I telephoned the Cambridge store to purchase a tent after experiencing absolute awful customer service from the Milton Keynes store. Katie was so helpful and cannot thank her enough for the service and help she provided. The Milton Keynes store could learn a few lessons from Katie about customer service. Thanks Katie

Bought hiking shoes with the help of Katie at the Cambridge store. She was really knowledgeable and really listened to what I was requesting, and gave me the best options. Really great experience thanks!

V poor selection of men's skiing gear especially trousers compared to the online store

Very good selection of walking boots (which is what we were looking for). Good prices, decent reductions and lots of stock. Served by Katie, who was very helpful and cheerful. Made the choosing and buying easy and effortless. Very pleased with my purchase (Mammut ladies walking boots) and the service.

Staff miserable and surly. Items not clear on prices. Was told to become a member or wouldn’t get discount which was another £5. Another customer was treated the same. They walked out without buying anything. I wouldn’t go in again. Shop was basically empty.

A young man called Oskar helped me to find the walking shoes I bought. He was busy going to and from the shoe store room but nothing was too much trouble for him. Friendly and knowledgeable. His advice on sizing was spot on.
Then at checkout a young lady called Katie served me. Once again polite and personable.
Both a credit to Go outdoors Cambridge.

Visited Cambridge store today with the purpose of buying a £250/300 jacket and £150 pair of hiking boots. Did not have brand I wanted in stock, never mind, but no further advice/attention/effort given by salespeople. It felt very much as if we were disturbing their social life. Very rarely give a poor review, but this experience was extremely underwhelming.

Katy provided very good customer service above and beyond the usual. She spotted I was using a stick and called for my order to be brought downstairs without having to be asked. She was very helpful offering to bring other things to me, very friendly, very cheerful. So refreshing to experience proactive excellent service. When I asked to speak to the manager to give feedback they were very personable and appreciative of Katy too which is always good to see.

Good range of products and great staff.

The store didn't have the item I wanted, but I was able to find something else suitable for a similar price.
I was assisted by Ross and Joe S., at the till, who kindly helped me with renewing my membership and sorting out a payment issue. They came across as friendly and professional, and have ensured I'm a happy customer who is bound to return.

I bought a lovey winter coat at Go Outdoors today and was helped by a really nice girl called Sara. She helped me find the perfect coat that I’ve been wearing all night. Great experience!

Sara was amazing she was very lovely to us all and my friends. Her ability to serve even under a high pressure situation was truly impressive, so thank you very much to her and the whole team

I am always impressed by the staff in GO Outdoors and have given positive feedback previously.
Today I went to the Cambridge store with a manufacturing problem with my boots I had bought from GO Outdoors a couple of months ago.
Katie, one of the staff members, helped me with the issue and spent a long time suggesting an alternative boot which I hope will be a reliable and resilient replacement.

I was served today by JOE, just have to say his customer service was excellent as he was really friendly, helpful and polite. I needed some new ski wear and he showed me the items in store so I could try them on, and offered me some good advice. I ended up buying the item I was looking for.

Every experience I’ve had with Go Outdoors in different branches over the years has always been great, but this time I want to praise the Cambridge branch.
Every member of staff was friendly and helpful but a special shout to OSKAR and VERONIKA who went out of their way to give me the best service possible. They dealt with me with kindness, friendliness, patience and above all amazing knowledge which I couldn’t have obtained elsewhere.
I got all that and to top it off my purchase was cheaper than anywhere I could find on the Internet. Fantastic

Katie was really helpful, patient and honest. Asked about all my requirements and advised the best walking boots and shoes for me. I was very picky with what I wanted the look to be and couldn’t make up my mind about the walking shoes but she was very patient while I chose which ones I wanted.

Alex was extremely helpful when helping with my refund and again when buying further products.
The store was clean, tidy and well laid out.

No one available to ask for boot sizes, changing room locked couldn’t find anyone to open them. Poor customer service on the tills. But got the items I wanted so that’s the only reason for any score.
