Great harness and great customer service. I have tried so many harnesses for my dog, either poor quality or poor fit, but this is just perfect. I ordered the red colour with hi-viz and its just brilliant. Joanne called me to talk through the measurements which really helped. I purchased the splashy dog harness as my pup is a muddy puddle lover and this harness is great. He can also easily sprint around with it on and it is so easy to put on. One happy owner and one happy doodle.

Beautifully made harness and lead, lovely soft fleece, looks very attractive and fits my dog perfectly. It didn’t need adjusting but that is easy to do if necessary. She seems very comfortable and happy in it. The lead is lovely too and so comfortable in my hand. Clever design. Trixie and I are both very happy with both.

very pleased wiht the harness for Bertie, our English Setter. he has a deep chest and needed a harness made for him so am very appreciative of Joannes expertise with getting the measurements right. He had developed a skin condition under his arm pits from a webbing harness -that he had probably grown out of - and so we were looking for comfort as well as control. This is excellent - he has been bounding away through the woods chasing pheasants and generally looking happy for hte last week now! the harness is very well made, soft but strong and the D ring at the front works well. will definatelyshop with you again should I need anythng else.

This is my second purchase and like the first time the service was fantastic, Joanne was so helpful over the phone guiding on getting the correct size harness,when the harnesses arrived the quality was again excellent.I have no problem to recommend this company and I will be using them again.

I have ordered several times before from this company and have been more than happy with the quality. However, on this occasion the collar came in a very stiff condition and a part of the leather was peeling away. Paying over £40 for a collar this kind of condition isn’t acceptable, so understandably I asked for an exchange.

I sent the collar back, I even paid the postage so I could exchange it for a new one in better condition. They were extremely rude and accused me of damaging the dog collar. Why would I damage it when I purchased it in the first place? I wanted a replacement because of the poor quality I had received it in. They claimed it came in two pieces? Strange because I never sent it back like that and why would I? They have since sent me a photograph of the collar and l can honestly say it wasn’t sent back in that condition nor does it resemble the same one I sent back.

Very unprofessional on the phone and horrible to speak to. Has stated that I have been abusive, when in fact I would imply it’s the other way around. I understand sometimes items are faulty, I just wanted to get it resolved and get my dog his new collar. They don’t understand the concept of customer service, instead they have lost a customer who would have happily ordered from them in the future.

This review needs to stay on here so I will simply post this...This piece of tat broke on the same day it arrived...during the second walk.
The vendor claimed that I had abused it and told Paypal that I altered it. Then they called me a liar on this site and complained that I had called them dishonest .

I have a one year old golden retriever who was just between the standard sizes. So, I rang the team and we decided to go for a bespoke harness and I am so pleased we did! I was carefully told how to measure my hound to ensure the fit was snug and comfortable and was given reassurance that if any of the measurements didn't look right when it came to making the harness then Joanne would be in touch to check.

I was given a choice of colour, stitching and width of strap along with a delivery date.

The harness was duly delivered on the promised date and Henry was delighted with his new harness! Comfortable yet stylish was his doggy feedback!

Thanks again to Joanne and the team! And if Henry ever finds his true retriever credentials and shakes off his fear of the sea we will be back for a waterproof version!

Delighted with my purchase of a Union Jack harness for my chocolate lab. The one that I had before was so difficult to put on and it didn't seem to fit properly. Your harness fits perfectly and looks great. Joanne was really helpful and talked me through the measurement process. Will be back for another when the time comes.

I love the new harnesses we ordered for Freddie and Chester. They are the only harnesses we have ever bought that fit our dogs perfectly. They are so well made and are a fantastic fit. Freddie used to pull on the lead but with these harnesses he has stopped pulling. They looked so smart on their first walk wearing them. All my harnesses with come from EDog products in the future. Im going to order matching leads as well.

This is a great harness for an Italian greyhound. Once you provide the measurements in return you get a lovely harness - snug fit suits the Italian greyhound shape and soft webbing against his coat so no rubbing. Definitely recommend and the customer service excellent.

I purchased a custom size eDog Classic fleece harness. It's well constructed, beautiful, eye-catching and extremely comfortable for my Greyhound. The harness fits him perfectly.
This is my fifth harness I've purchased from Joanne, over a span of five years. I can attest that the harnesses hold up well over the years, and holds up to heavy use and many washings. I plan to continue being a repeat customer as future harness needs arise.

Great service from start to finish ordered two for my collies but both needed to be custom made,talked me through all the measurements,delivery was fast and they fit perfectly its also great to have a choice of so many colors 😀😀

Brilliant service again had one before with my staffie and now one for my greyhound. The harnesses fit perfect and are very difficult for the dog to get out of also the fleece lining is more comfortable for the dog.

Let’s start with the positive. I bought a fleece harness from this company in 2014 and was very happy with it but needed to replace it this year due to normal wear and tear. I ordered a new one, the same size, in early November but wrapped it up for Christmas (soft, I know) so my dog Charlie didn’t start using it until late December. Since then one of the clips has come undone on several occasions compromising the safety of my dog especially as I live near a busy road. The clips are a different design from the original one. I E-mailed Joanne, who asked me to supply photos and my phone number and she would get back to me. When she rang she was rude and patronising. Everything was my fault. She said it might happen in 1 of 1000 clips and that her solution was to put a 1cm piece of elastic from the harness over the buckle “on the waist bit” to stop it unfastening. This was never going to work as when a clip comes undone the prongs go inwards not outwards. She has later retracted this advice and said I misunderstood her. My fault! Her manner was so rude I had to end the call.

