Poor & Irresponsible property management at Nottingham
The below issue is solved by the Team Manager which I am now satisfied with her response. Thank you for stepping in promptly.
Terrible customer service of Maja Duraj, the Property Manager of Nottingham property management.
She has been threatening me if I do not pay for the invoice of a recent oven repair fee, she will not assist in any future issues with the house.
I reported to her two issues regarding the oven that are not working properly and the glass door of the oven fell out. The contractor arranged by her came on 21st August, saying the oven clock is not properly set so that it cannot be switched on. The man also tried to fit back the glass door but he said the door is too old and the glass couldn't be able to fit back so just ask me to disregard the glass and told me it is still safe to use the oven without the glass.
Maja then sent me the invoice £134 for the repair fee, saying I claimed the oven not working which actually do so the repair cost is on me. This is absolutely unacceptable. Firstly Maja didn't inform me in advance that the repair cost will be on me and also how much it would be. If she told me beforehand, I can decide whether I need to fix it or not or I can find my own contractor. Apart from that the oven glass door fell out all in a sudden this definitely needs a contractor to come and judge how it can be fixed or whether it is still safe to use. I am not the Engineer so I cannot judge its safety.
Actually the glass suddenly fell out and dropped on the floor it did hurt my fingers which is really dangerous and of course it needs a technician to check its safety and repair.
So I do not understand why this faulty should cost on me?!
Maja then threatened me saying if I do not pay the invoice, in case there is any other issue arise with the house later she wouldn't be helping out. What kind of customer service is that? I am totally disappointed for how she is treating tenants with this terrible manner.
Disappointing Service
We are asked Frank Innes to find us tenants for our Mum & Dad’s property, we paid them to do the check-in report and they recommended their deposit scheme (zero deposits). Again, we paid them to do the check-out inspection and report when the tenants left. There was over £3000 of damage and they put the claim into their deposit scheme with all the estimates for repairs. Their deposit scheme paid out £75, less the 3% value of the claim. We wrote to Frank Innes and stated we were extremely disappointed how they handled the claim through the deposit scheme and asked them to take actions to recover the full cost for the repairs. One month on and no reply from them, my email was just ignored. Absolutely terrible service from them and their deposit scheme.
SCAM AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Why can’t I put 0 stars!!!!
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!
Scam of a company, very shady with deposits etc…. And also the way they have just put up my rent to which me nor my partner have signed no contract to agree nor disagree but here we are both getting spam emails from country wide to tell us we owe rent arrears!!! They need investigating!!!! ASAP
This is Loughborough frank innes btw.
LANDLORDS AVOID FRANK INNES DERBY
LANDLORDS AVOID FRANK INNES DERBY
I would NOT recommend Frank Innes to any landlords after a year and a half. Inspections are not undertaken as per contract terms and the inventories are appaling. It almost appears they inspected with their eyes closed i.e Charlotte and Olivia. The staff members lie about literal photographic evidence, as if you are stupid. You have to chase and pressure them to do their jobs and when you are full time professional, you shouldn’t have to do when they take big cuts monthly. My last tenants have left my house damaged in some parts and unclean, i had charlotte telling me this was similar to previous inventatory, my property is new and pristine when i handed it over. olivia telling me it was acceptable when law states your property should be returned in the condition you handed it over. Ive never know such lazy dishonest people, they don’t care for their customers. Im now having to go through the omsbudsmen and considering taking legal action because the service is so bad. My uncle has also experienced the same issues. Looking at the reviews it’s not great for tenants either. Im happy to be parting ways from Frank innes and to be going with Hannells
Horrible experience as a tenant so far…
Horrible experience as a tenant so far in Nottingham. I’ve requested the property to be fully cleaned and mould removed as condition of the offer. Agent assured me everything is done. When I got into the property it stinks so bad of mould. So much maintenance needs to be done in the property and frank Innes don’t want to know anything about it. Landlord is awful at responding, they were supposed to get someone to come in the first week - still nothing. The windows won’t fully close as closing mechanism is broken and a draft always comes in - reported it but nothing. Please stay away from Frank Innes in Nottingham. I’ve been with other letting agencies and they are so professional and so on it. Very disappointed. I am in the process of taking them to court.
