The boots are indeed BEAUTIFUL. However, I bought 3 different boots all size 8. One fit true to size- perhaps a 1/2 up but wearable. The second pair fit a size and a half bigger and the third pair is... See more

Low quality bad service
Bought a pair of boots from the boulder Colorado store. The heal broke off within 48 hours.
I sent a picture to customer service and they said they’d replace them. Waited two weeks for my replacement and they sent me a completely different pair of boots altogether. How hard is this to get right? This is the second time I’ve had a horrible experience with this company.
Fool me twice I guess. Shame on me.

Woodland black croco
Ordered these boots because they looked extremely cute, but when they arrived the liner on the inside was all bubbled and not glued down everywhere. It was like this on both boots. I ordered the woodland black Croco. Also, in one of the boots was excess leather in the point of the toe, which made it very uncomfortable. For the price the quality is subpar. Will be returning.

I used to love freebirds
I used to love freebirds. Not anymore, this company is the greediest company and would rather lose customers than make anything right. Never again.

Freebird shoes are of amazing quality…
Freebird shoes are of amazing quality and always trendy. I have about 15 pairs of Freebirds. Customer service is top notch-amazing. I've email them thru ought my shopping experience for different reasons and I always get a prompt response with actual assistance. In comparison to other companies where you get a generic response. I've also called into the customer service, and have received friendly and prompt assistance. They offer random sales events as well as items that have been heavily discounted. I am reading all of these negative reviews, and I'm thinking to myself, wow, can we really trust people's reviews anymore? Because my experience and friends experience with Freebird has been 100% amazing.
Got some boots that looked great…
Got some boots that looked great and the price tag made me think they're legit. 3 months later and the shoes are already falling apart. The bottom part is literally made out of cotton candy. Should have read more into it before buying.

I had my eye on a pair of the Grany…
I had my eye on a pair of the Grany boots for quite some time. I finally pulled the trigger when they had a sale running. With tax they still came in around $300. I read the reviews on their website that indicated the shoes ran true to size. Normally a wide 7.5, I got the size 8. I could not wait to receive these boots in the mail!! Much to my disappointment, the 8 was WAY too small. It zips up the back, starting at the heel and there was NO WAY that baby was going to zip. :( It wasn't even the calf, the length of the foot bed was way too short. Their return policy is very archaic, send them back with the paper invoice from the box, no R.A. number, no filing a return on line, just fingers crossed they get the box back and get you the next size up, ( which is officially 1.5 sizes bigger than what I normally wear) Luckily, I did get an email roughly a week later, saying good news there is an ever bigger discount on those shoes and would I like a $75 credit. If I took it there would be no exchanging because now they are officially ON CLEARANCE. I agreed to this via email and they said they would process the exchange and send me a tracking number once it ships ... I am still just SO excited to get my boots. A week and a half-ish went by, still no email with tracking number. So I emailed, inquiring about my order...I was then notified that the size I wanted was now OUT OF STOCK!! Wait a minute, you told me a week and a half ago that my order was being processed and I would be notified when it shipped...!? WTH? Was anyone even going to tell me that if I hadn't reached out?
Apparently, they don't have any kind of inventory system and don't prioritize exchanges over new purchases
( theoretically more money in their pocket that way!!?) Like wait a minute, I was in line for these boots and paid for them now like 3 weeks ago, yet you are processing new orders before me?? I sent a very diplomatic, but honest email to the customer service person I had been dealing with the whole time, no apologies, nothing. So I called, I was quite nice, but firm and honest about my disappointment regarding their policies, this time the gal was straight up snarky and rude with me....blah blah blah, it went on, but I will spare the rest of the details. I ended up ordering one of the many used "Only worn once " pairs off of some other site and then I stupidly ordered another pair of a different style because they were just so dang cute! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! These shoes are SO UNCOMFORTABLE!! I made the mistake of wearing one of the pairs to work one day, where I am mostly on my feet and my dogs were barking SO BAD! The pair of Grany boots that I just HAD TO HAVE, I will likely never wear as they feel like little torture chambers for you feet... Sorry Freebird, you need to do WAY BETTER. I really wanted to love your shoes, but sadly I will never purchase another pair and will be selling both pair I own

