Unable to check in with airline - booking not found!
I was unable to check in online on the Lufthansa website as they could not find my booking. I tried to contact Flugladen but their customer service line was closed and I kept getting stuck in a frustrating loop with their AI chat bot. I finally got through to an online agent, and they said they had escalated the case to their team and someone would contact me within 1-2 hours. 3 hours later, I had heard nothing and had no response to my email. I spoke to another online agent and they said "I think the flight might be cancelled, please contact the airline directly". They could provide no further information; I'm not sure why the flight being cancelled would have effected my ability to check in to the flight 24 hours prior, and there was no information about a cancellation on the Lufthansa website. I went directly to the airport and spoke to the check in desk- they asked me whether I had changed the booking (I had not) as it looked like I was supposed to be on an earlier flight. Luckily the flights were not fully booked and they were able to give me a seat on the first flight and standby for the second (which luckily worked out).
I've emailed Flugladen again to let them know what happened and to try and get some clarity, but have had no response.
Will not be booking with them again.

Jede Fluggesellschaft hat ihre eigenen Regeln und Buchungsoptionen, daher variieren die Möglichkeiten zur Gepäckaufladung. Dies kann bedeuten, dass Gepäck erst später hinzugefügt werden kann.

lost almost 600€ due to annulation by airline !!!
booked a fly for outbound and return for my 14th years old doughter, and her accompanying persons booked same fly by another portal lastminute.com. Due to annulation of whole fly by the airline for the accompanying persons, and only the return fly of my doughters ticket (also by airline), we have got a refund only for the return fly, and the travel cancellation insurance was no longer valid, as it only covered the flight as a whole. So, we have lost 500 Euro of never used outbound fly plus the 80 Euro for travel cancellation insurance! We were not responsible for the annulation, but lost almost 600 Euro.I definitely cannot recommand booking or travel cancellation insurance by hopper or flugladen.de.
Its my opinion, be careful, it looks like this process seems a business model, because only the return fly has been annulated.
And let’s be honest: those ~600 euros would belong to Flugladen or Hopper (insurance) if we’d taken advantage of a service in return, but as it stands, it’s our hard-earned money that we’re losing – money that simply doesn’t belong to these companies.
What’s more, our child will have to miss out on a brilliant holiday this year, because we’re not rich enough to just fork out another 600 euros for another holiday. It’s incredibly sad that something like this has happened.
Lets say with other words - either I let travel my underage daughter allone throuth the half world without accompanying persons and without a return fligh (anullated by arline), or I loose the money...I guess no mother and not a single father on this planet would decide first option!

vielen Dank für das Teilen dieser Rückmeldung. Es ist vollkommen verständlich, dass diese Situation zu großer Enttäuschung führt, besonders wenn Reisepläne für das eigene Kind betroffen sind und unerwartete Kosten entstehen.
Bei der Auswahl von flexiblen Angeboten auf der Website werden manchmal zwei separate Einzeltickets kombiniert, um den besten Preis anzubieten. Auf diese Struktur sowie die unterschiedlichen Bedingungen für den Hin- und Rückflug wird vor dem Abschluss der Buchung hingewiesen. Da es sich rechtlich um zwei getrennte Verträge handelt, gelten die Bedingungen der Fluggesellschaft für jedes Ticket unabhängig voneinander. Wenn eine Fluggesellschaft einen Teil der Reise absagt, betrifft dies leider nicht automatisch das andere Ticket, weshalb eine Erstattung dort nach den Tarifregeln nicht immer möglich ist.
Ich hoffe, dies bringt etwas Klarheit in diese Angelegenheit.
