Do not go anywhere near!

You can claim a “deposit 10 get 30” sign up bonus directly on GatoBet, but do not touch it. Firstly, you can only win a maximum of £30 from the bonus, but the free bet comes with 10x wagering requirements. That's right 10!
Secondly, you only have 5 days to wager the bonus 10x (at least £300) which is virtually impossible, while still only being able to win £30 from the bonus. Essentially, once you wager the bonus fully (to £300) they will only transfer £30 across for withdrawal. Do not waste your time with this offer.

The signup bonus has ridiculous terms and conditions, the customer support is pathetic (Billy and Helen), the withdrawal times are long and they charge £2.50 for EVERY withdrawal which is unacceptable.

When I got in touch with Gatobet I was told it was on their "terms and conditions". Why wasn't it displayed CLEARLY on their advertisements I asked. I never did get an answer to that question!

Steer well clear from these fraudsters, liars and thieves. Anyone finding the same problems shoud report them to the Gambling commission and Ombudsman.

Top contender

I am going to admit, I was really sceptical of this site at first, especially when I won a big bet on this site. Not only they have approved my documents within hours! they did actually send my money in less than 3 hours since it was processed.

They have a lot of competitions and do give a lot of free bets and cash matches which helps a lot.

Very good

I don't understand the previous negative reviews. I opened an account I paid 10f. I got a free 30f bet. from which I won 50 f. Trading conditions are ridiculous 10 x at any rate. turned quickly. It's a pity that the amount that can be converted into real money is 30f (but it is in the terms of the promotion), the payment is approved after one day and the money is immediately on the account. Minus 2.5f fee on withdrawal

Customer service was terrible

Customer service was terrible, when I requested my withdrawal I was told to provide all sorts of ID, when I said I couldn’t the chat host kept repeating the same answer over and over. I had to close my account to get my money back...that was thei only thing they were good with, I got my money 2 days in my bank after closing it.

Avoid, use a proper bookie.

Really poor organisation, just glad to have received my winnings back. I didn't receive the free bet after joining even though I used the code, apparently 'it wasn't showing on their system' even though I had a screenshot of it.

£2.50 withdrawal charge, what is this for? It wasn't made clear when I joined.

Avoid, use a proper bookie.

I have this a one star because I…

I have this a one star because I couldn’t give it no stars!
As a new customer and new to betting, I deposits £10 with the promise of a £30 free bet.
Then I contacted them to clarify exactly what the wagering was about as I’m new to it all.
I got told I have no free bet because I didn’t use the code. I did use the offer code when I opened the account but apparently I should have also used it on the bet. It really wasn’t clear and the customer service was appalling.

Really unhelpful.

Just stay away.

If I could give a zero for this scam…

If I could give a zero for this scam casino I would do. Made a deposit with my visa card, after verifying my account they closed my account down. Get an email saying withdrawal was declined by payment provider, whomever that is supposed to be. Can take a deposit from the card I made a deposit with, but yet can't put the withdrawal back on the same card because its been declined from the payment provider, total nonsense. 😡😡😡

Wanted me to provide them with neteller, skrill or ecoplayz and no matter how many times I explained I couldn't use these methods, they totally ignored me. This company is absolutely diabolical and a disgrace.

Chat host especially a woman called Ellie is absolutely stinking rude, very abrupt, patronising, ignorant and sarcastic.

This site is a big CON stay well away, they screwed me with my withdrawal, they will do exactly the same thing with you. STAY CLEAR⛔⛔⛔⛔

Truly the worst bookmaker experience…

Truly the worst bookmaker experience I've had, my experience would indicate it may not even be a bookmakers, put my 10 quid in, tried to pick my bet but doesn't allow to pick goalscorers in football or horses.

Decided that in that case I'd just leave it and withdraw the £10 I'd put in, only to discover there was a £2.50 withdrawal fee. A little annoyed I decided I'd beat their unfair fee and put a bet on a 1/3 football team I thought were a certainty, only to discover it was imposed to actually place a bet. I'd pick my team expecting to either click a betting slip pop up or find the slip in the corner, but neither thing we're there, tried this for a fair few minutes but eventually gave up and accepted the site was probably just a ruse to get as many £2.50s as possible.

Do yourself a favour, avoid this site. Even before I realised about the fee the site was shocking, the screen is filled with advertisements covering most of what you want to see and the lag is abysmal as well.