My $250 pair of shoes fell apart after…
My $250 pair of shoes fell apart after first wear. The buckle fell off. Their customer service offered no fair resolution for the defective shoe. They are NOT quality craftsmenship if they do not last more than one wear. The company does not back their product, one of the worst refund policies I've encountered with a specialty merchant. They offered me an in store repair, knowing that I live in Los Angeles and bought these in Las Vegas, how is that a reasonable resolution? They offered to reimburse me $25 for the shoe repair that I had to have done in town, no thank you. They offered me a return label to ship the item back to them with no guarantee that it could or would be repaired or replaced, because they cannot guarantee stock at the time my return is processed, again no thanks. The only fair resolution is for you to send me a non-defective item or offer a full refund.

Love Freebird Stores:)
I have around 36 Freebirds. I’ve been in two store locations. Customer service was always above and beyond. I love all of their shoes and will be purchasing many more to come.
cheaply made,evil company
cheaply made, uncomfortable.
They claim you will break them in but they’re not like any other boots that I’ve owned. You can tell it’s made with cheap materials and they deteriorate fast. I see how management treats their employees and the customers like $$. They give you alcohol so you will be buzzed/drunk enough to spend a ridiculous amount on uncomfortable and ugly shoes.

I have ordered 23 pairs of boots
I have ordered 23 pairs of boots, sandals and booties. Most recently I contacted them with pictures of Rylan boots, I was told to take to cobbler for fix. This is crappy customer service . My stupid self thought okay one more try, awful quality heels lol like glued together don’t match and the booties look like 2 different colors. Not to mention another pair where leather lacing were different sizes. I’m over it! Stay with Frye or Bed Stu. Save your money!

Freebird Las Vegas
Freebird Las Vegas, a new store/branch and the people are great, Las Vegas hospitality and customer service is like a culture and they are consistent with the high expectations of guests coming in and equally treat with superlative service
Nice looking books...But
Nice looking books, but poorly made. Bought a mens pair of Levenworth, everything about the company was fine until the boots arrived. After breaking them in they were fine until the rubber on the heal came off - returned the boots for repair, 2 days after repaired rubber off again. Company was good to offer more discount($30) My shoe cobbler said the heals are made of crap, made of paper and will come apart again if I walk in water. What good are boots if you cant walk in water? This will be my last purchase.

Sweat shop quality
I ordered and purchased a brown purse. Upon arrival, it was black. I called and was told the brown was sold out even though my invoice said brown NOT black. Not sure why they would even take my money and ship it when they didn’t even have it in stock. The brown purse was more snake skin and the black purse was cow hide with hair.
I called and they didn’t seem to think it was a huge issue , just asked me to send it back even though I really was bummed and upset about the brown purse since it was a holiday gift. I kept the black anyways. Fast forward 2 months later the cow “hide” has begun rubbing off which shows this is not real cow hide but glued on hair.
I had also ordered a pair of boots during this time. They did look gorgeous however the zipper felt and looked cheap and kept getting stuck half way on one shoe. I sent them back for a new pair and the same issue was happening with the second pair.
I began looking closer into detail and noticed so many lose threads, botched and hacked leather, horrible quality and probably comes from a Mexican sweat shop. Rip off. They also didn’t care to apologize or think this is a huge deal since they run sales and make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Gorgeous boots, not even slightly worth the cost or the pain
Gorgeous boots, incredibly uncomfortable. Zero padding. Literally none, whyyy doesn’t this company care enough to give at least a tiny bit of padding or arch support??! I was suckered by their beauty and regret it, I own two pair that collect dust because they make my feet bleed. I bought my second pair a little larger so I could add an insole over the brick hard sole and that didn’t really help, the leather is hard as a rock and impossible to break in. Also their quality control has slid downhill badly. Don’t do it. Out of desperation I’ve taken both pair to the cobbler and that didn’t help. There are other gorgeous boot companies with way better made products that also are sexy and comfortable. I bought both pairs from the Boulder, Co store, they were nice enough I guess, gushing over every pair you put on. Yes no doubt they’re gorgeous, and as long as you don’t have to stand for more than 3 minutes at a time or walk anywhere you’ll be fine.
Ask yourself—why are so many Freebirds for sale secondhand or on marketplace and say things like “only worn once”?

