35 for Saturday shipping. When Saturday came and went and the flowers hadn't been delivered I reached out to FGF. I received a note that bc of bad weather in Louisville, they were going to postpone my delivery to Tuesday but would give me $15 back on the shipping since the flowers didn't make it on Saturday. Fast forward to Tuesday and my friend sends me a pic of her flowers thanking me and saying wasn't necessary. I look at the picture and not only did it NOT look like the flowers I had ordered, all of the flowers were dead and looked brown all over. The next day I spoke to her and she said the flowers had arrived frozen, and when they thawed out they all turned brown.
Again, I reached out to FGF and they told me I should have paid for the shipment protection (in addition to the $35 in shipping fees I had already paid). But, as a one time courtesy they would resend flowers - no refunds. Knowing my friend was traveling, I asked for them to arrive on or after a certain date. Shortly after I get an email that the flowers would be delivered in 2 days, when they were gone. Again contacted FGF and she arranged for the flowers to come later in the week. Scheduled date of delivery I get an email saying sorry it had been delayed bc of the cold in Memphis - mind you these are going from CA to Michigan. First delay blamed on snow in Louisville, second delay blamed on cold in Memphis. Flowers get there a day late - again froze, and again died within hours of being brought inside. Again scolded by FGF for not adding the delivery protection to my order.
lesson learned - stick with local florist! Would give no stars if I could!
DO NOT BUY
Have bought flowers here before with no issue. This time, purchased flowers and caramels for my mom’s birthday which was occurring while a few of us were out of town. Ordered them four days in advance. Farmgirl flowers didn’t even ship the flowers until the day they were supposed to be delivered and there was an issue with the package causing it to be returned to sender two days after it was supposed to be delivered (on my mom’s birthday). Now my only option is to have flowers delivered a full week later (at which point we will already be home again) or receive a partial refund because the insurance company keeps a portion of the fee. Basically, I paid for absolutely NOTHING. They have no phone number for customer service and require that you only go through Route for any issues that happen after the package leaves their warehouse. I will never buy from here again. Sounds like they are declining heavily based on the other recent reviews. Such a bummer.
I have ordered from Farmgirl Flowers…
I have ordered from Farmgirl Flowers before with good results. However my last experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The flowers ordered for a friends birthday were delayed multiple times, and when they arrived the flowers were dead. I filed a claim on the route protection that I purchased. Farmgirl Flowers contacted me to blame the vendor they picked to do the delivery and basically told me to file a claim. What they charge for flowers you would think that would care a bit more about the unfortunate experience. But they only cared about the blame. Huge disappointment and will not make the same mistake twice. NOT Worth the money they charge to be brushed off .

Paid over $200 for 2 orders and they both arrived frozen and dead. Very very disappointed in these arrangements. Will go back to 1800 flowers.com. At least they arrive fresh and not frozen. So very disappointed.

Flowers came late- 3 days late- they also came browned up. Probably from being late. I read about the online insurance I could have purchased after the fact. Why should I pay for something that should be very fresh? Oh- and don't buy the sale flowers- clearly on sale because they are old. I am a 3 year customer, flowers have been late before, twice. Very disappointed to see this company's product and practices go downhill.
Order Locally
Order a poinsettia for my mother for Christmas. What arrived was wilted and unhealthy. Pay over $100 for a Poinsettia - what they deliver is sickly and sad. Was hopeful for this brand but I suggest to order your flowers locally so they arrive fresh. This is the second issue I've had with flower delivery online sites. So disappointed that this is what was delivered to my mother for Christmas.
Terrible flowers
Terrible flowers, terrible service. Good marketing, bad website. These people took my order and somehow messed up the address, then blamed me for it. They never delivered the flowers, didn't make good on a discount for future orders, and their customer service employs dud crash test dummies. I should have listened to my florist friend and gone with a local company. They could have had a customer for life, and now just created a bad taste in some customers' mouths. I learned my lesson: read the reviews, and pay for quality.
