This has been a very pleasant experience. Michael was friendly, helpful with advice and very knowledgeable about the products I was interested in. There were a wide range of sofas to choose from and Michael clearly described the different features of the models. I am thrilled with my final choice. I was not expecting to enjoy myself so much choosing and buying a sofa!
Taunton branch, no pressure selling, allowed time and space to browse and Tim and Lexi (hope i spelt it right!) were so friendly, endlessly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommend....in store catering an unexpected bonus too!🤣

The initial view of Furniture Village in Taunton was very similar to every other furniture store; great products on display, friendly team members asking if you need any help, a wide range of promotions. So in that aspect it isn’t a lot different.
The difference was the customer service from Gary.
I have no doubt all sales people want to help you but sometimes you get the feeling they are just helping themselves and directing you to what they want to/need to sell. This was completely different. We asked Gary many questions about different pieces for sale and at no point did he go into “Sales Mode” and try to dive in on prices or offers or trying to close the sale. He helped and then moved around the store and said to call him if we needed more help.
Having selected the furniture we wanted, Gary talked us through the process our options and actively tried to save us money. It made the buying experience a pleasure.
The cherry on the cake was that I had noticed a small error in the order (crossed wires) so returned to the store to resolve. Now that they already had my sale I was expecting a different level of customer service (often seen that aftercare is of a different level to the initial sale) but Gary was even better. Resolved the issue straight away.
This high level of customer service is why Furniture Village in Taunton should be your only stop when looking for furniture.

Very friendly helpful staff

Tim in Taunton served us and was great! We had already been in to look and decide, we then spent longer looking, he didn’t rush us, was not pushy, very helpful and knowledgeable!

Myself and my daughter in law love shopping in our local furniture village store. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And you are not made to feel pressured into buying. The store always looks very inviting and is lovely and cool. I would like to say a big thank you to Gary for always being so cheerful and to Michael. It's always a pleasure to see you both.

Fantastic customer service. Adam was a great sales representative and was professional and so helpful. It’s nice to see that customer service still exists in stores. Will recommend to people looking for furniture. Great quality and fantastic range of goods.

Excellent service...we felt welcomed from when we first walked into the store..met with Michael who was generally interested in helping us without be too 'pushy'...nice coffee which helps..I'd recommend the store either for browsing or purchasing...🙂

Service at Taunton store from Tim was excellent.
Knew his products was friendly in approach but not to invasive of our thought space. We didn't feel pressured into buying something we did want but when we decided Tim was there to advice. Would certainly use store again.

Chris was very helpful and welcoming.
Supplied us with a tape measure and gave us information on the dining tables we were looking for.
