The quality is awful, and no returns/exchanges

I ordered a pair of sandals on sale, I had been waiting for months for a good sale because they are expensive. They arrived and I was disappointed over the quality, One sandal arch strap is bigger than the other.There was glue squished all over the front of the shoe with dirt embedded where the leather at joined the toe. The inside of the sandals was waxed so the sandals keep falling off my feet.I called and was informed that since they were on sale it was final, with to returns or exchanges.

I just got my 3rd pair of Freebird

I just got my 3rd pair of Freebird. I accidentally ordered the wrong color and contacted customer service. I spoke to Maggie who went out of her way to stop the shipment of the wrong color. I have absolutely no complaints about any of my 3 pairs (2 Zombi) and (1 Saloon)

I was a loyal customer.....

I love Freebirds, like so much I have 7 pairs and spent over $1500. I just got a pair, Caprice, on a final sale. Being a regular customer, I am aware on a final sale, shoes cannot be returned. I wore these shoes for less than 3 hours in my office at work, they are the absolute worst shoes I have ever owned. I have 8 blisters between my two feet and won't wear them again. I have never returned a shoe or contacted customer service with my 7 pairs.
I reached out to customer service and they said they typically make exceptions on final sale, but not if the shoe was worn. How can you tell the comfort of a shoe if you don't wear it? So they are refusing to help a loyal customer. They are more worried about losing $100 than losing a customer who has spent $1500. They have absolutely no respect for people's money. Due to the lousy customer service, I will never shop here again and will never recommend them. Freebird, you should be ashamed.

I bought the Bond sandal; lessons

I bought the Bond sandal, on sale. Arrived quick, high-quality packaging and presentation. That part matched the price. Trying them on, they are totally true to size and the foot bed is super comfortable. They are easy to get in & out of. But like some others, I am disappointed in the craftsmanship. There is a part, an edge of the outer soles, that looks like it was cut with safety scissors and not sharp, leather working tools. Something that shouldn’t happen for the price being charged, and something that should be caught and fixed before ever putting it in a pretty wrapper and making your customer choose whether or not they’re ok with the flaws, or having to deal with a return process that is rarely efficient for buyer or seller. I’m disappointed and lesson learned. The boots aren’t unusable, you have to be close to the boots to see the marks. I’m really busy so I’m choosing to live with it versus argue with the seller since I read reviews that were similar to my experience that didn’t end well anyway. So I decided to spend my time to let others know: buyer beware.

Shoes fell apart withing 3 years and…

Shoes fell apart withing 3 years and only wore them occasionally for dress... Did not back up their product...for the price, they should have a better warranty and customer service and back up their product..

Customer Service is Horrible

The shoes are beautiful, but customer service is horrible. I wore my shoes 1/2 day and noticed that the zipper had a kink that was cutting my heel. When I complained they suggested that I use a blow dry to stretch the leather and make it work. I sent them a complaint within a week of receiving my shoes, but of course since I had worn the shoes they refused to fix anything. I have a pair of beautiful shoes that I can't wear because the kink causes significant pain in one shoe, not allowing me to wear it over an hour. Anytime I wear the shoes and receive a compliment (cause I'm not trying to waste 300+ bucks) I let everyone know to not buy their shoes and their customer service works. It's best to buy your shoes from a store and company who respects people's money.

Risky Business! Quality Needs an Upgrade!

