Our cat Bramble has been going to Goosehill for at least six years. Before that our previous cat Elyot was also a holiday resident of many years. Bramble had been a little off colour a few weeks before her latest holiday which commenced on the 10th June. I discussed all this with Julie when we arrived. I need not have worried. Bramble came straight out of her carrier. She then tucked into her dish of biscuits, only looking up as much as to say "are you still here?". It is always good to leave her in such capable and experienced hands. I am very happy to recommend Goosehill .

Even at 0.40 in the morning were on cat cam on cleaning duties
Snape and Luna came home with no problems at all, after their 1st time away from home

This is our first experience of a cattery and what a lovely place this is, Envy is a nervous cat and we weren't sure how she would be. The owners were very caring and patient with her, and on her return home she's settled straight away. Will definitely use again.

Have used Goosehill many times now with both our old cat and again now with our new kitten.
It is set in a wonderful setting and Nell loved looking out on the gardens. Julie was lovely and sent us a photo and updates to let us know that she was settling in and enjoying her time

Our cat, Salem always has a fantastic experience at Goosehill. Julie and Ian are so caring with all the cats they look after, and ensure each one is as comfortable as they can be. We wouldn’t send him anywhere else!

So happy with this cattery. It is in a beautiful setting and Julie is so lovely and took great care of our cat who is very wary and timid with strangers. Julie sent photos and an update during her stay to give us peace of mind. We will definitely use this cattery again and highly recommend it to others.

Leo stayed here for 1 week. I was quite nervous about leaving him for the 1st time ever but when he came home he was absolutely fine. He seemed happy and settled back home straight away. That's thanks to the lovely care he received so thank you so much. 😊

Got rastus in at short notice again gave us a time to arrive but at the last minute we couldn't make that time they were very happy to rearrange the time to later that day I know he will be well looked after very happy with this cattery

Our kitties seemed to be well looked after and came home healthy and happy.

What an absolute gem of a cattery. I must admit I was so nervous about leaving my cat the first time (the guilt was real) but I absolutely needn't have been. The owners are super friendly and you can really see the passion that they have for our fur babies. The chalets are spotless and they overlook a fountain with calming music playing (my daughter loved this feature). I have now used Goosehill twice and will certainly be using them again. Excellent service.

The best cattery. Our two were looked after beautifully. They'll never admit it to us, but I don't think they mind going there now...

Excellent Cattery, from the first time here and we could easily see a difference when we went to collect our cats Hugo and Ruby. Our cats are very shy and collecting them from other catteries we have used before was always stressful as they were always hiding at the back and a bit under weight with the stress. But here they were bright and chirpy. They loved the rural setting and watching the wildlife by their pond. Julie also WhatsApp us some pics of them while we were away. This is a Great cattery and we will be using them from now on.

Absolutely outstanding. Booked with less than 24 hours notice. Efficient and easy to book. Great communication. Very calming surroundings. Clean and tidy cattery. My boy was very happy on collection. I got a photo and update which was comforting as I'd never left him before. Will definitely use again.

It was the first time I have used this Cattery.
The cat rooms are nicely situated and warm. Maggie was very comfortable and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the window.

Our cat Georgie stayed with Goosehill over the Christmas period and she has loved it- she even got a Christmas present! She requires medicine and they were really accommodating to this, she has come back like a new cat - full of energy and rested. They were excellent from start to finish, we even got pictures of Georgie when we were away. Will not hesitate to book her back in and can’t recommend enough!

It was the first time we had left our beloved cats, Mabel and Pumpkin. We were feeling a tad guilty about doing so but when we arrived at Goosehill Cattery and met Julie, we knew instantly that they were in safe hands. The facilities were ideal for them as they were in a double chalet which was perfect them as Pumpkin is very timid. When we went to collect them they were snuggled in their warm beds and looked very content. I would highly recommend this cattery and we have already booked their next stay in 2023.

I’ve taken my cats, Tigger & Baloo, to Goodehill three times now. Every single time I have to drag them into the boxes because they don’t want to leave! Very well looked after and a caring environment.

I did not want to write a review as it may reduce availability in the future :). The place is first class its clear they care for your beloved pet and take good care whilst you are away. They send you pics and updates to appease your anxiety.

My cat normally is grumpy for a few days after been in boarding which was not the case at Goosehill

Our little lady is a rescue cat aged 8 years old and can be timid & anxious at times. Ayesha has stayed 3 times now and she settles down really well quickly. She is a very ‘chatty’ cat at home & while staying with Goosehill Cattery recently, Julie commented that Ayesha has been chatting to them too! Since coming home this week, she is very relaxed and non the worse for her holiday 😊
