As per instructions from Lenders, we had to obtain inspection report EWS1.
I was introduced to Paul and his Fire Risk Assessment company. Very professional from A to Z, serious company. After exchanging a couple of emails, the date for inspection was set and inspection was performed. Received the inspection report and EWS1 form, from Paul and his company through email. Lenders has accepted the inspection report and we are happy that we picked up right person and company for this important job.

I engaged with Fire Risk Assessment (Scotland) Ltd to get an ESW1 form following home report comments. FRAS service was excellent and very prompt, exactly what is needed in the busyness of selling a property.

The EWS process was challenging for our particular building and Paul was able to provide the necessary skill and expertise to satisfy the requirements.

Paul was exceptionally responsive. Always quick to reply and act. This whole EWS1 requirement has been a headache and frustration, so this was at least refreshing to have someone who made things simple and efficient.

He was also fair. As he had done a review on our block of flats already for another client he offered a lower cost due to less work being required. I wouldn't have known this was an option but he volunteered the proposition, so it became obvious who to go for my EWS1.

I respect integrity & fairness and he showed it with this action, so I would recommend him to others.

At a very late stage in the process of selling my flat, my buyers lender requested an EWS1 to proceed. I had paid reservation fees and extras towards a new build property on the basis that the flat had sold and this was all at risk. This was an extremely stressful situation and research showed it could take up to 42 months to obtain the certificate. Paul made it so stress free and inspected the building within 48 hours of me contacting him, the certificate followed within two days following this and all is going ahead as planned. I would massively recommend this company to anyone going through the same situation!
