We found Victoria very pleasant, efficient and always available. She explained everything we needed to do and helped with paperwork. The men who did the move were hardworking, careful and cheerful. It was a pleasure to work with them. The contents of the flat were going to 4 different places and everything went correctly. Items were carefully carried and unpacked or put together again if required. We would certainly recommend using Gentlevans and we’re very grateful to them for doing a great job.

My first experience of using professional movers was excellent. Victoria was quick to respond to emails and was very friendly and efficient. On moving day the team were quick, efficient and polite. The move went smoothly, the guys waited patiently until I received notification from my solicitors that I could take possession of the property. Impeccable service from start to finish to move my belongings from London to a small village (with road works at the time) in North East France. I did not have to be present for the removal of my belongings in storage in the UK and Victoria was very helpful with everything, especially the customs forms.

The delivery van was there at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning and my stuff was unloaded very professionally in no time. From first contact to finish, it took less than two weeks.

Considering that their quote was also very competitive, you just can't fault Gentlevan Removals.

Absolutely wonderful team! Affordable and very helpful service. I was moving back to the UK from France so needed a ToR form and they were able to give me good advice on how to get the ToR form on time. I was able to track their pickup van on its way to my house so I knew when they would arrive. Definitely recommend this company.

This was an overseas transport, from the UK to France, and we even had a live tracking app, which was both handy and reassuring.

We had minimal time to pack and protect our belongings, and did so lightly. To our surprise, GR took the time to re-pack items like paintings, securing them in boxes without even notifying us. This went beyond our expectations of the service.

Victoria did a Zoom walk round the house with me and
then quickly generated a competitive quote. Once I accepted the quote, everything went as smoothly as one could hope for. The guys were respectful of both properties, laying carpet and stair protection as required.

I highly recommend Gentlevan Removals. My move from London to France was made so much less stressful by the kindness and regular communication with Victoria. Movers were on time for pick up and extremely reassuring - answering all the small worries I had. Even the drop off to France - to my dad who speaks no English - went smoothly. Great personnel all around, would highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of Gentlevan Removals. It is an outstanding company and they provided us with a really fantastic service from start to finish.
We had a complicated move from western France back to central London. Half our things were going to London and half to storage. Liaising with Victoria to get the process started was very easy and efficient.
Then Peter actually came to visit our house in France, en route from another job, and he assessed all our furniture, exits, access and so on in person. We were very reassured that everything was being well planned.
When the time came for the packing, the 4-strong team of Peter, Kristian, Karl and Attila were really fantastic. So hardworking and dedicated, also respectful, friendly and very careful with all our items. They checked everything carefully with us, and worked with great focus, care and speed. We were extremely impressed.
They kindly let us keep our beds and kitchen table up until the last day, which was a great help. Nothing got broken!
When they came to unload our things in central London, it was a different challenge, on a busy main road. They arrived before 7am and worked non-stop at an amazing speed until 1.30 when they had finished the whole job. Not only that, but they unpacked all our items from boxes and they took away all the packaging, which was such a help.
We have done several big moves in the past 10 years and I can say without hesitation that Gentlevan Removals has been by far the best, most efficient and most pleasant company to deal with. A trustworthy, hardworking and dedicated team, and I would highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again.

We’ve used Gentlevan on three occasions now, twice for small local moves, and recently for a big cross country move. On each occasion they have provided an excellent, highly professional service, with nothing too much trouble. The work ethic of the staff is second to none; they just keep going until the job is done. Pricing is competitive too!
I would not hesitate to recommend them as a company and would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend Gentlevan Removals. We moved most of our furniture from the UK (Warrington) to France (Charente Maritime) in the early summer of 2024 on a part-load with a month’s storage in between. The quote was inexpensive compared with others we’d approached, which made us a little wary at first, but communication with Victoria was excellent so we decided to go ahead.

The collection team arrived promptly at the appointed time in Warrington. Imre and Zoltan were great, they were courteous, professional and meticulous in their handling of our stuff, carefully protecting floors and carpets as they moved around the house. Everything was identified and labelled and the van packed efficiently and quickly.

Around two weeks later we were notified of a target delivery date, which they then improved upon by a week, delivering our stuff just over a month after collection. They arrived on time at 8.30pm. Delivery access at our French home is restricted so the guys had to decant everything in stages from the large vehicle into a Sprinter van. Once again I was very pleased with the service and conduct of the company. Peter and Ralph worked long and late into the night to complete the delivery of our furniture and, despite a number of delicate items on the load, it all arrived undamaged and in perfect condition.

They also managed all the customs processing for us.

We’ve had several removal experiences over the years, usually accompanied by mishandling and damage to our stuff. The Gentlevan teams took exceptional care of everything, communication was great and they kept all their promises!

We will use them next time too!
