You can not trust what G4S consultants say in their meetings with you.
They will tell you anything just to get you to sign a contract.
In 2019 was struggling to stay open, so when meeting with the G4S consultant, Lars, he wanted me to sign a contract for 36 months, I said no. I was worried I would need to close, so signing a 36 month contract made no sense.
He said if I close my shop I need to give 3 months notice, what he did not say, they attached the contract to the CVR number and not the shop.
As a single person company I use the CVR number for my different ventures. Eg I started as a multimedia design and then decided to open a kite shop and now going back to multimedia design.
Unfortunately after just making it through Corona, I finally have to close the shop. I proceeded to give 3 months notice but after not getting any reply about picking up the alarm system and then seeing I was being billed for extra months. I contacted G4S.
They informed me they will pick up the Alarm in 2022.
I tried multiple times to explain I am physically closing the shop now, on the 30 September 2021.
That the building owner will be getting the keys to the shop on the 30 of Sept.
They say there is nothing they can do, they will come get the alarm in 2022.
I contacted the consultant, who was first willing to help but is now telling me he can not do anything and saying he can not remember what he said. Where as me, when you are on the edge of closing your business you remember very clear.
So my conclusion is you can pay these thieves to take your money or you can take a chance that a random passer by will steal your products.
My experience is that taking the chance that a random passer buy will steal your stuff will be the cheaper option.
I highly recommend choosing another company, that takes responsibility for their mistakes and miss information.

Extremely unprofessional service
Extremely unprofessional service. Worst customer service and total messy invoicing system. I am having so many issues with them. Worst of all they don't even bother to reply to inquiries or mails. Highly disapointed and will get rid of their service.

G4S har en customer service kultur der langt overgår Verisure hvor jeg tidligere var kunde. G4s er hjælpsome, fornuftige med en 'can do attitude'. Jeg håber det fortsætter for så fortsætter med at være kunde hos G4s. Keep it up guys because it is so refreshing to deal with a company that if nothing else appears to care about their customers and products. Thank you G4S.

I rang and cancelled this service on October of 2020, and was shocked to find that as of March I was still being charged for the service.
Although I should have chased them, pressures of a newborn, Covid and Christmas meant it slipped my mind.
Ultimately when I rang again to cancel I was informed that:
- No evidence of my original call existed
- They could not see if I was using the alarm (I hadn't since I cancelled)
- I would need to provide evidence of the call to get a refund.
G4S is supposed to bring peace of mind to their customers, but their sloppy record keeping is frankly just one of the reasons I will not continue, and will not recommend, given their lack of decent logging in an organization that is meant to monitor people's homes.
TLDR; if they can't monitor their incoming calls, why should you pay them to monitor your home?

chasing a ghost for an offer
I have been chasing this company to give us an offer for our new property! Waiting time on their customer service call is insanely long. Every call I had to wait a minimum of 30 mins. They are losing many potential customers. I will definitely move my service somewhere else.

Complete waste of money
Have had G4S security system in our apartment in Copenhagen for a few months now. During that time fire alarm went off once without a reason (went nearly deaf from trying to turn off the damn thing myself with a broom stick) and theft alarm went off once, again, without a reason. I walked into the apartment, the alarm started beeping, put my brick to the keypad, it did not register it, then I grabbed my husband's keys and used his brick, the keypad did not react to that either. The alarm went off, the siren rang for like 10 seconds and stopped itself. It's good it was me that was home at that point and not kids coming home from school, I was seriously stressed. We're not using the alarm anymore and basically paying for having the sticker on our door.
G4S, of course, are sorry about my experience and want 1200DKK to remove that stuff from my house. It has been nothing but stress and a complete waste of money.

Yes, I did sign a contract that said that in the event of cancellation we have to pay 1200DKK. But paying for cancelling something that never even worked in the first place is really unfair. It's like getting a rotten steak and having to pay to return it to the kitchen. Really poor customer experience.

impossible Cancellation
They are not doing terrible on customer service.Every time call center told me this is the last payment.Even though I stopped being their customer one year ago. Last time they ask me to pay the last invoice and I paid 1700 DKK.After this payment they sent a new one .Now they are saying they made a mistake and now you need to pay this one.Someone needs to protects us from G4S last invoices .Please send me whole payment list and my contract.my customer number was 4066844
