We’ve now had two futons from Funky Futon one standard and one bespoke. Both futons are very solid and exceptional quality. They were very helpful and provided very good customer service. I would highly recommend.

Purchased the superking size futon. My wife and babies sleeping on it in kids room. It is very supportive and comfortable. Does take a day or two to get used to . The kids are loving it and sleep well.

I wanted to turn our spare bedroom into my music room. So to have a good looking, comfortable, armless sofa that I can sit (sprawl) on while playing guitar and fiddling with amp and laptop is essential, as is having a really comfortable bed. We bought the Shipley sofa bed - standard double, memory flex mattress and Woolsafe cover. This excels on all counts.
When I was starting to look I gave Funky Futon a call. Super helpful and I was steered away from a more expensive option to the Shipley. I explained we would need it by Easter, less than 2 weeks away so I was on the phone as Mark walked through the stockroom letting me know which fabrics were in stock so they could start making it on Monday. It actually arrived the following Saturday and was a doddle to put together. (Ok, I'm a maker of bedroom furniture, which helps, and I've got some 10mm and 13mm spanners which more than helps, but anybody can do this).
Conclusions: It's super comfortable as a bed (we bought a Dunelm £30 mattress topper so the sofa wouldn't get stained if any grandkids might have an accident) - we spent 2 nights on it as we are overhauling our bedroom, it's really nice to sit on for a few hours playing guitar, it looks a really stylish piece of furniture in the room and I feel good supporting such a great small business. Oh, and I got a lot of "house points" for getting it!

Bought a small Devon futon from these guys and I love it. It makes a nice sized, comfortable guest bed as well as a lovely sofa. I really like how it’s got drawers underneath and how easy it is to open and close.
Service was first class. Had it delivered at a time that suited me and paid only a small extra charge to have it assembled.

I had my eyes on the pair of Zen Stacking beds for my narrow guest bedroom. I wanted a bed that could be either two singles or one double, and because I also use that room to hang my laundry, I wanted a bed that would take as little space as possible when there are no guests.

And that's exactly what these beds do! They were easy to build (still best to have 2 people for it, and to lift one bed on top of the other) and very easy to move across the floor (we have wooden flooring) to split them or bring them together.

I didn't have guests yet sadly, but I did get to sleep on the beds while repainting another bedroom, and I cxan say after a coupole night that they are very comfy to sleep on! Beds did not slide apart either. I also got to lie down with them stacked and there was no problem either.

I was very happyu with the customer support too. I got fabric and wood samples before buying, which decided me to get an upgrade on the fabric as I loved the colour and feel of the Aqua Clean fabric. In the end, I managed to get exactly the beds I needed thanks to the support and options!
Funky Futon also kept me in touch with he delivery date & time.

Have had our small double Kent futon for over a week now. Top quality for the price, really comfortable to sit on. Can't fault the service, would highly recommend.

I am really disappointed in the quality of the futon as well as the customer service. Having only had my futon for 6 months, I am shocked that there is a huge dip in the middle. I called to ask if there was anything that could be done about it and was met with a horrendous attitude. I found the way I was spoken to unacceptable and unprofessional. It's clear that they are trying to defend a bad product by blaming it on the customer. Avoid this company.

I bought a bespoke 4layers Tokyo mattress a month ago online and I am just so happy about it. It fits perfectly the frame of a vintage daybed, is very beautiful (I got the wool Prussian blue fabric color), very comfy to sit and sleep. Andrew has been very helpful over the phone and available when needed. I received the mattress within a week following my order. I will strongly recommend this company to my friends!

Ive had my sofa bed a week now i cant recommend this company enough the sofa bed is comfortable well built , sturdy and the customer care is outstanding i would 100% recommend the funky futon company to friends and family 👍👍👍AMAZING

My Edinburgh sofa bed and sofa bed chair arrived the day they said it would,couldn't be happier it transformed my narrowboat after a bit of re shuffling my furniture. The two guys that put the beds together were really nice too, after sleeping on both the double and single as beds they were very comfortable, and the quality is great couldn't be happier highly recommend.

I have been back to the Funky Futon Company today, my third visit over the years and as always the service was brilliant, Andrew really looked after me and the products I have bought from them have been top notch, they now have a good selection of beds and mattresses as well which is good to know. Very happy with single futon bought last year so went back for a sofa bed. I love this company - they are efficient, helpful, friendly and deliver when they say they are going to. The sofa bed is good value, good quality, attractive and very comfortable. Quality product, quality service.

So pleased with our futon, looks great and is super comfy, fantastic quality and a much better price than some of the bigger brands out there. The chap who built the bed for us at home was very knowledgeable about the product and company, happy to be supporting an independent business! Couldn't be more satisfied.

We needed a futon solution to add a sleeping option in a small room where a full time bed wasn't practical. Good and honest advice given in my initial conversation and the futon was dispatched and received when I needed it. we upgraded the mattress and glad we did as it's so comfortable - on the firm side. The mechanism is easy to use and the instructions to set up the frame are easy to follow. It was a bit of a jigsaw adding the upholstered panels as no instructions, but they were clearly labelled and if you took your time, with a bit of logic, it's easy enough to figure it out. In my opinion, this product is also very reasonably priced. Overall, very pleased, thank you Funky Futons.

Beautiful product, the end result looks fabulous. The putting together for me wasn’t easy but well worth the effort.

I ordered in March just as the coronavirus was getting serious. My order was turned around really quickly, the communication about safe conditions for the manufacturing and delivery were great. The futon itself is fantastic quality and lovely to sleep on.

For the price paid and waiting time involved I was expecting a better quality finish. No better than the generic ones that can be purchased online at a fraction of the price and no waiting time. Rather disappointed as I purchased 3 layers and still these were miniscule. I bought a memory foam type mattress, again, at a fraction of the cost and a level of comfort not comparable.