I have asked Joanne for a full refund including delivery and return costs and she has replied saying I have had the harness 3 1/2 months. Is this how long the product is intended to last? She also stated that the clips ‘were not defective when they left the factory’. My fault again. How she would know this I have no idea, as they still don’t look defective. I sent her a photo to show her this. She offered to replace the clip if I returned the harness, my cost. Unfortunately I have lost all faith in this company and am not happy with this solution. I will not put my dogs safety at risk.

Fantastic product and company. Their made to measure fleece harness fits our dog perfectly and is so comfortable for him.

I've attempted to review this company already, however since I posted it the first time, they've gone to great efforts to get it taken down, including this time. Nothing about my review is defamatory or accusatory. It is factual.

This is what happened. I placed an order for 2 items specifically so that it took my order above the minimum for free delivery. They accepted payment for both items via PayPal and then emailed me to say one item was out of stock. I called & emailed them and stated clearly that I would not be paying a delivery charge, and that either I would amend my order to take it over £49 or I would pay the 1p to take it up to £49. Instead they charged me £4.99 delivery without my permission (by making only a partial refund for the item they did not have in stock) and sent the incomplete order. In their attempts to get this review removed, they are now saying I paid by credit card, and made the delivery payment myself (I can assure you I never gave them my credit card details, thankfully)! They cannot provide evidence to support this...I have their emails telling me that it’s their own PayPal business banking that automatically took the payment. I emailed them immediately and said they did not have authorisation to do so, and I wanted a refund of the delivery charge. They refused saying it was my fault....

I pointed out that I’d called and emailed saying I wouldn’t be paying the delivery charge, and still they argued. They blamed it on the PayPal business banking process, saying that they couldn't control what it charged. I raised a PayPal dispute, mistakenly for the original amount of the item they’d failed to supply, for which I guaranteed to return any excess payment, and they agreed to refund me £4.99, telling me to cancel the dispute. I said I’d cancel the dispute after I received the refund. It was impossible to amend the PayPal claim to £4.99 so the dispute was found in their favour as they rightly state. This is not, however, a reflection on the way they've conducted themselves, only, as PayPal stated in their decision, as a result of delivery charges being part of the process. PayPal has simply done the maths in exactly the way that this company has stated...based on the incomplete order that they sent, a delivery charge was added.

Having at one point agreed to give me the refund (I have the email), they denied having agreed to make the refund. And that's where it was left...they told me they weren't going to have any further correspondence with me.

So there we have it. A company which took my order, took full payment for my order when they did not have the stock, failed to fulfil the order, sent an incomplete order against my instructions, added a delivery charge against my instructions not to, refused to refund the delivery charge added without my permission, and now does everything in their power to discredit my factual review and get it taken down. Make your own decisions about this company...you may think they're great.

Edit: Your response is, as before, characteristic of the stream of emails you sent me refusing to refund me. The only mention I made of reviewing you was in my final reply to your last email that stated you would not be replying again (having still retained the unauthorised delivery charge that you added, for the incomplete order you sent). Your T&C's that you refer to are irrelevant - you accepted payment for stock you didn't have, sent an incomplete order that didn't reach the free delivery limit, and added a delivery charge without my permission which you refused to refund. If you think that's acceptable practice, then that's a clear reflection on your ethics, and anyone reading this review will be able to form their own opinions on whether they would like to risk placing an order with you.
Call it what you will in vain attempts to discredit, but it's my right to review appalling service from a company who failed in every way to deliver, who imposed a delivery charge and retained money owed to me from my PayPal account without my permission, and failed to act honourably. Logic dictates that we would not be in this situation, multiple emails later and a bad review if you'd simply admitted your error. You are making multiple attempts still to get this review removed by making Trustpilot make me change a few words every few days. I will continue to do so, as I have every right to review your service. Your continued attempts to hide these facts are testimony to my experience of your company.

We have been a customer of Fleece Dog Harnesses for 6 years, getting our first harness for our rescue staffie to go to clicker training classes with her. The fit is perfect and has never caused rubbing or sore spots.

Since then we have moved on to the Splashydog harnesses and collars which are brilliant as we are keen fell walkers. Cassie's latest harness is in its 3rd year of use and withstands weekly 10 mile hikes and washes in the washing machine. When away on walking holidays the added advantage is that the harness will dry overnight with our walking gear.

We have had collars, leads and the brilliant halo collars which ensure Cassie is visible when walking down our unlit country lane at night. We also have a harness with reflective strips for this purpose too.

Joanne and her team provide a wonderful service and we are often stopped when out with Cassie by people wanting to know where we got her harness from as their own is so ill fitting. In particular staffies can be a difficult shape to get a standard fit harness so being able to measure your dog for a harness is a great bonus.

As the products last so well they are great value for money. It's why we only use this company as we are so delighted with their products.
