The man who served us was so patient and kind. I came in with my daughter and niece (full of energy). He helped me with my choices but was also great with the kids.

We were greeted on our arrival, asked what product we were looking for, taken to the area and given some advice on the products and then left us to compare. We left to discuss further at home and then returned the following day. We made our choice and the salesman was very helpful and thorough. It was good not to be pressured.

Was promptly approached by Tush who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store had a huge range but we were only interested in G-Plan which he immediately led us too. He took us through our options and informed us of the current offers and helped us come to a decision without feeling at all pushy. Additionally he allowed us to take the fabric samples home to make a decision on the colour. Really great experience and a really great member of staff. 5 Stars from Mr Captain America.

Everything was going great until I went outside and saw that the guys left some big boxes outside. I live in a small dead end road there are no big bins but they still left these three boxes there. I may have to pay for bulk removal . They came in a big van why didn't they take their rubbish

friendly, patient and helpful. Not at all overbearing. I truly enjoy visiting the Furniture Village store on Purley Way.

I had a fantastic experience at Furniture Village in Purley Way. Henry and Danny were both professional, friendly and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived.
They took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, showed us the most suitable options and explained the differences between the sofas clearly.
They were knowledgeable, patient and never made us feel rushed or pressured.
They made the whole sale process very smooth, talking us through the features, fabric choices, measurements, delivery and payment options so we felt completely confident in our decision.
Their excellent customer service and genuine interest in helping us find the right sofa made the experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Helpful staff

A nice range of furniture made this a one stop shop for what we needed to buy. Delivery and disposal options added to ease of purchase. Quality appears to be good and prices were reasonable. In particular, Harold was a pleasure to deal with - knowledgeable, friendly and a good salesman without being pushy and off putting.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service at Furniture Village Croydon
My experience with the Croydon branch of Furniture Village has been extremely disappointing, and based on what happened to me, I would not recommend shopping there.
On 6 May, I ordered and paid a deposit for a three-seater brown sofa, costing £1,750. After waiting almost two months for delivery, I was shocked to discover that the delivery was an armchair instead of the three-seater sofa I had ordered.
I rejected the delivery and visited the Croydon store to discuss the issue with the manager, Mr. Lee, who had processed my order. Instead of apologising for what had happened or trying to resolve the problem in a customer-focused way, my experience was that he was dismissive and unhelpful.
Rather than arranging for my original order to be supplied, I was encouraged to accept a green three-seater sofa, even though I had specifically chosen brown to match my living room. I explained that the alternative was unsuitable, but I felt under pressure to accept it.
I was then told that if I wanted to reorder the correct sofa, I would have to pay an additional £300, as the original promotional price was no longer available. I found this unfair because the mistake was not mine.
To make matters worse, my order was cancelled without my agreement, and I was unable to recover my £500 deposit. This left me feeling frustrated and extremely disappointed with how my case was handled.
I also contacted Furniture Village’s customer relations and head office hoping they would help. However, I was informed that because my purchase had been made in-store rather than online, they could not assist with the matter. In my opinion, this demonstrated a lack of accountability and effective customer support.
Based on my personal experience, I found the service to be unprofessional and the handling of my complaint unacceptable. I believe customers deserve respectful treatment, clear communication, and a fair resolution when mistakes occur.
I hope Furniture Village reviews its customer service procedures and management practices so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

Really great advice and customer service from Tushar, he couldn't have been more helpful. Our sofa, rugs and tables were delivered on time, and we are very happy with them. Excellent range, priced fairly for the quality.

Knowing what I wanted. But the sales, assistant taking the chairs from Dow stairs to upstairs so I could see on table previously bought from yourselves was so appreciated. I was not sure until I saw, it in place. Sales assistant was, very friendly and did show me two alternatives to make sure I was sure.
