My husband was served by Rhys at the Ambleside shop. He had an issue with a wrongly labelled pair of shorts. He was so helpful and understanding, polite and courteous. Thanks so much.

The Ambleside store was very well set out, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, willing to help and also knowledgeable about the products. I dealt with Rhys twice and he was extremely helpful. I also phoned the store a couple of times and had quick, friendly and professional responses. Thankyou

New walking boots. Staff (Sophie) very helpful and knowledgeable, and no hard sell / overselling of expensive options. Very happy.

Great experience getting new walking shoes, rhys upstairs had a great knowledge of their stock, managed to find something that worked for me really well. Even went as far as to take a pair of shoes off one of the mannequins to try. Thank you to the rest of the team aswell for being friendly smiley and talkative.

Good service from Joe! He is polite and helpful,gave us a good opinions about the hiking shoes. I didn’t expect to find a pair of shoes I liked in the very first shop – they’re really comfortable. Joe is also a keen climber, so he can offer expert advice.

Holly and Joe gave excellent help. They were both knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful and I am very pleased with walking boots I bought based on their advice.

The server was lovely! I didn’t catch his name but he has hair and southern accent. I was humbled by his generosity and help around the store. I will return to the shop, in the hope to see this young gentleman again!

Friendly staff, signed me up for Club Members card- literally took a couple of minutes and made a saving of £25.00.on purchase.

My husband and I are in our 70 s Rose helped us find what we needed nothing was too much trouble and the young man that also works there sorry I didn’t get his name. Great sale on and the goods are great we have waterproof s that have lasted over 10 yrs but they have been looked after and washed properly thanks again rose will come back. Lesley Finnegan

Over Easter we nipped in looking for walking boots for my son. They had a good selection of children’s walking boots at really reasonable prices.
We were served by a gentleman called Gabe who brought out at selection of boots in my son’s size and advised us about them. He was super helpful and brilliant with the kids! Would definitely recommend shopping there.

Bought two pairs of walking boots today. One for me and one for our daughter. Ewan was friendly, helpful and gave us handy advise. Thanks.

I had a very good shopping experience thanks to Joe who was exemplary in his help. I needed a few items and his attentiveness and care was second to none. I think that planning a camping trip is important to get right given the preparation required and health and safety aspects involved. Tim helped me find the perfect boots, they were like wearing slippers! Which is perfect for my next 26 mile coastal walk. Excellent service and visited the store another 3 more times in the same week to purchase more socks and a fleece. A lovely store, friendly service and I will definitely be back. Thank you
