Jade was really welcoming and knew her stuff. She wasn’t pushy but listened to our needs to find us the sofa we wanted. They let us take home the swatch booklet to check the colours at home and then bring it back. We wanted to change the colour and Gerrell the sales manager did this for us quickly and professionally. Great experience overall, thank you!

Jade Holman at the Stanway Colchester branch was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I chose the Bodahl dining table and leather chairs. Excellent quality and can’t wait to receive it. Thank you Jade, you were 5 star! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately the after care company Castelan will not aim to rectify the issue and therefore just do the bare minimum so they can be paid.
They will also insist they have done the job properly to Furniture village with a report , putting the blame on the customer.
Furniture village are been badly let down by Castelan who let the customer service department down.
Apparently the customer is always wrong .

I am very disappointed with my experience.

I placed an order for a wardrobe on 16/11/25, which was delivered on 04/02/26 with incorrect drawers. I was assured the issue would be resolved within 4 weeks, however this did not happen.

A service visit took place on 25/03/26, but unfortunately the same issue remained unresolved. Since then, communication has been extremely poor, and attempts to contact the company by phone have been unsuccessful.

This has now been ongoing for several months, which is unacceptable for such a basic issue. Only after chasing multiple times has the matter finally been escalated, with a proposed resolution from the week commencing 11/05/26.

Overall, the product issue combined with the lack of communication and delays has made this a very frustrating experience. I hope the company improves its after-sales service significantly.
