Insisted i must sell my home before…

Insisted i must sell my home before viewing a property. I live where homes sell in 2-3 weeks. I have to know there is somewhere to buy before selling. Idiocy and incompetence at its highest.
Would nit like to be selling with them. How many potential buyers you are missing?!
I will add. I expected the excuse given. However. When looking for a decent bungalow, which are like hens teeth, you need to find one before Marketing. You cannot risk selling and hope one will drop out of thin air when you do.
Houses yes, ten a penny. I saw one that on paper looks good. Tempting. But I can’t view it to see. Crackers.
And Garstang branch do not follow this rule. I have viewed two potentials there. They operate on a more professional basis. Not sure if this is a franchise. I have also viewed with Holdens and others. So I suggest thinking carefully before using Fulwood Farrell Heyworths

Sales Progression Support

The sales progression team, namely Alison Whiteside, has provided us with such fantastic support during these past few weeks. 5* Sales Progression Department

Not only did we have a great experience with the sales staff at Chorley office, we had a 5* experience with the sales progression department, in particular Alison Whiteside. Our sale was not an easy one to say the least! Despite all the obstacles we faced, Alison overcame them all, she went above and beyond, and in all honesty I don’t think the sale would have progressed to completion without her perseverance. Farrell Heyworth are lucky to have her, she is an asset to the Company.

Farrell and Heyworth excellent customer service

I have bought and sold three houses with Farrell and Heyworth in the north west. All from different offices. What makes Farrell and Heyworth stand out is the excellent customer service and efforts of the sale progression team to get things moving to completion. The team understands that regular communication is important to all concerned in the chain. Recently Alison Whiteside helped my elderly mother in a complicated house sale/flat purchase and was active in chasing solicitors for answers and dealing with purchaser enquiries. I can honestly say, if it were not for Alison we would have lost our buyer and onward purchase. She is now settled in and doing well. Thank you to all the team at Cleveleys Branch and Alison. Recommended.

The service provided by Alison Whiteside

The service provided by Alison Whiteside was excellent. It was a very stressful time upon completion as there were disputes between the solicitors on both sides and the buyer was moving over from Gurnsey and her rental premises in Blackpool were no longer available. Alison was an excellent mediator and we finally completed on the deadline day without much ado. It was an emotional time and Alison shouldered much of the stress. I can't thank her enough.

We had a very positive experience with Farrell Heyworth. Our purchase was fairly straightforward, however we still had bumps in the road. Alison Whiteside from the sales progression team was extremely supportive, responding to emails promptly and helping to keep things moving in the last few days. Buying and selling houses is hard work, with situations that are often out of your control (and also out of the control of the agents). I would highly recommend Farrell and…

I would highly recommend Farrell and Heyworth and there progression team i dealt with Alison Whiteside she sorted any questions I had and resolved them talking to different estate agents and solicitors, sadly my first sale fell through but on the second attempt same again Alison was there at the end of the phone or an email to sort things out and got the job done,so I would highly recommend them when selling your house

WOW, Amazing experience.

I have just had amazing experience selling a property through Farrell Heyworth, Cleveleys. But, I would like to take this opportunity to praise the FH Sales Progressor Alison Whiteside. As anyone will know the whole process is a very time consuming ordeal and at times can be quite slow and frustrating. But FH have this amazing person who will take on a sale, grab it by the scruff of the neck and be relentless in pushing the solicitors to completion. Even with my own sale there were a few bumps in the road, but with Alison, she is someone you can communicate with on a personal level which helps immensely. She is extremely attentive to the situation and may I add, she has an amazing sense of humor. For me, that was golden. FH should be very proud to have a person like Alison and the staff of the Cleveleys branch in their ranks. They are a real credit to the estate agency industry. Once again, thank you so much for the hard work put in to get my property sold.

I just tried making an inquiry. Simple questions why I'm filling out the section for another person? I have to put N/A and it won't let me Finnish without it.
I tried to make a call but the phone recordings blow you off. Made me realize I want to deal with real people that have real customer service.

As part of our role, we do ask a small set of questions up front to make sure we’re acting correctly on our client’s instructions and handling enquiries efficiently — but it’s clear that, in your case, the way the form was structured (and the need to enter “N/A”) made a simple enquiry feel unnecessarily difficult. That isn’t the experience we want anyone to have.

We’re also very aware that when someone chooses to call, they’re looking for real help from a real person. If our recorded options made it harder to reach someone, that’s something we take seriously.

I had a mixed experience with Farrell…

I had a mixed experience with Farrell Heyworth.

Initially, they were excellent very proactive, great communication, and the marketing of the property was strong. They did a great job in getting the property sold STC, and at that stage I couldn’t fault them.

However, once the property was sold subject to contract, the level of service dropped off significantly.

Communication became difficult, callbacks were rare, and getting a clear update was often a challenge. It felt like the urgency disappeared once the sale was agreed.

That said, Natalie did stand out and went out of her way to help where she could, which I appreciated.
Overall, while they are strong at securing a sale, the aftercare and ongoing support throughout the process needs improvement.

At times, I found myself chasing updates and providing more information than I was receiving, which shouldn’t really be the case.

Id definitely shop around more before making the decision to go for FH right away!
