I went into Go Outdoors to get advice and gear for my charity trek to the Himalayas in November. Helen helped me pick the right boots with care, interest and a lot of knowledge. She also served us at the till and helped me set up my Club Membership. I was really apprehensive and Helen made it easy and straightforward. I’ll definitely be back!

Getting older in age I could be classed…
Getting older in age I could be classed as grumpy and really poor customer service has become the norm.
I have received such a great shopping experience from Stuart with selection of boots, explanation of the technical parts to each boot I was looking at and even tips on how to tie the lace.

Boots department were top notch
I came in looking to return some faulty boots I bought at a different Go Outdoors and they were really helpful, no fuss at all. I could get the credit back and with it I bought a different pair.
Rain and Helen clearly knew their stuff and helped me choose. Super friendly and, unlike other places I've been, I didn't feel under pressure at all. Can't speak for the rest of the Go Outdoors (it's pretty big!) but the boots department were great.

My wife and myself came to GoOutdoors…
My wife and myself came to GoOutdoors today 29/4/26 looking for new boots. Was helped by a young girl (sorry didn't get your name). Had a good chat about different boots etc and we both found what we wanted. She also took our boots to the check out to allow us a look around the store with having to carry them around with us. When we went to checkout where Jane explained return policy if required. Really impressed with both members of staff who know their stuff.

Fraser in the Granton store in Edinburgh was brilliant - I needed a new bike pump - he got the correct one - showed me how to use it and then checked and corrected my tyre pressure pumping them up - he was brilliant
