14/Oct Fitting instructions emailed. Told frame is 70X70mm when asked so I could get long enough drill bit. Instructions were generic and for a standard front or back door

04/Nov Order door under #30017, paid in full. told 3-4week delivery and would be approximately 1st/Dec

26/Nov Delivered door. Chap was their own driver and was very helpful

26/Nov Asked about fitting as wrong guide. They emailed 2nd fitting instructions for Evolve patio door

27/Nov Emailed some questions about the vent bar which turned up and not on fitting guide. Told its OEM which is why its not on the guide. There was no answer to my questions about
how the bar is fitted.

29/Nov Asked again about fitting guide, this time told what I had was for old product. Selecta patio door PDF emailed to me from Doncaster Upvc Windows. Further questions emailed.

30/Nov Told spare bit of plastic in order which wasn't in instructions was to cover the drainage holes in the channel between the two sliding tracks.

30/Nov Sent email asking them to send the vents with the routed bar as when told about OEM bar on phone I was also told the vents come separately and they should be fitted at end of install and they weren't with the door.

04/Dec told new vent bar would be shipped and i would receive it tomorrow, Saturday 5th or Monday 7th

08/Dec told to call back before 5pm as phones go on auto answer then and that a number of parcels had, had problems with the couriers. Phone system then took answers and i couldn't get through

09/Dec tried again, no luck. Got through on phone, told they were sent 1st class, I questioned how they sent a bar that large first class, they said just the vents and that I had agreed to route some
holes in the blank vent bar we had. This is not true, at no time had I ever agreed to do the route work, I only emailed on the 30th because they had already told me the vents are fitted last
and screw on, as we never received them I was simply confirming they were sending them with the new top/vent bar.

Lessons learned from my first UPVC product order and fit. Things that should have moved me on to other supplier quotes:
1). When you complete your order and company knows exactly what you are purchasing, why isn't there a PDF of frame family or installation guide for that frame on their site? There is no answer for this and a reputable company would have this IMHO.

2). When something goes wrong how a company deals with problems is ultimately what is going to fix any issue that happens with your order. The reviews on their site don't really give any insight into this, "caveat emptor"

3). Flying doors is also Doncaster UPVC Windows

4). When someone says 70x70mm profile, ignore it and get the biggest 300 or 400mm drill bit you can get

5). Not having the correct guide with enough information means I wasn't able to assess how much opening the door would have based on my dimensions. This again comes back to the PDF guides or lack of

6.) The reviews are all on their site, they aren't an external company like trust pilot. This should ring alarm bells and to be fair I actually thought they were when I ordered

I have no solution and am supposed to complete door fit in 2days time. Generally I was happy until I found out (9/Dec/2020) they weren't going to re-ship the incorrect part, expecting me to route vent holes in the unfinished OEM bar that I have
no instructions for even in fitting guide. The backdoor and 2 windows I need will now come from someone else as I'm noting going though this again
