Feedback from our recent purchase.
1st Septembet 2022.
We recently purchased our new car supported by Ben from First 4 Cars.
We have used First 4 Cars twice in the past and this time we wanted to do the same.
My husband is deaf and the paperwork and communication can be extremely stressful and complicated for him but from the start of the process Ben was amazing.
Ben worked with me as his wife, to support Alan. I could easily communicate in British Sign Laugage what was happening throughout the whole process as Ben made it clear and helped us with anything we needed support with.
Ben was, patient, understanding, thorough and kept us fully informed throughout what would normally be a difficult time.
I would recommend First 4 Cars to anyone but particularly so for anyone who is hearing impaired.
First 4 Cars are excellent when working on fair access to information and sensitive to the needs of hearing impaired and anyone supporting them.
We cannot thank Ben or First 4 Cars enough.
My husband drove away a very happy man and agreed the way we were supported and understood was outstanding.
Wanted to share this with anyone thinking of using First 4 Cars as we would highly recommend them.

I initially discovered first for cars after exhausting other options as I just couldn’t settle on a car that had everything I had hoped for.
I called the company and a representative called Ben answered. He spoke clearly and kindly and invited me to come and browse the selection after I’d finished work, which is convenient as it’s hard to find the right car around work hours.
He met myself and my mother on arrival and welcomed us. He gave us space and time to look at whichever cars we wanted, and was at hand should we have any queries. I eventually decided I liked the feel of the B-class after we were able to sit in and get a feel for several other options.
At no point did we feel pressured, and no question was a daft question.
I returned the following working day (today) after the boring bits of documentation had gone through and he guided me through every single step. He took myself and my mum on a test drive around to show me how various aspects of the car worked and how it drove, this put me at ease and made me feel so relaxed in buying my first modern car. He made sure to go out of his way to make sure I felt happy and comfortable with all aspects of buying a new car as I have never purchased from a dealership before.
I couldn’t have asked for a better purchasing experience. Thank you so much to Ben, also to the people who valeted the car prior to me collecting it and everyone at the establishment.
I shall recommend First4Car to everyone wanting a warm, welcoming and seamless car buying experience.

Well, I’m not sure what to think about this tbh, but I got my son a 2015 model car just 18 months ago & this car was like new in brilliant condition. It’s a diesel ford kuga. I’m almost sure we paid some extra kind of cover although I always thought if you were to buy a car above £12000 it might come with a little bit of cover anyway. I do know we paid some extra on top but after only 18 months the Alternator seems to have gone & with only around 55000 on the clock this does seem a little premature. I’m not sure what to make of this but I’m not very happy as my lad can’t run this now. I rang these people today & was told they would confer with there mechanic, the more I’m reading the more I’d say avoid these ppl. Prove me wrong & you’re a decent company by repairing my lads car but I dare say that a decent company really would!! I do appreciate that some of my coms may seem a little unfair but I have not just put these coms up as a shot out of the blue, there would appear to be quite a few other people coming out with coms similar to this. In my opinion, if you buy a pretty good car & a person is paying in excess of £12000 then Excuse me for expecting a decent quality motor when I’ve just paid out over £12000 cash as what was paid at the time. Why did I even have to pay any warranty, in my opinion it should’ve come with some warranty of sorts but it came with nothing & I had to pay extra. Also, you can reply on here but I rang several days ago & was promised a call back after promising me you would be speaking with youre mechanic but you never even gave me that, I got a promise of a call back & you didn’t bother getting back to me so please don’t make out I’m being completely unfair, we did not pay peanuts for this car so wouldn’t expect a monkeys response. All as I’m saying is that if you’re paying a large amount of money for a car I wouldn’t think it unreasonable to hope for at least a couple of years & we can’t even get that!! My lads got this car so he could take his dissabled brother out & about & he’s had 18 months for the money paid, a little much don’t you think?