Over priced boots. Leather smells amazing and the styles are gorgeous; however, the manufacturing is poor. I bought two pair on the first go, the Cora and the cavalier styles. They were both BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately the Cora boot arrived with a quality issue, a nail could be seen and was unsure if it would effect the life of the boot. So, I exchanged them and a week later I was super excited to get my new Cora’s, but it just wasn’t meant to be! The heel on the left boot was incredibly uneven with the toe, i felt like I was walking on half of the heel and it made my ankle bend in an uncomfortable way. I was sooo disappointed and at this point, completely done with them. I sent them back, still unsure if I’ll get a refund. If not I guess I’ll have to send them to a cobbler, ridiculous, taking brand new $300+ boots to a cobbler. These are $325 boots! Just because they say they're hand made, doesn’t mean squat if they’re not made well. On the other hand, the only reason I’m giving two stars, my cavalier boots are amazing! Great style and comfortable, just the rubber heel cap is trash! The first time I wore them for about 6-8 hours and the rubber has worn considerably! It’s way to soft! It gets damaged so easily! Which is the scam! Cause if you try them on and walk on anything that might damage it, boom! You’re stuck with them. If you’re charging $300 for shoes and they have a manufacturing defect, people should be able to return them even if they have been worn once or twice. Total bs. Fingers crossed they take back the Cora boots. Will update if they don’t.

Customer Service is Nonexistent

I wore a pair of shoes twice and noticed one was causing a sore on my foot. Found the shoe was defective inside the toebox. Could not see this but could feel it. I asked to get a replacement. Was told no since it was over 30 days. It was less than 60 days. Defective should not fall under a 30 day policy. They refused to exchange the shoes. Said they would look and see if they could repair them. I did not pay for defective, repaired shoes. Paid for new. Requested a cashback from my card. Apparently I was supposed to see a defect that was inside the toebox and had escaped their supposedly many quality inspections. Essentially no customer service.

Terrible, bad business.

I purchased several pairs of shoes and boots online. Some of them came with defects and visibly poor workmanship and material . They won’t take back their defective merchandise. They falsely claim that the shoes go through quality control. That is a complete nonsense, the quality is terrible and the shoes are non returnable once you have worn them. This is due to the fact that if you return shoes with a defect, they want to be able to sell it right away to someone else without any warning. I definitely feel like I have been a victim of a scam and I will be telling everyone about it. They should not be in business.

Defect in manufacturing of boot.

I received a pair of boots that had a DEFECT in the making causing them not to lay flat in the back but bunched up. I had only worn these for about 2 hours when I felt it rubbing my leg. I sent them back and they didn't even bother to address the defect, they used the excuse of the bottom of the boot (I had rubbed the bottom to take the slickness away). They refused to replace them due to the bottom, not even mentioning the defect. I now own a 375.00 pair of boots I can't wear. I currently own 4 pair and I will no longer have another pair due to their customer service.

I just ❤️ love these boots

I just ❤️ love these boots. Didn’t have any problem with shipment. Got the champagne color. Real leather, comfortable and really cool. Goes well with my cowboy hat.
Planning to get it in gray and black.

Shipping/customer service issues - do not recommend this companydo not recommend this company

This is my first pair of shoes purchased from Freebird. I paid for expedited shipping so that I could have them as soon as possible and was very excited when I received an email from them stating I would receive money on Friday, September 24th. As of today (Tuesday, September 28th) I have not received them.

I contacted customer service twice to no avail. No return calls. No return emails. All I wanted was a refund for the shipping since I paid extra I wasn't even asking for a refund of my shoes yet. For as much as these shoes are I would have expected better customer service. I have to say I'm really disappointed especially after reading the other reviews saying they also had issues with delivery.

I do not recommend ordering shoes from this place. I am amazed that some of the reviews that said they received their shoes. I am incredibly disappointed with this company. Their shoes are too damn expensive to be playing around and not returning calls and emails.

Never buy the Randi shoe!! Terribly made

I have 3 pair of freebird shoes and just bought a 4th. They were 50% off and final sale so I definitely got a great deal but these shoes are not good shoes. I feel like they are factory rejects. While they are pretty, they do not fit any contour of the foot. They have no arch, there are gaps between my foot and the shoe almost all the way around. They gave horrible blisters after just wearing for a couple hours. I had to walk barefoot part of the night. They are the most awful pair of freebird shoes I’ve ever purchased and I do not recommend The Randi to anyone!!! Of course bc it’s a final sale, there’s no returns.

