I I have have been using Fountain Filters for all my filters since February 2013. They have always been superb in their service and only once had to return an item (Manufacturing Fault, NOT them).
It was replaced with NO quibble whatsoever promptly.

I've always found Fountain Filters to be very helpful, when I've needed their advice.

I bought my filter tap 10 years ago and have bought replacement filters over the years. I have always received 5 star service from Fountain Filters.
A few years after buying my filter tap I telephoned about a dripping tap and the man spent a lot of time explaining how to rectify the problem - his guidance sorted out the problem in 5 minutes!
Recently I ordered a new saddle valve however some weeks after receiving decided to change for a tap valve and there was no problem returning the unused part and my new part was received within 48 hours.
Other companies could learn a lot about customer service from Fountain Filters.

Unfortunately I had to change my review from 5* to 2*.

Although these guys appeared brilliant during the sales stage, sadly the aftercare has been really poor. Shame, as I originally gave them such a brilliant review!

The tap isn’t yet a year old and already needing a repair, on top of that I was asked to complete the repair myself!

The tap we purchased from them stopped working properly after less than a year. We were sent a replacement part of the tap and advised to change it ourselves. We foolishly agreed to it rather than calling a plumber straight away. The instructions were not written properly, we had to buy additional tools to carry this job out and it ended up with a huge leak all over our kitchen. As part of the repair we were instructed to turn off the water and sadly the stopcock also started leaking water (something we would have never touched if we didn't have to carry out this repair ourselves!!!). We had to call an emergency plumber but sadly Fountain Filters refused to give us the money for it (even though this was all due to the faulty tap). They very cheekily say the warranty covers the tap and its components. Well, this repair was carried out because of a faulty tap component... No comment!

So basically we purchased a tap that didn't even last a year and we now had to pay additional £150 for tools and the emergency plumber.
Not happy and unfortunately I would no longer recommend this place. Shame as we'll be moving soon and I was planning to purchase another tap from them but sadly it's a big NO from me now.

even though my under sink filter doesn't do what I want it to, I was pleased with the help I got from Fountain Filters. They did explain that it probably would not do what I wanted it to so I am waiting for a filter that will totally remove the hard water scum from my tea. Seems it does not yet exist.

Excellent advice, very helpful. Quick delivery, exactly what we needed. This company is a joy to deal with.

I have tried other water filters with mixed results. However I fitted a Fountain Oyster Filter last year. Our tap water previously smelt of bleach and the taste was not good. Now our tap water is as good and properly better than most bottled water. Tea and coffee has much more flavor. The people at the company are very nice, no hard sell just honest information.

Just biblical difference compared with tap water after I have connected the filter!its quite easy to install, but I had some questions - and they called me and explained very good, not taking in mind that I am a foreigner. I expected a small filter which I should change every 2-3 months but looks like it should be changed (according to my water usage) close to every half a year, and this is really makes me happy, and another good thing - they will just e- mail me when its time to change it =)
I have recommended that to my friends and hopefully they will have good clean water.

I've used this company twice now. Their website is SO clear that you just don't need to ask any questions if you just read it. It is full of information written in a pleasant style that keeps you interested. Very Very good. If I have phoned the company for extra needs they are quick prompt and so helpful. I really enjoy dealing with them and recommend them to anyone at all.
What we drink is very important. I do not know of any water company which advertises that it removes all the oestrogens/antibiotics/other waste products which are detected in urine, which gets recirculated (esp.in cities) into our drinking water. If they did clear all these things, which are easily tested for in hospitals, they would definitely tell you I am sure. So Fountain Filters is doing a GRAND responsible job. Oestrogen related cancers have been on the rise for decades, it may not be the water we drink, but who's to say? It may well have a contributory effect.

Very quick & efficient service

These guys really seem to know they're stuff. Very authoritative yet friendly with their knowledge. Plus they don't overcharge for the product and orders turn up quickly. Couldn't ask for more.

After many discussions with Simon via e-mail I now have a super chlorine guzzler filter, which he supplied as a special order. Prompt delivery - no complaints.

All staff friendly, approachable and helpful.
Have bought filter cartridges from this company for a number of years (and a couple of taps) and have always found staff very helpful and efficient.
