Excellent delivery service from Nabeel & Hassan!
This is our second time ordering from Furniture Village, and once again the delivery service has been fantastic. Our first experience was for a sofa delivery and that was also absolutely spot on.
Nabeel & Hassan were brilliant with our Germain Dining Table delivery — amazing preparation, speedy assembly and incredible care in getting everything set up perfectly in the right place. They came fully prepared with floor liners and all the equipment needed, taking real care of our home throughout.
We’re really happy with the service and would highly recommend them!
Great Service from Furniture Village in Guildford…
Furniture Village in Guildford made purchasing a wardrobe today very clear and straightforward.
Marcel was really helpful and knowledgeable.
Just one suggestion, it would be good if Furniture Village also issued an electronic copy of the contract / sales order by email, in addition to the printed copy (which was handed to us today).
I am very happy, though, with our purchase and the service received. Thanks.

The delivery was smooth, and the guys who installed our new bed did a fantastic job. They were professional, efficient and took great care throughout the installation.
All in all, we’re extremely happy with the service and our new bed. A great product and a great experience from everyone involved. Would definitely recommend Furniture Village

Over six months of delays, damaged parts and terrible communication
I ordered a Castle sliding-door wardrobe and internal fittings from Furniture Village on 1 February for £2,557, paying a £512 deposit. I accepted the estimated 9–11-week delivery period because the wardrobe suited my requirements.
The original delivery period passed, followed by a revised date at the end of April. That date also passed without delivery, a meaningful explanation or a realistic update. I repeatedly called, emailed and visited the store, but promised follow-ups did not happen.
Installation was eventually arranged for 20 May. Relying on that date, I removed and disposed of my existing wardrobe. The appointment was cancelled due to an installer’s injury, and the next available date was 10 June.
When the installers attended, they could not assemble the wardrobe because components had been duplicated while essential parts were missing. They said replacements could take approximately six weeks, while the online portal suggested a shorter timescale. Nobody could explain which information was correct.
I continued calling and emailing and visited the store twice. Each time, I was promised contact that never came. It was only after escalating the complaint through my finance provider that Furniture Village began responding properly. Staff expressed surprise that I had been living with the situation for months, despite my numerous attempts to obtain help.
At a later installation attempt, the team arrived a day earlier than agreed and gave me less than an hour’s notice. I had to leave work, rush home and move everything into my parents’ room. The installation still could not be completed because the replacement door was damaged and chipped.
After months of delays, failed appointments, missing parts, damaged replacements, missed work and disruption, Furniture Village offered me £385 to keep the wardrobe in that condition. This did not even equal my £512 deposit. Had I cancelled a made-to-order product without justification, my deposit would not have been refundable. Yet after all its own failures, Furniture Village would not agree to my proposed settlement or make an acceptable counteroffer.
I acknowledge that a couple of individuals eventually tried to move matters forward, but this happened only after months of chasing and escalation through the finance provider.
Furniture Village then advised my finance provider that it would arrange collection and provide a refund. However, as of 18 August, nobody has contacted me to arrange collection. The wardrobe components remain in the house, taking up valuable space.
This has involved much more than financial loss. I have spent months making calls, sending emails, visiting the store and repeatedly explaining the same situation. I disposed of my previous wardrobe, have been left without proper storage, rearranged my belongings multiple times and left work at short notice. The prolonged disruption and uncertainty have caused significant stress and exhaustion.
My contract was with Furniture Village, yet I was repeatedly left to chase manufacturers, installers and other parties myself. Furniture Village should have taken ownership of the order and kept me informed.
More than six months after ordering, I still have no usable wardrobe, the unwanted components have not been collected, and I am still chasing a final resolution. Based on its communication, organisation, quality control and treatment of me as a customer, I cannot recommend Furniture Village.

Good range. Good price
Great service and would definitely recommend!
After changing my mind more than twice and spending well over an hour trying sofas, I finally took the plunge. So much choice it makes choosing your next sofa even harder. Staff were there if we wanted to ask questions and were really knowledgable. I can't wait for my new sofas to arrive. I can't fault the.staff at all and would certainly recommend Furniture Village to family and friends.

Pestered
Went to look at mattresses. Pounced upon and pestered by sales staff who kept coming back. No opportunity to view quietly, eventually walked out and went elsewhere.

Margaret was an excellent ambassador for FV, Answered all questions and we ordered what we wanted. FV now charge for delivery and will not take away a used mattress - very poor and this does not go well for the staff to have to explain that you now have to get a third party involved.
