Nice store, excellent service by James G showing us different tents and camping accessories

We came in looking for walking boots for our son, we were met by Paul who was really helpful and very knowledgeable with questions we asked! Very friendly and didn't rush with us! We ended up buying some walking boots and very happy with them!
Lynda was very helpful at till regarding my membership! Very pleasant visit and will definitely be returning!

Paul who served us at Basingstoke branch was brilliant . He gave us so much advice about the boots we were trying on . Then he helped us with socks and gave us valuable advice if we ever get blisters .
The branch need to give him a pay rise . He was rushed off his feet .

Had an amazing experience today, I was desperately looking for some thermal leggings as other stores have packed their ski gear away already! GoOutdoors didn’t have any on the shop floor but with the assistance of Nuriye and Antony they took the time to help me and used a ladder to grab the leggings from the stock in storage! Absolute saved me from being cold this weekend! Would totally recommend :)

Fantastic- Terry in the bike section knew exactly how to mend my bike and went above and beyond to help me. Hes always fantastic and very knowledgeable with all things bike having had bike servicing done by him before so i knew exactly who to go too with my daughters bike today!

James G a very helpful coworker helped us find the perfect dofe bag , provided us with amazing information making it alot easier

We were asked if we needed any help or advise by James G as we were looking for a suitable tent for a camping trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient, answering our many questions about the tents displayed which helped enormously in making our final purchase decision. On our second visit to store for camping accessories James G was equally as helpful in checking stock etc. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

Excellent customer service! Liv helped my girls with finding a riding helmet. She was super friendly, shared her own experiences and was really knowledgeable, that helped us come to a decision and gave my youngest a sticker to cheer her up! Nothing was a hassle or stressful. Matthew was extremely helpful and affable, nothing was too much trouble. When the cable we needed wasn't on the shelf he went to see if there was one in the stock room. The shop is spaced out very well a lot of choice and plenty of deals to be had with a discount card. When paying Julia couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It makes such a difference when you have such lovely staff! Well done Basingstoke store!
