GO Outdoors - Berwick Reviews 

Visited the Berwick store on route to Scotland met assistant Cheryl first saw her 2 years ago. What a font of knowledge on all things outdoors extremely helpful pointed out good places to stop off at and must see places along my route Thanks Cheryl

I visited GoOutdoors at Berwick yesterday to change a pair of walking trousers. There was a good selection of sizes to make things easy.
I was served at the till by Mark who was helpful and patient.
Always have a good shopping experience at this shop.

Cheryl was very friendly and her lady colleague too. We got everything we came for and more. Saved us a bit of money too as we didnt know we could get discount on our caravan card! The dog was happy to get some treats and water and special attention. Thank you😀

Helpful staff. Reasonable range of products. Excellent location, particularly being here in the Berwick / Scottish Borders area - a long trip to any of the cities is quite a schlep.
Also local knowledge and advice is very welcome - good restaurants etc. - thank's Cheryl that one in Castlegate was first class.

The service at this store is absolutely first class, every time we visit Cheryl on the till is the most friendly and helpful person you could hope for. This store is one of the best in the country.

We visited Go Outdoors Berwick back in October 2025 looking for a new pair of walking shoes for myself. I had been suffering badly with plantar fasciitis for many months and my dad suggested we pop into Go Outdoors while we were in Northumberland on holiday. We browsed around for a little while on our own and I had pinpointed a couple of different pairs of walking shoes that I liked the look of. Gwen approached asking if we needed help. I explained my situation and asked for advice on which shoes would be most suitable. Gwen was very knowledgeable about this and showed me a couple of pairs including one that she herself wore. I tried these on in my size and Gwen went through a range of different questions and exercises on the little footbridge in the store to check these shoes were fitting correctly. She was very thorough and really knew her stuff. We bought the shoes and I wore them for the remainder of the holiday with my feet feeling better each day. I have since worn these shoes almost every day for work in school and have not suffered from the plantar fasciitis again.
We visited again today, almost 6 months later, and I managed to find Gwen to say thank you for all of her valuable advice. The time and care she took over finding me these shoes was fantastic and very much appreciated. We will always be Go Outdoors Berwick shoppers thanks to Gwen!

Cheryl, was an amazing help out on the floor and at the till. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful. What started out as daunting with so much choice and options turned out to be a pleasant easy transaction.
