Wanted to order an engine and Do Not Order Terrible Customer Service and Overall Horrible Experiencereceived…

Wanted to order an engine and received a quote from Blue Oval Spares (Ford Bits). Called them up to ask about the engine and how quickly it would be delivered it said 1 to 3 working days and would be a quick delivery. Order was placed on Wednesday 13th May at around midday. We gave it a few days and then started calling to find out where the engine was as they hadn’t sent us any update or confirmation it had been dispatched. Staff advised me that they would find out where the order is and call back. No update so called again and they said were still waiting for an update and well call you back within 5 minutes. Still heard nothing so we called again later in the day, and they said we’ll try again tomorrow. Then I had to call again Tuesday morning and, in the afternoon, only to finally get an update that it’s been dispatched and would be with me within 24 to 48 hours. Already past the delivery due date but fine we waited for the order. Then I called on Friday saying where is it it’s been over 48 hours, and the staff said didn’t I say it would be with you by the end of the week instead. Once again told we’ll find out where it is. Throughout all these phone calls there wasn’t an apology for the delay until the very end when the manager came back. Then after bank holiday weekend we called on Tuesday 26th and the same thing happened again of them not knowing and needing to find out and another failed promised called back. Finally, the engine arrived on the morning of Thursday 28th over 2 weeks after it had been ordered. The biggest joke is the quote was still open on parts gateway, and I got another email saying we’ve got a quote from blue oval spares for an engine and it still says it’ll be delivered in 1 to 3 working days. I then emailed and asked what can you do about the fact we’ve had a severely delayed and they said nothing. I would completely understand if the engine was delivered within 5 working days that would be reasonable too but over 2 weeks when we were promised a fast delivery is atrocious. No resolutions offered, terrible customer service attitude over 2 weeks would not recommend ordering from here at all.

Should be minus 100 star don't waste you time or money on this company you will regret it like getting aids
I purchased a gearbox for my Ford Fiesta S1600 Limited Edition and specifically asked if the gearbox had come from an S1600 because I wanted the closest possible match for my vehicle. I also asked about mileage and gear ratio before buying and was told it was correct and came from a car with 61,000 miles.
During fitting, compatibility concerns were raised regarding the tripod cup and driveshaft fitment. I contacted the company politely straight away and explained the issue in detail, even offering photos to help. Initially they said they would speak with a technician and see if a replacement or solution could be provided, but later I received rude and unprofessional messages insulting my mechanic instead of properly resolving the issue.
I stayed polite throughout and simply wanted fair customer service and support.

Started out ordered an alloy wheel to Ireland which they agreed to do, no sign of it coming no tracking number and after weeks of calls I finally got an update after proclaimed “lost in transit” which they then admitted the package was never sent in the first place, I had to pay €45 customs which I wouldn’t mind if I got the item I ordered, they sent me out a completely different wheel and just hoped maybe I wouldn’t tell the difference or something? I just took the loss as it was too much hassle to try and sort my original purchase out. Avoid this company

I bought a gear box for diesel fiesta…

I bought a gear box for diesel fiesta but it didn’t fit my car even though all the numbers I matched before I picked up (NOT FORD BITS FAULT)
Ford bits arranged it to be picked up (I paid )
And refunded me full price
Amazing service highly recommended
I’ll not hesitate to use them again

Great service, exceptional communication and great parts

I needed a part 2 days before my MOT. Ross from Ford Bits was very quick at responding and had knowledge about the parts and delivery time. I managed to get the part on next day delivery- with tracking! Would 100% recommend. He also took care in packaging my part, it was wrapped carefully. Overall a very good experience!

Terrible and shocking customer service ordered a…

Terrible customer service ordered a Ford mondeo gearbox was sent wrong one so they said they would send another one and once again sent wrong gearbox basically trying to tell me my fully qualified mechanic was wrong, so phoned once again and got screamed and shouted at by a one of the customer service team very disappointed and upset tried asking for a refund but was told I would be charged for two £85 delivery charges even though I was sent 2 wrong gearboxes, I have had to cut my losses and have my fully qualified mechanic source another gearbox. Wouldn't not recommend this company they haven't even got back in touch with me about the situation have trying to sort for 2 weeks and still no joy. Yes I fully admit to being wrong about my pictures tha I had sent but I had sent that many. Also I put in the details of the car and codes off old gearbox and its still not the correct gearbox... wasn't nasty just upset.plus posting my name and email address is a data breach without my consent I shall be looking into this.

Good evening I have just been through all my messages and emails and all I can do is apologise you was correct about my pictures I honestly couldn't remember sending it where do I go from here as my mechanic is still saying that the first gearbox we received was incorrect as with the second one I am also re attaching the original gearbox picture from the actual car and the one I have in my garden which is also the wrong one the one on the pallet is your one with the warranty sticker and the other is our actual gearbox... I am very sorry for any confusion on my part I just want it resolved thank you

Lovely receptionist otherwise awful. Never received carpart.

Bought a turbo of BreakersLink which is I would say like a gocompare website but only for used car parts. My parcel never arrived on the estimated delivery date, called DHL which told me that my parcel never arrived. Confused of this I called FordBits directly and was told that it had been despatched making no sense as DHL never received the parcel. Receptionist on the phone told me that she needed 3 days to investigated this. In the end they didn't have the turbo and are now refunding me. The reason why I gave this a 3 star rating and not a 1 was because of the kind receptionist which would answer calls even after hours.

Easy to purchase a spare wheel

Easy to purchase the used spare wheel that I wanted - a phone chat gave me the confidence that I was going to get the item I was looking for. Dispatch and delivery was fast and the item arrived in good condition - it fits the bill perfectly. A 10 out of 10 rating!

Very knowledgeable and easy to deal with.

I just like to share my experience with this company.

I used them to get a new wheel for my kuga as I put the last one down a pot hole, there are two different types I was informed and I wasn’t sure which one it was ,but the person that dealt with my enquiry knew exactly what they was talking about and got me to check first before wasting time and money, thank you to the team at Ford bits as I’m now back on the road hasslefree, I will be definitely using you again soon.

Good product & good price

Easy to order, good price & the fiesta wheel was exactly what I wanted & had a really good tyre too. Delivery was a bit later than expected but I would definately use again.
