Absolute scam. Charged double what they initially said and insisted on immediate bank transfer because the card machine "was broken". Promised an invoice which has never been forthcoming despite numerous telephone calls. Shoddy work and the new lock sticks. Also go by the name of Y & B Lock and Key and All Services 4 U.

This company is a known scam operation. I was locked out at 8 o'clock at night in the freezing cold. I am 70 years old and not in good health. I was quoted on the phone 49 pounds . A young man came round he was aggressive from the start. He opened the door in five minutes with a piece of plastic and charged me. 138 pounds. When I asked him for an invoice he threatened to call the police if I didn't immediately pay. The director of the company owns several other companies ran from the same flat in London. It is almost impossible to make this company accountable. I feel as if I was mugged

Used this company yesterday.locked in by collapsed catch inside door itself.quoted £59 for attending and opening of door,everything else extra.arrived within 1 hour.forced door open without any damage or scratches.recommended replacing the whole multi bolt mechanism and upgrading to a better lock.job was done inside another hour.total price £309.I don’t think the parts would have come to much more than £80.but the door was repaired,my wife could go to her appointment and I could go to work.on later inspection by myself I discovered that the old lock was beyond repair and the suggestion of fitting a new one was the correct one.expensive yes.but the repair was done promptly and without much disruption to my day.

Please DO NOT use this man who purports to be a locksmith. We have been left hugely out of pocket and in shock at what he did to our door. We have had to remove the lock he fitted as our door could not be shut without locking. This man has absolutely no skill and uses drills, hammers and chisels. He actually hammered screws into our door. He became defensive and aggressive when questioned and literally made up price. We used Gloucester.homelocksmith.uk website. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I was quoted £49 on the phone with competitive pricing for the repair. When he had completed the job o was charged £530 for a replacement lock and mechanism. Absolute rip off. Borderline criminal tbh.

Got locked out. Rang this firm as I thought they were in Wirral & prices looked reasonable on the website.
THE guy who turned up implied the call out and labour was £99 & a new lock needed. (locks on website say From £19!! ) so I expected to pay £150 tops. Already distraught at this but had to get in. Let him do work and was finally charged £279!! A list of prices then shown to me online when I said that was ridiculous. Why do they price their locks at From £19 on their website & then charge £170 for a lock.
Absolutely rip off. I was in floods of tears over this.

AVOID Rip off. Gave a quote over the phone which was competitive then when the guy turned up charged 3 times the quote.

AVOID called them out to help get back in after locking myself out.He came and couldn’t help because lock needed drilling out and wanted £200.My partner being a carpenter could do this himself.He then refused to leave as he wanted his £49 call out fee,which he could see I was locked out in pjs with no way of paying.He was far from a decent locksmith he hadn’t got a clue telling me I’d got 3 point locking system when in fact it was a wooden door!I told him we would get in the back door in 5 mins and he said it wouldn’t be possible.we was in before he pulled away! He was very unfriendly and unprofessional I won’t ever use this company again! Hope you enjoy my £49 robdogs!

Avoid Go Locksmith 24/7 Ltd. I made the mistake of calling them to do an emergency opening of a jammed doorlock without getting a quote (I won't make that mistake again). The charge for unjamming the lock was £150 + VAT, and for installing a new lock £75 + VAT. Dont let this happen to you!

Called what I thought would be a friendly company, came and within 2 minutes decided I needed a new lock because the key was difficult to get out of the keyhole.
£49.00 call out charge
£75.00 Labour (10mins)
£85.00 new lock
How can these people sleep at night £75. for 10 minutes work and £49. call out charge when they were actually in the neighborhood?
I believe it is borderline criminal

I sent my bmw key to them on Thursday and recieved it back on Saturday morning.All working perfectly, no fuss they did exactly what they said they would do, I would recommend them no problem.Rapid and efficient service 10/10 , great price as well. Mick Collett

Had a key that snapped in half in the lock, the engineer came out and sorted it within a minute, was really impressed with the service all round right from the initial call, very professional, thankyou.

Used go locksmiths after having keys stolen

Arrived within the hour, replaced locks

I had tried another couple of companies that were not only more expensive but could not arrive for hours

Will recommend them all my friends

Can't believe I locked out myself. But called theses guys and they got me in straight away. They got to me in 30 mins and it only cost me £89! Thanks guys.

We had our house burgled and the so and so's also stole the house keys thinking we wouldn't notice. Thankfully we quickly arranged for our locks to be changed which was done within hours. It was so reassuring that we could rely on a fast cost efficient service. It helped us sleep better that night.

I thought it was a website full of false promises but was soon proven wrong. They arrived within 30 minutes, were very professional and helpful, charged no callout fee and gave me a fixed price that didn't get additional costs added to it. I will be recommending this company to everyone I know, why would I keep it to myself! Thank you guys.