Absolutely appalling service from the…
Absolutely appalling service from the moment I signed for the my new rental property. Frank innes assured me that the landlord had carried out an inventory on the property and that it was ready for me to move in. On the day I received the keys I went to start moving and on inspection of the property it was absolutely disgusting it stunk of dogs as soon as I walked in the house. All the light Grey carpets had brown stains in all the rooms and banister rail and radiator were hanging off the walls in the landing. The whole house was filthy and frankly I wouldn't let a dog live the property. And to top it off I'm still waiting for the funds to refunded back to me over 2 weeks later. So much for Frank innes carrying out inventories on their rental portfolio. I would never recommend them to anybody
Terrible service
Terrible service was meant to move into a property let by Franks Innes and when we received keys the house was in disgusting condition none of the maintenance was done on house and smelt of dogs with stains all over carpets. Radiator and bannister hanging off the walls. It’s been over 2 weeks and still not received the deposit refunded. I would not recommend Frank Innes Mansfield to anybody .
SUTTON IN ASHFIELD BRANCH
Absolutely awful service!!! My partner placed a offer on a house with many interested ..but we had the higher offer so got accepted but of course they kept ringing us up saying they’ve had a higher offer so we went higher but we had to call them to see what was happening etc , poor communication, they make you feel uncomfortable and throw all these questions at us so we don’t know what we are talking about , then bank statements all of a sudden couldn’t be accepted not to mention we did a credas check and he passed , we wanted to use our own solicitors but they insisted on theirs and yet we have heard nothing !! Then they wanted more proof and evidence despite sending it so when we sent emails they was blocked and they stopped answering the phone , so we got another woman called Kate and she was always trying to put us off as we knew by this point they have someone in mind for the house , we actually went to the office with our mortgage offer and bank statement etc , and because my partner was from another country she made her colleague mohesha check his ID several times depite passing the credas check… and told her to look out for ‘ambers’ but everything checked out , but then receive a phone call today and she was so rude and shouted down the phone saying I’m trying to help you but we have had a higher offer .. so we said leave it if you have someone in mind then ,she was angry about it and said that the house needs a survey etc tell your mortgage adviser! but they’ve already got the offer for us and we had it in writing and no mention of any solicitors or moving forward as it didn’t need a survey but more excuses to put us off so avoid this company as they will leave you stressed , confused, uncomfortable and very unwelcome , I would never recommend them to friends and family , unless you know them personally.. you do not stand a chance and wasting your precious time , I don’t recommend this company and they’ve got their wish because he’s had to pull out despite giving everything they’ve asked and wanted , we was ready to go but we couldn’t deal with the stress they was causing us , never again what a poor company and poor staff !!! One million percent avoid ,now we can look at a more competent company that we can trust
100% professional and personal service provided throughout the house move journey
From start to finish , the service provided by Emma at Frank Innes in Uttoxeter was exemplary. Communication was consistent throughout and we were kept informed at each step of the way. Our queries were answered swiftly, and solutions to dilemmas were quickly found and made available to us. I would definitely recommend Emma & Frank Innes and would absolutely use them again in the future should I need to.
Loughborough Store
From the moment I called to inquire about renting a property, to handing back the keys the customer service was poor. I was made to feel like I was stupid. As a first time tenant I didn’t really know the process and it would have been nice to have a little more understanding and guidance. I was told the incorrect information regarding reporting problems that needed fixing within the property.I went over a week with a shower that I couldn’t turn off without great difficulty and also a broken bed. It’s clear this company is only out to make money and doesn’t really care about the tenant. Every time I reached out for advice or questions I was met with poor customer service and a stinking attitude. I was in the process of purchasing my own property and requested an extension of up to a month after my contract was due to end. My landlady agreed on the extension however frank inns were just out for themselves and said another 12 months contract with a 3 month close was the best option for both parties. I denied this contract however I kept being sent digital documents to sign. I reach out again to my landlady who agreed I could stay in the property and pay weekly however again frank inns said I had only two options either leave on the end date of my agreement or pay for a whole month extension. At this point I was due to complete my property purchase in 3 days after my contract was due to end. No consideration for peoples circumstances and I was basically made to feel in the wrong. I handed the keys back to who knows who and I won’t be renting with them ever again
Worst estate agents in Burton On Trent
The Burton On Trent branch was who I was selling my house with and to be quite honest, the service they provided was shocked. Alice who is the branch manager said she tried her best. Oh really? I don’t think you did. I’ve never been as stressed out in my life then when you kept emailing me day in day out. It was so freaking annoying. Hated your service from day one and to be quite honest again I’m glad to see the back of you. Good riddance Frank Innes Burton. And to anyone to is thinking about selling their house with Frank Innes Burton, I’d run while you can and go somewhere else. Don’t give them your time and patience. They aren’t worth it
The Nottingham Branch of Frank Innes
The Nottingham branch was our agent for the purchase of our daughter’s first home. From the moment we expressed an interest in the property Tiger was such a terrific member of staff who listened to our needs and acted promptly upon them. After a short while in the office, Tiger’s interpersonal skills put us at ease. We felt valued, an experience which never failed throughout the entire process to completion.
