Great company and kit

brushcutter purchase

Order delayed with no communication
Ordered a set of chainsaw trousers shown as '5 days to dispatch'. This was nearly 2 month's ago.
No communication from F.R. Jones on when they might arrive.
When I contact them for an update they just say 'we don't know when they'll come in'.
Zero attempts at finding a solution or offering an alternative. Just excuses blaming their supplier. If this is a regular issue, they should be looking for a new supplier to fulfill the order.

The best aftersales service
The price was good. The item was exactly what I was looking for. The info on delivery was completely absent. I spoke with the aftersales team and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Truly I’d say they are a credit to FR Jones and more importantly themselves.

Very disappointing
We bought a flail header for a Husqvarna mower with estimate of 1 week lead time. After 7 weeks of constant chasing on email and phone and getting no info we cancelled the order and went to Hughie Willit in Birmingham who had it here in 4 days.

Regarding your review i can see that it looks like it is Husqvarna who have let us down which has caused us to let you down as they have not been able to supplier the item to us within the require timescales.

Excellent service when something went wrong
I ordered a Stihl ride on mower from FR Jones, it was around £200 cheaper than i could find anywhere else.
Unfortunately when the mower arrived it has been damaged during transit.
Matt from FR Jones was a pleasure to deal with. Initially he arranged for the machine to be repaired locally at their cost. When i changed my mind and decided i wanted a refund, there was no quibble.
The damaged machine was collected and i received a full refund.
Mistakes happen and i believe its better to judge a business on how they deal with things when they go wrong.
