GO Outdoors - Aviemore (Express) Reviews 

In the Aviemore store today looking for a number of items. Joanne was very knowledgeable and helpful and also patient as we took a long time to make any decisions.
Go Outdoors has a good selection of brands and seems to offer better value than many other outdoor shops.

Simple, brilliant and honest customer service from Andrea at the Aviemore store. After a total failure of one tent while on holiday, she helped us by providing honest customer service. I expected a "discussion" and I was so pleased it didn't go that way! Would've been nice for her to not be a one-woman-band at the time we turned up!

Aviemore Go Outdoors (Andrea) was able to help us when the seam tore in the wind on our Kampa Stargazer II, hassle free experience in the middle of a holiday. Helped us get another replacement tent which will hopefully stand up better to the wind.

Great experience excellent instructors but if your taking a family very expensive no deals

Extremely helpful advice from Andrea to get my partner back on their feet after their existing walking boots started rubbing due to new insoles. Made sure we can walk out with new shoes on by dealing with all the packaging for us. Thank you.

Great helpful staff, served by Andrea who was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what jacket to buy. Lovely shop, very tidy and well set out. My husband also bought an umbrella and my son bought a belt .

On holiday last week, visited store & was looked after by Alana, she was fab, great knowledge & got us sorted quickly & professionally. Thank you.

Great layout in shop, everything I needed was easily found. Staff were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable.

Since arriving in Scotland Friday 17th July travelling from Middlesbrough in the northeast I realised that I left both my sons walking boots at home it was no distance to travel back home for them so the Saturday we travelled into aviemore was on the hunt for some waking boots/shoes.
I seen a go outdoor then since arriving in the store to leaving there was a staff member called Andrea who measured my sons feet. Andrea then went back and forth a few times to find the right type of boot for them both and make sure they were comfortable and size appropriate, also made sure that both my sons knew how to fasten the laces up properly round the hooks which was helpful.. we walked over 25,000 steps over the long weekend we were in Scotland and not a blister in sight thank you Andrea :)

Friendly helpful advice from a very cheerful Andrea. Happy to point out deals, saving me money.

Lovely shop, we always go here when we’re down this way. I had Andrea serve me at the till who was very friendly. Also good prices on for memberships

I was overcharged for a product that was clearly marked at £85 with discount card. The whole rail of products was marked as £85 for the berghaus Mens storm cloud jacket. It didn't specify colour or size on this label. When challenging it at the till the staff told me the navy jacket was £85 and not the black. There was nothing on the rail to say that it was navy only. The jacket itself had no pricing on it and it was the exact same product description. If there was a seperate price for colour why would it be on the same rail as a different priced product? Staff inside store could see issue but we're unable to process a refund of the difference. The supervisor showed me a small version of the black jacket half way down the rail which had a price on it. As I wasnt buying a small jacket I didn't pick this one up.

I think if you are selling a product at £85 and have various colours on the same rail then you are misleading the customer. I think the way that it was handled in store was poor also. Clearly the way in which products are labelled doesnt work.

I was able to show in the store that there was examples of different coloured products on the same rail that were the same price. This shows that this rail was clearly not correct and misleading for the customer.

I was greeted when I entered the shop. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I got help finding what I needed but felt no pressure to buy. They had everything you would need.