Morgan, branch manager, was always available whenever we needed information. Her experience in the estate agency sector was readily apparent, particularly when difficulties with our solicitor arose. We are so grateful that our daughter’s first experience of purchasing a house was managed by such kind and caring staff. We really did feel we were amongst friends! Thank you.
Negligent Agency Led to Costly Damages
As a homeowner who entrusted their property to Frank Innes for management and tenant oversight, I am compelled to share my harrowing experience. Over the years, I placed my full trust in Frank Innes in Loughborough believing they would diligently safeguard my investment. However, this trust was shattered when I discovered the appalling state of my property after my tenants vacated.
Despite assurances that everything was under control, the reality was starkly different. The damages inflicted upon my property were extensive and far beyond what could reasonably be expected from normal wear and tear. It became painfully evident that Frank Innes had failed in their duty to adequately screen and manage the tenants they placed in my home.
The financial burden incurred due to these damages was significant, costing me a substantial amount of money to rectify. The neglect and oversight by Frank Innes not only resulted in tangible financial losses but also caused immense stress and frustration.
In conclusion, I urge any prospective homeowners considering this agency for property management services to proceed with extreme caution. My experience serves as a cautionary tale of the potential consequences of entrusting your property to an agency that fails to fulfill its obligations. The damages inflicted under their watch have left me deeply disillusioned and financially burdened.
Best for letting out
If you want to let you property than Frank Innes is the only answers. My experience with Frank Innes is fabulous. So many good qualities that can write here. Staff is so helpful, polite and well professional. Very easy to reach out. They promissed to find tennant in 2 days and it was happened in just less than a day. So, impressed with the service. Must must recommanded.
Rubbish, avoid.
Rubbish. Derby branch to don’t answer the phone for letting or sales and don’t get back to you.
Frank Innes were helpful
Frank Innes were helpful, but the process to get a rental property is very slow annoying.
If I could give no stars to the…
If I could give no stars to the Nottingham branch I would.
Took 14 months to sell my empty property.
Had 4 offers put forward from them at different times which I accepted. Unfortunately each time they didn’t do the due diligence I asked them to, and no suprise they all fell through.
When it finally came to selling it, I was charged £600 by my solicitor to cover all of the sales that fell through. Didnt have a choice not to pay as was taken out of proceeds of house sale. How is that fair?
They even tried at one point to get me to accept 17k less than asking price because the buyer couldn’t afford it!! Absolute joke.
They are attached to Countrywide who are also a nightmare to deal with.
Would never use again to buy or sell
If it were possible to give a 6* I would
If it were possible to give a 6* I would. Beth Young and Ebony Wright of Mansfield Branch were absolutely brilliant. Although should have been a simple sale (first time buyer/no chain) issues arose which they handled so well. Can't recommend more highly.
Added to the stress of moving
Moving day. They didn’t call me back to say how to get the keys for my new house. The chain almost collapsed. Utter incompetence and no apology. I’d never use an extortionate high street estate agent when online ones provide a better service for a fraction of the price! It’s stressful enough moving as it is. Terrible communications.
Cash sale
Cash sale, empty house..12 weeks later!! Coalville branch. Complete lack of communication, each week I would have to chase, never got back to me.. I would always have to call back.. manageress very patronising towards me when I HAD to go in the office to find out what’s going on after no replies from email or phone. I have bought and sold 12 house in 10 years.. this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Emailed 2 days ago about having the ‘for sale board’ removed 2 months after the sale and guess what.. no reply! Don’t get frustrated like I did, just avoid the Coalville branch.. some serious training needs to take place around ‘customer’
