We purchased our last sofa and chairs from here we were looked after then without any pressure and the same one this occasion the lady today was Dianne Buckley and she was 1st class

Joanne at Furniture Village Metro Centre store was utterly professional and extremely knowledgable about a swivel Dining table. Her professionalism and candid manner are the best I have experienced. Joanne must be highly commended by Furniture Village you have a real gem!

Craig was incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful in helping us choose our new dining room furniture. We couldn’t recommend him or Furniture Village at Gateshead Metrocentre highly enough!

I tried to order a footstool online to match the sienna sofa I purchased back in march 26. I couldn’t locate the colour I wanted so I rang the Gateshead furniture village store where I bought the sofa from.
I spoke to a sales guy called Ammo. He looked up what I was looking for on their system and advised he could see it but it was probably going to be discontinued in the near future, hence I couldn’t see on the normal website.
He suggested I could pick up from the warehouse to avoid a delivery charge. I asked if it was possible to pick it up from a store close to where I live rather than travel 40+ miles to collect.
Ammo said he would see what he could do.
Ammo, to his word, rang me back, advised he had received the necessary authorisation code and I would be able to pick up from my local store, plus he managed to give me an extra forthcoming discount that was being launched in a few days time, plus gave me the online discount I was being offered.
All in all a superb customer experience and service from someone genuinely trying to help and that is a very rare thing these days as my experience across the board whatever you are trying to do is that customer service is going down hill rapidly.
First class service from Ammo and Furniture Village. I’ll be shopping with you again

Craig was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike other stores, we were not hassled and made to feel comfortable.
Awaiting delivery which, hopefully, will be as efficient as the excellent service we encountered at the store.

Joanne was super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and I found the perfect divan base and headboard for my new flat. She didn't rush us, and explained everything regarding delivery etc very clearly. Such a friendly store and a great shopping experience.

Today we ordered two leather recliner chairs from the Eclipse range. Rosie , the sales consultant who dealt with our order was so patient, knowledgeable and professional. She explained the various options we could choose from along with the prices, delivery and the timescale. We definitely would recommend Furniture Village!

THE CALL HANDLER KHALIDJA WAS VERY HELPFUL INDEED, VERY COURTEOUS AND POLITE AND SOLVED MY PROBLEM QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, SHE GOT ONTO THE WAREHOUSE AND ARRANGED A TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT TO SOLVE OUR PROBLEM , VERY GOOD SERVICE.

I went into the Gateshead store, intending to order, having been looking for some time. The salesman, Neil, was very helpful and friendly and I didn't feel at all rushed or pressured. My order was placed quickly, without a fuss, and everything explained to me.

There was no pressure looking round but if needed the staff were there to help, Craig bossons was very helpful.

We popped in to Furniture Village Gateshead to purchase a dining table. As we were making our way up the stairs, we were greeted by smiling, enthusiastic Tim Van der Velde.

Tim asked us what we were there for, and spent a good amount of time with us answering all of our questions and filling in the many gaps in our dining table knowledge. Additionally, he also kept appearing seemingly out of thin air while we were looking at other things we were considering buying in the future (bed, sofa) again with helpful advice, nothing seemed too much for him and if he didn’t have an answer straight away he’d go and get it.

We eventually left having made our purchase - a Grigio extending dining table with 6 swivel chairs. Tim supported our shopping experience without being overbearing or making us feel pressured to make a purchase, and also knew when to leave us to our own devices to browse. Knowledgeable, confident sales consultants like Tim really make the difference in a shopping experience and because of his service Furniture Village will be our first stop the next time we’re in need of furniture - and you best believe we’ll be asking for him when we do.

The showroom was well laid out and the salesman was very informative without being pushy.

We have not been told about the home event reductions. We had to come back to the store to find out what our discount had been which we already paid full price

Excellent service from the delivery drivers Mike & Danny. They arrived on time, assembled the furniture efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. Professional and polite.

Shop was friendly and professional. Just had mattress delivered promptly within the time specified. Unfortunately i did not get the delivery guys names but the were fantastic. Friendly and helpful they put mattress on the base for me and took all packaging. Couldn’t have asked for a better service