Way to expensive
Way to expensive! Their prices doubled in past couple years alone. The quality has gone way down as they are probably paying some mass underpaid workers in Mexico to construct these one after the other with no care. SOOO MANY DEFECTS. Ive been a fan since day one but all has changed since then and sadly like most companies, once they received more attention, the quality went way down as they had to produce at a much faster rate. Every shoe Ive ordered has had defects. The last one had a big chunk taken out of the heel which was pictured and looked to be wooden but guess what..they fooled you its cheap fabricated material packed tight with only a covering that looks wooden...its really cheap and will chip off after only one or a couple of wears or a slight ding on a step or anything. I was a fan in the beginning before they got more attention but they are scamming people now. You think with more business and making big profit opening new stores everywhere that you would treat customers to more than just 30-35% (as being their highest ever offered sale) off their already ridiculous prices (never being able to be applied to sale items even though listed as sitewide) Way too many flaws in their shoes and mistakes for the price paid..My experience is each shoe gets returned 3 times until I get a satisfactory pair. Also they only treat the customers who are rich and spend thousands on end with the treatment all their customers should be getting whether buying just one pair or 100. We are the ones giving you business and in return even on holidays they are so stingy with their sales but rich customers get addicted and obsessed. I work paycheck to paycheck to buy and have to take a huge cut somewhere else to order their shoes but get no appreciation since Im not buying like each style in every color--with shoes in the $400-$500 range. $250 for an average style looking bootie is way overpriced let alone the new styles coming in at $325 for a bootie not a long boot to the knee.. with less than $25 of leather on it. I have family in Greece who work on artisan handmade quality leather shoes and they sell at amazing quality for such an affordable price all handmade. I bought my last pair of comparable quality leather shoes from there for less than $20 - This company is definitely ripping their customers off paying big time for great advertising and photos. I expect more for the price being paid and better sales. Dont get greedy with your pricing -its starting to make no sense-you could be a well respected by all company if you dont let greed come in the way.

Hit or miss on quality, questionable customer service
I should have read these reviews before making my purchase. They only allow positive reviews on their site. I wrote an honest review on their site, giving 3 stars due to poor quality of the insole (all bunched up at the toe on both) and lack of half sizes. My normal size was way too big and now I have to risk getting a whole size lower and having it be too small. But, THEY REFUSE TO PUBLISH MY REVIEW ON THEIR WEBSITE! There is also no update on my return/ exchange either and I’m getting concerned now that these are VERY overpriced boots with quality that seems to be hit-or-miss.

DO NOT ORDER NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR UPDATE ON ORDERS
To begin the boot I had wanted to order was not instock in a size 5. So I called and inquired when it would be back in. The friendly customer service rep informed me that, that size and color would be back between Nov 25th and the 28th. Well that date came and went and they only restocked a size 6 after waiting a month. So....we ordered the 6!
7 days later no update on the order no tracking info etc. Called freebird once again. This time I was told the boots we ordered were being inspected to meet quality that day, and I'd recieve an update later. This update never came either! The next day I called again as this was the 8th day, I expressed my displeasure in the delay on any info regarding my order. I was told that the info I recieved the prior day was all she could offer. So the end came in a phone call later on the 9th day at which time I was told that they could not locate the inventory to fulfill my order and that they would issue a refund... No one ever called me or sent a email prior to my calls...
Poor customer service and overall company! Would not ever do business again.