Fell apart, Unstitched

I purchased 1 and then 4 more pairs, I returned one. The rest fell apart after a few wears, they were nice looking but extremely uncomfortable, I would not recommend their shoes or boots. Freebird declined any support. All in less than 7 months.

Gorgeous

I Received my shoes and they were packaged perfectly and wow my shoes are absolutely gorgeous I have been wanting a pair of Freebird shoes for so long and when I finally got them they were everything I expected and more. The smell of real leather the quality and the look of these shoes are beyond my expectations. If you are on the fence look no further buy a pair you won’t be disappointed.

LOW QUALITY

I purchased the Coal Boots and received and damaged pair. I sent that pair back for an exchange that was promised to be inspected by a manager and then received an even more damaged pair. When I reach out to customer service they told me this was normal. The quality is extremely disappointing. If scratched, damaged, and stained boots are normal I would not recommend this company to anyone. Poor quality product and customer service.

Freebird Shoes = SUCKS !

I hate that I have to actually give it a star. This whole process has been HELL! I ordered my shoes back in August (2020) and they never arrived. I asked for a refund. After several calls and emails they avoided the issue. It is now October 8th. They still REFUSE to give me a refund!! They and the delivery company both admitted the shoes never arrived at my address. A rep at the company claims their ‘policy’ is to mail replacement shoes (which I was NEVER told). This only delayed my refund. We are in the midst of a freaking PANDEMIC! Freebird has a death grip on my $376 dollars. Give me my damn money back!

Disappointed in Exchange Policy

I was beyind excited to purchase a pair of Freebird boots. I have wanted a pair for around a year, and spent a lot of time reading reviews and debating which pair to buy considering the purchase amount is a lot for me to spend on boots.
I made my choice and ordered them a size up based on the majority of the reviews recommending it. I am typically a true 9, but I ordered them in a 10 (they do not offer half sizes) because I wanted room to wear them with socks and most reviews advised that they run tight.
I ordered them with overnight shipping around 12AM on Friday Morning (Thursday Evening) in Hope's they would arrive for my husband's birthday party on Sunday. I understand that there is processing time and unfortunately they did not arrive until Monday. This is not an issue.
I was on my way out the door to go to lunch when they arrived and was so excited that I put them on and figured I could take them for a test drive. Unfortunately throughout the afternoon I realized that they were too big, even with socks, and that they would be awkward to wear at this size. I went home and ensured they were clean, and boxed them back up. In doing so I found within the shipping box, an envelope with their return policy. The policy states that they will not exchange or refund with ANY wear on them. Which means having worn them out for the afternoon rendered me unable to return them. I am so disappointed. With the amount of money one spends on a pair of these shoes, it is mind blowing to me that their return policy is so strict and leaves no room for flexibility. A person should be able to test the boots more than a walk around the living room to ensure they are the correct fit.
The boots are beautiful, but I rated lowely because I now have a beautiful pair of $350 boots that I am incapable of actually wearing, or exchanging for an appropriate size.

Beautiful well made boots

Beautiful well made boots. There aren’t many things like them on the market that are made with quality leather and really unique styling like free birds are. There are a lot of variables in the fit and appearance and these variables are the basis for my two critiques. The first is that they only keep a handful of reviews on the website for each style of boot. This makes it a little harder to get a good read on how the boots fit (narrow toe, rigid shaft, high arch etc). While they do offer free returns, if the boots are on sale past a certain percentage they are final sale. Because I can’t trust for a consistent fit I will never buy shoes from the clearance sale. (Even store credit would make this more palatable). Secondly the listings show boots that always appear more distressed and broke in than the boots that are sent. I’ve been really excited only to receive a boot that was significantly less distressed (and less unique) than what I was looking at online. Finally if you receive a pair that is fresh off the line they stink to high heaven from the polish. My last pair I had to air out for weeks before I could stand to wear them.
