Staff were pleasant ans extremely helpful, got everything I need and amazing deals

Went in yesterday and purchased some nice walking shoes. I was impressed with the staff and went in again today. I needed a bit of help and Sarah Louise (newtownabbey) couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant....I only went in to browse and came out with a new coat!!!...I'll certainly be back

I had to return an item of clothing that had failed and received brilliant after sales service from Carly and Becky. Both took time to explain options I had available in a very professional manner. Won’t hesitate to shop here again. Great service from knowledgable and friendly staff. Many Thanks.

Olivia, who was working in the footwear section, helped us find everything we needed for my sons Duke of Edinburgh. She provided wonderful customer service.

Fantastic customer service was looking a tent etc and Bradley helped us had fantastic knowledge of the products and got us what we wanted and wasn’t to pushy explained everything to us will definitely be back to get other stuff he recommended

I guess I was fortunate today that as I started browsing I was greeted in oassing by a friendly, smiley, non-obtrusive Olivia. When I sought her out she answered my queries and produced 3 sets of footwear in a relaxed efficient manner. I purchased 1 pair of shoes and had a further request. Olivia checked on stock which was not available but at once made a suggestion to get home delivery. All in all a superb brief retail experience For as long as she chooses to work in tjis field may she be rewarded with sales bonuses by her employers and with job satisfaction.

Maia was extremely helpful, she was patient with me and explained with extensive product knowledge the options available to me. Making my decision and purchase very easy.

Liv and Charlene were friendly and helpful. We were supported to pick the most appropriate products. Both these staff made our experience enjoyable and memorable

Another great service at Newtownabbey Go Outdoors. The attendant at the boots was very helpful and professional giving us advice on best boots for my daughter doing the Duke of Edinburgh . (Didn’t get his name) The Sarah Louise at the till was super helpful, friendly and professional. Well done to the team !

I visited today Sunday 15th February,I had a damaged item of clothing that had a lifetime guarantee,there was a bit of confusion but the manager came to my aid and he sorted everything out in a friendly and professional manner. I think his name was Matt. Great staff and a great store I can’t praise them enough

Luke B was a great help. I’m doing the 4 peaks challenge in June and he was able to give me lots of advice about the different soles, gortex and what would suit me best!

Great service, had to buy a large quantity of items and both Adel and Brad were extremely helpful

Mark was extremely helpful in making my purchase. His knowledge of Merrells was first class. No pressure sale and gave all facts in helping me find the best footwear for my needs.

Won’t be back here, staff member that served me at the till was stand offish and rude then literally accused me of removing a security tag from the jacket that I was paying for.
Not the first time I’ve experienced poor customer service in this store either but never felt compelled to post a review.
They could take a lesson or two from the staff in Cotswolds outdoor who are courteous polite and always helpful.
Update: so there is no complaints mechanism attached to the link that Gooutdoors have provided in their reply to my review, frankly it’s laughable that staff can speak to customers in such a hostile manner.

We had a great experience at GoOutdoors, Carly,Judith and Danni were more than accommodating they were great help and well mannered. Would definitely recommend !!!

My wife, daughter and I were served today by the wonderful Dagmara. She was very friendly, helpful and professional. Her advice on my boots proved to be totally correct. She had to make quite a few trips to the store room to get different styles in different sizes but nothing was too much to ask of her. Generally the staff at Go Outdoors are very helpful and informative but Dagmara’s dealings with us were a pleasure. I know my future first port of call for trainers, boots etc.

Olivia was pleasant and knowledgeable when advising me about new and sustainable hiking shoes. Staff at the check-out were equally nice and professional.
