Edward was very helpful and knew his stuff

Alan was brilliant, wasn’t your typical salesman, no real pressure just good advice. Spent two hours in the stores and decided to spend quite a bit!

The salesman, James, was welcoming, professional, polite, helpful and readily available throughout our visit today, but not too 'pushy'. He had a good knowledge of the product we were seeking to purchase - the range of colours, prices, availability, delivery etc.

Items available to view in the showroom. Alan showed us and a decision to buy was quickly made.
Paperwork etc easy to complete and delivery arranged.
Effortless deal all round.

Was expecting a phone call about our sofa 2/8/26 round about 2pm No phone call. Very disappointed with furniture Village. We visited FV in Stanway on the 31/7/26 and spoke to the Manager of that branch who promised us we would get a phone call on Sunday but had nothing, time to take this matter further.

Found the assistant very helpful and informative.

It made a lovely change to walk into a shop where the staff were polite& welcoming but not overpowering.
Jade Holman was our sales consultant who was extremely professional with a friendly manner and an absolute pleasure to deal with our enquiry and purchase.
Explaining all the details in full and answering any questions we asked.

I’ve shopped here several times in the last couple of years. The store Manager Alan has always been incredibly helpful. The staff are all cheerful and only too happy to help and advise.

Iwas .ost impressed with the salewomen who help me pick the right sofas for me i.went to your store at Stanway in Colchester Essex ,and the lady who helped was Jade Holman never once did she pressured me into a sales I felt very comfortable with her and her advise

Colchester Furniture Village : From the time we arrived, to the time we ordered, Nicholas Barnes was outstanding. Professional but personable, knowledgeable, and patient, and Nicholas was attentive throughout. We could not fault our experience and service at the Colchester branch, everyone was friendly, coffee and cookie was a nice touch and Nicholas was fantastic!

Brilliant service from the time we walked in to the time we left.The lady was really lovely and helpful thankyou so much.The staff don’t jump on you as soon as you walk in the door like some other stores do.The lady made us a lovely latte and cappuccino while we was choosing what we wanted.very straight forward once we had chosen what we wanted

We’ve been to the Colchester store two days running. Yesterday Alan & Paul helped us look at the sofas we picked out and we decided on the one that best suited us. Nice looking corner chaise sofa bed that was easy for me to stand up from. Then it was back home to have a measure up backed up by their extensive knowledge of their products but I have to say Paul’s recommendation of a particular local eatery left a lot to be desired and I think he should stick to furniture!! 🤣

Today we have been back and thoroughly enjoyed spending lots of money with Alan’s excellent assistance and are now looking forward to the delivery in a few weeks of our new living room furniture. We also found a dining table & chairs we liked so the tape measure is out again and I envisage another trip to Colchester in the near future.

We had an excellent experience with Jane when choosing a sofa, she was knowledgeable, informative, patient with a friendly, professional approach.
Even though we knew which sofa we wanted she gave all the information and options for this.
I would highly recommend Jane and the company who made the process so much easier.