Withdrawal charges bewsre

Company buries in standard terms they charge 2.50 for withdrawals. In reality only find out when you come to withdrawal. Such practices may be legal, I don't know, but is underhand, v. disapointed
Needs to be prominent in application and definitely be made aware when you deposit
Company following complaint did not charge the 2.50 when I withdrew my initial deposit so added a stsr on the rating.

Stay away from this company!

Stay away from this company!

Look like they offer you a nice welcome bonus but is just a scam.
If you win you have to wager your bonus x10 for a max return of £30.

There is a withdraw fee of £2,50

Worst customer service ever. Probably I was unlucky, but the lady who “assisted” me was incompetent and rude.

Gatobet terrible

Their website is very clunky and difficult to navigate. I had to e mail them to request my bonus and the bonus scheme is a complete con ( I had to wager 10 x the bonus. I built the bonus upto over £150 but only revived the original bonus of £40) which I feel is disgusting . I’m still waiting to receive my funds And it has been over 7 days. They are constantly using an excuse not to pay. Avoid this company where possible and stick to established online companies

Sites platform fails to comply with own written betting rules....

I joined Gatobet on 18/05/20, after placing bets on the Asian handicap inplay & these bets coming back as lost, when under standard Asian handicap terms they would have won or had stakes returned, I did a live chat & was directed to the their betting rules for Asian handicap which stated:-

"All bets on the Asian Handicap In-Play/Live market are settled according to the score-line for the remainder of the game/half after the bet has been struck, e.g. any goals prior to the bet being placed are ignored for settlement purposes." (STANDARD AH RULES ACROSS MOST ONLINE BETTING SITES)

Gatobet dont show the scoreline at which bets are placed inplay on your betslip/history. Having placed 5/6 bets, that in my opinion I believed had been settled incorrectly, I did the above chat to clarify the rules before using these markets again.

Following my chat, I went on using the site on a mixture of markets including Asian handicap, again throughout this time there were bets placed inplay which I believe should have been settled differently.

After being upgraded to a VIP, I went on to query some of my bets with their vip team & asked for clarification on their inplay rules for Asian handicap, I also advised the rules I was directed to stating the above.

I received a response relating to my queried bets & was told the following:- 'As well please note that no score resets to zero unless clearly stated which in this case it was not.'

This statement went against what was stated in their written rules, so I responded asking for clarification from the sports provider, which rules were correct 'DOES OR DOESN'T THE SCORELINE RESET FOR INPLAY ASIAN HANDICAPS?'

I received the following shortly after:-

'Please disregard the part mentioned on our last email sent in regards to what was mentioned of score resetting. It was related to the general score of the match & is not related to the Market of which you were asking in question to the bet placed.

In regards to the Betting Rule for Football of Asian Handicap In-Play/Live it is the same rule on our site and the sister site from which the link was provided by one of our agents. You can find it available at any time on the bottom part of our main page of the site.'

So, at this point, I am back to being told that the original statement at the top of this review was correct for Gatobet Inplay Asian.

I foolishly used these markets over this period, some working, some not.

Finally, I began comparing odds from inplay games on gatobet, to Bet365 (who I know run their Asian markets under standard rules of resetting the scorelines), I sent screenshots from both sites showing that gatobet DO NOT reset their scoreline as their written rules stated.

I sent an email including screenshots from both sites showing the same markets & their differences e.g. Bet365 offered AH 0 (=dnb inplay) at odds 1.75, Gatobet offered same game +1 AH at odds +1.75.

3 days later, I receive an email from the Support Manager, admitting their platform was NOT operating by their written rules on their site that Id been supplied with. I had 5 bets reimbursed stating they'd been settled incorrectly before. But they didn't confirm why they were now settled right (e.g. Breakdown of scoreline at time of placing, final result, etc).

I therefore responded, stating that following these failings as a betting provider, & me being supplied with incorrect & misleading information, that bets placed on the Asian Handicap markets, up to the date of the email admitting their failings were to have their stakes returned in FULL back to my account.

Following my evidence etc, Gatobet have CHANGED THEIR WRITTEN BETTING RULES ACROSS ALL SITES TO NOW STATE:-

"All bets on the Asian Handicap In-Play/Live market are settled according to the scoreline for the entire game. This includes goals scored before and after the bet has been placed"

It has now been 6 days, I've received NO update or resolution for these failings or my returned stakes worth £1000s
